The Use of Animals in Ecocentres to Educate Students in Primary Education

The theses is dealing with use of animals in programes of enviromental educations in rating students in primary school which is realizing by center of enviromental and ecological educations in Czech republic. Teoretical part is dedicated to benefits that brings the animals to the educations, risks educations with animal help. The relationships to animals and stances which can made the positiv experiences. In research part is made the combined research. In kvantitativ part is made the analysis of 85 ekocenters, and their programs with animals, on whose basic was made qualitative structural interview. It was done 10 interviews between workers of czech ekocenters. The goal is describe, how are the animals used for the education of children. My findings are, that the most common species use is a bird (34 %). Students experience direct contact with the animal on 46 %, in 26 % living animal in not actually part of the program. Safety of the student sis controlled by following Health and Safety Regulation and via pedagogical supervision. The safety of the animal is assured during the program by the lecturer and while not in use within program by following animal welfare. Benefits of Equine Facilitated Learning for children with special needs

This bachelor thesis called "Benefits of Equine Facilitated Learning for children with special needs," presents one of the disciplines hiporehabilitation - Equine Facilitated Learning. It points out the possibility of their application in education and comprehensive rehabilitation. The thesis contains information about organizational issues, methodology and implementation of activities. It also offers closer information about problems of children with special needs. The main aim is to point out the benefits of Equine Facilitated Learning for personal development of these children. I was also doing research which demonstrated the positive impact on selected individuals with specific needs. In this thesis there is also processed an initial version of the new methodology of Equine Facilitated Learning. Child and horse : Animal Assisted activities for personal skills

The theoretical part of the bachelor thesis defines the place of the AAA method in animotherapy and its use within hippotherapy. This part briefly presents the methodology and the range of clients of the Equine Assisted Activities (EAA). Moreover, human-animal interactions are introduced in terms of being an advantage for the personal development of a child. Additionally, risk factors related to child development are mentioned in this section. The results of the qualitative research, made up of a sample of children attending the private stable, is submitted in the practical part of the thesis. The research was based upon logs of observations and interviews with members of the stable using grounded theory. The purpose of the research is to demonstrate how contact with horses can help the mental and physical skills development of a child.

This diploma thesis deals with the use of canistherapy in the special education practise. It records the development, methods, forms and type sof canistherapy, included risks and benefits of this psychoterapeutic method. The research parts maps the relationship between the education of dog handlers and the quality of their fieldwork.

Canistherapy in school for children with special needs : children with multiple disabilities THESIS ABSTRACT The theoretical part of this bachelor thesis deals with the characteristics of canistherapy, its methodology and terminology, its phases of development and the current approach of this method. The bachelor thesis deals with felino therapy and its effects on human organism. In the first part I would look outwards zootherapy, its history, division in animals kinds. Then I focus on felinotherapy and its meaning and its kinds. I would point the animal kind, what I am interested in. It's Maine coon cat, also called tender giant. This kind is really favourite, because of their calm, friendly nature. It's also pointed out their strange behaviour and body composition. The felinotherapy is used for seniors and children. It was proved the good impact mental conditions and it's helpful for improvoment of psyche related to feeling the loneliness. It's also watched improvement of fine and row motor activity. My main goal was to find out more informations about felinotherapy, and find advantegases also in comparison to the canisteraphy.
