Důvody feminizace českého školství
DAVIDOVÁ, Lucie
The subject of this bachelor thesis is to outline the gender issues of Czech education. The first part deals with the general definition of the concepts of gender, gender roles and feminism. To make it easier to understand the context, the thesis follows the general view of the issue on women in the labour market. This work also deals with the historical development of the unbalanced representation of czech male and female teachers, the causes of the feminzation of school staff and the gender pay-gap. Subsequently, the thesis deals with the questions: "Why are there more and more female teachers and why men do not find this profession attractive?", "Is this growing trend a problem?", "Is this profession appreciated?". Last but not least, the work also handles the issue of gender stereotypes associated with male and female teachers. The practical part of the work reveals the views of students of the Faculty of Education of the South Bohemian University on the issue of feminized educational system. For this purpose, the method of questionnaire survey was used. The conclusion of the work is a summary and evaluation of the outcomes.

Iodine content in milk and milk produkts
DAVIDOVÁ, Lucie
The subject of the dissertation was to find out and evaluate the iodine content in milk products in a distribution network in the Czech Republic. The dissertation brings update information about the iodine content in consumer milk and white yogurt which are a common part of alimentation for the majority of human population. Sampling was carried out in a sale network during 2007 and 2008. Altogether, 43 samplers of consumer milk and 59 samplers of white yogurt were taken. The iodine content in products was determined with colometric method by Sandell-Kolthoff. The average iodine content in consumer milk in 2007 was 300,5 {$\mu$}g {$\bullet$} l-1 and 310,2 {$\mu$}g {$\bullet$} l-1 in 2008. The maximal iodine content in milk reached the level of 404,8 {$\mu$}g {$\bullet$} l-1 (2007) and 732,0 {$\mu$}g {$\bullet$} l-1 (2008). The lowest level of iodine content in white yogurt in 2007 was at the level of 406,0 {$\mu$}g {$\bullet$} kg-1 and 422,7 {$\mu$}g {$\bullet$} kg-1 in 2008. Comparing years 2005 and 2006 there was recorded a slight decrease at these products. Some differences were recorded at different milk product producers and as well as the season has got a considerable influence. If the overall average milk and milk products consumption makes 0,64 litre per person then the daily recomended portion is covered by 130 per cent.

Development of psychosocial dynamics of teams in isolation
Davidová, Lucie ; Štětovská, Iva (advisor) ; Fonville, Alexandra (referee)
The thesis focuses on psychosocial dynamics of teams in isolation and its development over time. Literature review summarises various psychosocial and psychological aspects of human coexistence in extreme environments. It includes the risks and psychological countermeasures, description of stressors and other challenges, the intragroup issues and their development over time. It puts emphasis on defining the most challenging parts of missions and tries to identify patterns. Additionally, the relationship between the crew and MCC is addressed. The literature review is followed by a study focused on the development of intragroup relations and the crew-MCC relations in two analogue missions, Lunar Expedition-0 and Lunar Expedition-1. The research design consisted of a questionnaire, an interview with the whole crew, and the individual interviews with all respective astronauts. Additionally, a new visualization method, Dotty Overview of Team Interactions (DOTI), has been created as a part of this research. DOTI was described and used to visualize the data relating mutual interactions among the crewmembers. All of the results are presented, described and discussed. Keywords: team dynamics, crew, analogue space missions, interactions, relationship between crew and mission control

Various Estimation Techniques of the Gravity Model of Trade
Davidová, Lucie ; Benáček, Vladimír (advisor) ; Havránek, Tomáš (referee)
This diploma thesis deals with alternative estimation possibilities of the gravity model in trade. We provide the reader with a synthetic methodological overview of the technical problems with the estimation of gravity equations. Consequently, we test for the heterogeneity of data sets used in gravity models of trade which leads us to a conclusion that behavioural patterns of exporters and importers built in the datasets are very complicated and a single generalized specification of gravity equation can lead to bias in estimates and/or to similarly generalized conclusions that hide important robust idiosyncrasies in behavior present in some subsamples of economic agents. Both the theory of estimation techniques and dataset heterogeneity are applied in the empirical part estimating Austria's export function.

Intragroup conflicts of teams in extreme conditions - analysis and identification of their causes
Davidová, Lucie ; Rymeš, Milan (advisor) ; Pospíchal, Martin (referee)
Since ambitious projects of future human space exploration such as Moon Village, or crewed mission to Mars, were introduced, research on psychosocial aspects of teams in extreme conditions deserves greater attention than ever before. Unlike normal environment, where intragroup conflicts usually cause no more than difficulties and discomfort, such aspects may have fatal consequences if occur in extreme conditions. The main objectives of this work are: to deeply understand the specific aspects and challenges of human cohabitation in an extreme environment, to identify psychosocial issues that may produce intragroup conflicts and tension within teams, and to the search for the main psychosocial phenomena and issues recurring over studies. Such knowledge is crucial for developing preventive provisions and countermeasure strategies for future projects, as well as designing a suitable research methodology. The findings gained from previous research in this area were summarized within several sections including methodology of past research, prevention of intragroup conflicts that focuses on specific factors contributing to conflicts of teams in extreme conditions, and possibilities of prevention. Finally, the empirical part of this thesis involves the research proposal based on the knowledge from...

Determinants of Austrian International Trade: Econometric Analysis Based on the Gravity Model
Davidová, Lucie ; Benáček, Vladimír (advisor) ; Hrbek, Pavel (referee)
The purpose of this thesis is to examine Austrian foreign trade and estimate this country's export function. The analysis is based on the gravity model in trade in log-log form, augmented by additional variables (adjacency, REER, institutional indices, etc.). Our panel dataset consists of 3396 observations of Austrian exports to 211 countries over the period of 1995-2011. First, we examine main export partners and SITC articles and we come to a conclusion that Austria is heavily oriented to Germany and SITC 7 (machinery and transport equipment). We employ FE and RE as estimation techniques and distinguish between them according to the Hausman test. We emphasise that panel data structure does matter and estimate the gravity equation twice - once as 17 cross sections and then as 211 time series. The most important determinants appear to be domestic and partner's GDP, bilateral distance, adjacency and a country being landlocked. Subsequently, we give different techniques to deal with zero and missing observations, and calculate relative trade potential realisation for year 2011. Most of the top-ten export partners seem to be over their potential.
