Forms of risky behavior and their prevention

The title "Forms of risky behaviour and their prevention" predicates the focus of the thesis. The theoretical part is divided into three chapters. The first chapter characterizes risky behaviour and outlines its forms. The second chapter deals with the phenomenon of bullying. It describes its characters, types and forms, defines the types of progression and shows what to do when somebody investigates bullying. The third chapter is devoted to prevention. It gives basic information about effective prevention, legislation and institutions dealing with the primary prevention. Further it mentions the function of School Methodist of Prevention and Minimum Preventive Program. The empiric part provides a set of methodical and working sheets focusing on the education of harmonious social relationships. The activities included in these sheets are a part of a program for pupils, which can be one variation of bullying prevention. Minimize risk behauor in the boarding school

This thesis discusses the issue of risk behavior in a specific environment of the school dormitory. The theoretical part is the first boarding school in the Czech Republic- Open Gate- the boarding school. It describles the unique system of educatianal and preventive care, which was taken over and partially transformed from British boarding school. The practical part is focused on the results of prevention programs and personal questionnaires in Open Gate. In conclusion, the efficiency of the impact of dorm environment on the formation and evolution of risk student behavior is assessed.
Position of the School Prevention Methodist and Changes in His Agenda

School prevention methodist plays a key role in the successful elimination of risky behavior in the school environment. His function has undergone changes since its establishment, as has the context of its operation. This thesis is focused on the process of generating the position of a prevention methodist and the changes that have affected his current position. It also outlines current issues related to the performance of the function of school preventionist. The theoretical part presents the current legislative framework in which the school prevention methodist operates, as well as earlier legislation, and draws attention to the possible pitfalls of some legal norms. It also places the person of the ŠMP in the intra-ministerial system of school prevention and more broadly in the inter-ministerial organization of prevention. For a better understanding of the current situation, the theoretical part of the work opens a look into the history of prevention in the Czech Republic, or ČSFR, respectively. Mapping the implementation of school-based prevention of risk behaviour at elementary schools in Prague 6

Background: School prevention programs of risky behavior should be an important part of the education of children and adolescents. The programs are implemented by each school individually according to the elaborated Minimum Preventive Program (MPP) and their mediation and implementation is supervised by the school prevention methodologist (ŠMP). Within the Prague 6 City District, there is close cooperation between ŠMP, the prevention methodologist from the pedagogical- psychological counseling center and the drug coordinator. The aim of this cooperation is to ensure quality of prevention in local schools and in the wider community of the municipality. Objectives: The aim of the study is to map the process of implementation of programs of general school primary prevention of risky behavior in primary schools in the administrative district of Prague 6 in terms of performance of the function of the ŠMP, elaboration of MPP and implementation of preventive programs.
