TITLE: Verbal communication competences of Roma pupils as a condition for their school success AUTHOR: Mgr. Marie Opálková SUPERVISOR: PhDr. Helena Hejlová, Ph.D. ABSTRACT: The subject of this dissertation is the school success of Roma pupils at the beginning of primary education and the obstacles that Roma pupils encounter in this period. The aim of the dissertation is to find out how the verbal-communicative competences of Roma pupils are influenced by the communicative language in the family and what influence it has on the pupil's school success. This main objective has been operationalised into individual partial objectives, which correspond in their nature to the linguistic levels of communicative competence and define a specific dimension of the investigation. A qualitative case study approach characterized by a combination of different information gathering techniques was used to process data from Roma pupils. It was mainly observation, interviews and document analysis - namely of the results of the Battery of Tests to determine the status of the linguistic levels of Czech among Roma pupils in the first grade. Social class climate in the first grade of the primary school

Social class climate in the first grade of the primary school is the topic of my diploma thesis. My work is oriented on the creating and affecting the class climate by a beginner teacher. The theoretical part of my thesis is describing the key concept of class societal climate. Later on, I am describing methods that teachers can use to affect the class societal climate. I have chosen methods of personal and societal education and describing them in detail within the theoretical part. Those methods are described in connection with Framework Education Program of Elementary Education and didactic point of view. In addition, there is a part describing pupils' maturity and their readiness before and after entering school. To be fully oriented in this area, I recognized as a very important thing to also include methods used for collecting information about the status of the class climate. The empirical part of my work incorporates teachers research based on McNiff cyclus. Activities related to Personal and Social Education I divided into separate chapters based on different objectives. This thesis deals with the topic "The content of education at the first grade of primary schools". The initial years of schooling are very important for the future psychological development of children. At the first grade of primary schools the pupils built schoolboy habits of learning and acquire human and moral values. For these reasons is important to the level of study at a primary school meets the high standards and thus helped to create a solid foundation for future academic and professional life of a young human. In the theoretical part of this thesis will be summarized the current knowledge of basic education, in the practical part will be compared school curricula of selected primary schools. Obtained knowledge will be used in the assessment aims, areas and forms of education in the Czech republic.
Teaching English to pupils with specific learning disabilities in the first level of primary school

TITLE: Development of children's creativity for leisure activities with various materials AUTHOR: Petra Havířová DEPARTMENT: Department of School Education and Social SUPERVISOR: Ing. Jitka Vodáková, CSc. ABSTRACT: In the theoretical part of this work I was paid the most concise summary of scientific findings on the general theme of creativity and its separation from various angles. In the practical part, I then conducted research with Torranceho creativity tests, which aimed to identify and record the progress and development of creativity in a selected sample of students in primary school, which has been for four months, targeted action. Hypothesis only visible shift in receptive students has not been confirmed. Better test results were found for most students. It surpassed my expectations. Targeted activities for pupils and proved to be a suitable way of developing creativity.

Thesis Theme is a primary school, namely the outbuilding primary school Havlíčkův Brod, Konečná 1884. I suggest first grade pavilion and pavilion with school canteen with kitchens. Pavilions are based on the footings. Pavilions are designed as a two-way system from the wall HELUZ. Construction of ceiling are from ferroconcrete slabs are cross reinforced, single-layer roof is flat with a classic sequence of layers. In addition to construction and process layout I solved also the statics of building in specialize of concrete structures. The following are also evaluated heat and acoustic requirements and requirements for fire safety of buildings. New pavilions are solved as wheelchair accessible. Pavilion of the first grade has two floors with 5 classes of stem, 1 vocational and 2 classes are earmarked for after-school clubs. This pavilion is connected to the connecting neck between the former pavilon A and pavilion B. Dining pavilion has one floor, which is divided in the school canteen and kitchen is connected to the connecting neck leading to the gym. The land is mildly sloping to the south side. All consstructions comply with the applicable standards and recommendations ČSN.
