V praktické části bylo vyzpovídáno sedm žen napříč hokejovou extraligou i různými pozicemi v hokejovém managementu, a to metodou polostrukturovaného rozhovoru. When the general nurse is a man...
Tomášková, Vanda ; Růžička, Michal (advisor) ; Bosá, Monika (referee)
In the upcoming years, the healthcare and social system in the Czech Republic is expected to encounter a significant surge in the deficit of general nurses due to the anticipated retirements. One of the strategies that could help mitigate the impacts of the expected shortage of healthcare professionals in this area of expertise is to attract more men to pursue careers in nursing. This thesis examines the subject of integration of men into teams predominantly composed of women in intensive care units. The aim of the thesis is to determine how alterations in the gender composition of initially exclusively female teams impact the processes related to group dynamics. Interim objectives included finding a suitable strategy to facilitate men's entry into teams predominantly composed of women, as well as identifying the abilities and skills through which men could improve the current provision of nursing care. With information obtained in this manner, we should be able to implement appropriate measures that support not just the recruitment but also the retention of new employees. The key challenge in this area will be to guarantee transparency and equal conditions for both women and men who will choose to work in this area of expertise. Keywords: gender, gender stereotypes, group dynamics, human...

Kovačovičová, Dominika ; Rosenfeldová, Jana (advisor) ; Klabíková Rábová, Tereza (referee)
The bachelor thesis is devoted to the perception of gender stereotypes in advertising among children in two age groups, 4 to 6 years old and 11 to 13 years old. Children are considered more vulnerable to the effects of advertising compared to adults. This applies to the influence on purchasing behaviour, as well as to the acquisition of displayed content, for example in the case of stereotypes. The goal of the research was to find out if and how children in these two age groups perceive gender stereotypes in advertising and to compare these groups with each other. The research used interviews and selected activities aimed at different types of advertisements to understand the decision-making process based on them, to investigate how children replicate stereotypes in their own work and to understand what is significant for children in advertisements. The thesis also includes possible approaches and issues of a research with children and, last but not least, the ethics of this type of research. Based on the research, it was found that children in the younger group replicate gender stereotypes significantly more in advertising and in general, and they also use gender to defend their decisions and choices.
