Polish catholic radio Maryja

The dissertation thesis called "Polish catholic Radio Maryja" deals with phenomenon of the polish radio Maryja. This radio has specific position between the others catholic media. In some cases it is impossible to compare it with any other polish radio stations. For more than 18 years radio Maryja is ruled by charismatic priest - father Tadeusz Rydzyk and it has indispensable impact on the socio-political events in Poland. Around the radio grew hardly controlled, isolated society - conglomerate of various media, institutions, foundations, movements and educational establishments. Members of the conglomerate (up to six millions) have created unique group involvement which is connected not only by common thinking about religious tasks, but also by idea about common causes. The dissertation thesis called "Catholic Radio Maryja" describes history of the radio and the conglomerate and analyze the content of transmission "Unfinished conversations" by using the qualitative content analysis. It tries to collect - from the radio point of view - positive and negative values which represent "the good" and "the evil" in actual social tasks.

The roots of Polish Catholicism

This diploma thesis deals with Catholicism in Poland and its permeation through the Polish national identity. The introductory chapter characterizes the concept of identity Polak-Katolik and its individual aspects that co-create this concept, as a rate of religiosity; the interconnection of Catholicism with polish statehood; Christianity as a part of national identity and historical events during which the Polak-Katolik connection was strengthened. Although the Polak- Katolik model was created in the 19th century, the roots of this connection can be observed from the beginnings of the Polish history to the present. The thesis then focuses in more detail on selected historical milestones in Polish history, which shows, how the elements of Catholicism permeated into the identity of Poles. The thesis assumes that the permeation of polish-catholic occurred mainly in critical periods. Therefore, for the purposes of the work, mainly events were selected when the existence of the Polish nation was threatened and faith together with the Roman Catholic Church played significant role in its preservation, such as during the siege of the monastery in Czenstochowa, the period of polish partition and the period of communism. Linsident or The anatomy of a poser

My bachelor project, Linsident, is a long-term act of imagination and self reflection through the media of free-verse poetry. In the end I was able to separete literary, metal (therapeutic) and strictly personal aspect of the work. As a result there is a radically, with perspective, edited poetry and its performative presentation.

LGBT Catholic Church Members: The Relation to One's Erotic Love

The thesis deals with the issue of Catholic faith and minority sexual orientation in adult men living in the Czech Republic. Consideration is given to the formation and experience of identity in relation to the aforementioned phenomena, and yet is based on the development theories of E. H. Erikson and J. E. Marcia. The thesis consists of two parts: theoretical and empirical. The theoretical part defines the concepts of identity, LGBT and Catholicism and continues working with these concepts. Furthermore, the mentioned development theories are introduced and finally the thesis deals with three types of identities: gender, sexual and religious. Empirical part analyzes interviews with six informants using case reports. A semi- structured questionnaire created by the author of this thesis was used. As an outcome, there are four thematic blocks resulting from the data obtained. It showed that the intersection between faith and sexuality in LGBT Catholics in the Czech Republic is given by the personality and background of each informant, however it is moving towards balance in sustainable and continuous identity. The Comparison of Absolutist Forms of Government in Bavaria and Bohemia in 17th and 18th Centuries

The regions, which was divided by mutual border since Middle Ages, have a lot of historical similarities and parallels. This study focused on the political resemblances between Bavaria and Bohemia in 17th and 18th centuries, in the period of absolutism. Above all we can see the relationship to Habsburg dynasty, which ruled hereditary in Bohemia. The Habsburgs concurrently were the Heads of Holy Roman Empire, which was important for Bavaria. The considerable similarities we can find in the internal politics as well: both the Habsburgs and the Wittelsbachs tried to marginalize the Diets and other representations of the estates for example.

Czech Catholic poets in the lessons of literature at high schools

The purpose of this thesis is to examine methods, forms, and processes for presenting the lives and work of the Czech catholic poets Jan Zahradníček, Bohuslav Reynek, and Josef Kostohryz during high-school literature lessons. Furthermore, the objective is to propose ways of introducing the young generation of readers to catholic poetry as a source of existentialist questions pertaining to life and existence, deep personal experiences, and spirituality regardless of their individual religious beliefs and preferences. Since this thesis is primarily intended to serve as a tool for high-school teachers, the text contains an extensive section that describes the general aspects of the proposed didactic approach, where the aim is to facilitate orientation in the proposed concept on the one hand, and, on the other hand, to define the foregoing aspects because they constitute the basis of the concept. The concept chosen as a means for achieving the objectives of the thesis is based on the principles, teaching methods, and forms of innovative learning.
