Problems of adaptation of two years old children in kindergarten

The topic of this bachelor thesis will be the issue of adaptation of two-year-olds into a children's group in kindergarten, their inclusion is currently under discussion. The theoretical part will describe the psychosocial development of the child from birth to preschool age, with an emphasis on the specifics of the toddler period and will confront the possibility of satisfying the needs of children of this age group in the family and kindergarten / children group. The aim of the practical part of the thesis will be to find out what experience teachers have in relation to this age group, how they feel ready to work with these children and how they evaluate the inclusion and adaptation of these children. The investigation will be directed to kindergarten teachers, where these children are located.
Development of children in children's groups

This Bachelor thesis deals with children's groups and children of the age from 1 to 3 years. In the theoretical part, I will be mentioning toddlers and the possibilities of their socialization. Marginally, I will comment on Margareth Mahler's socioemotional development and the relationship between mother and child according to John Bowlby. The following chapters contain the adaptation of toddlers, the characteristic of children's groups and consequently its advantages and disadvantages. In the practical part which is devoted to a long-term observation of three selected children, I work with the changes after three months and then the current state. With the children, I focus on how the process of adaptation wages, the contact with the nurturers and peers and also the development advance and self-service.
Work with atypical children group with an aim on the development of social ability

This Diploma thesis focuses on the development of social skills in an atypical child group, particularly in the children`s homes groups. The goal of this research is to find out, whether a social skills programme can be implemented in the specific group. Further it is aiming to identify deficits in social skills of these children and to create activities, that would help with those areas to develop. The theoretical part deals with social skills and psychosocial development of children in primary school age. This part also focuses on the development specifics of children growing up in children`s homes and the principles and policies of work with the child group and the options of the children development. The empiric part contains the description of the methodology and analysis of the obtained data. In its first half, the empiric part focuses on the analysis of the extracts from the survey of work with the children. In its second half, it analyses the topics, that were frequently appearing in the survey. The thesis is enriched by detailed case studies of the children and extracts from the research diary. The Legislative Process of the Bill on the Children Group. A Case Study of the Intervention of the Participants.

This thesis deals with an implementation of a new public policy tool - child care in the children's group - particularly it examines its origin, evolution and the reasons for its implementation. As the "Children's Group Act" became a new form of the childcare (in the Czech Republic), my participation in the legislation process of the bill adoption served as a motivation for the topic selection of this thesis. The opening part introduces the topic, specifically it studies the past and the present childcare system within the current area of the Czech Republic. Further it acquaints us with tools and remedies allowing for a greater harmonization of a family and work life of parents of infants. In other words, there are discussed theoretical concepts of a private work life harmonization of parents and concepts of equal opportunities of women and men. Moreover, the thesis introduces participants who were entering the negotiation and the adoption processes of the bill in question, either directly or indirectly. The aim of the thesis is to present a case study that would characterize both, the adoption process of the bill and the participants' determination of the final form of the act.

This thesis with title "Children's Group - Benefit for both, Parents & Child in the age of two up to three years" deals with nowadays actual social topic, which is placement of children of early age to outside-family institutions. The thesis is divided into two parts. The main task of the first, theoretic part, is to gather and work with all information, which might be used for the topic of work and which might be found in all available literature. The attention is focused onto family with a small child, on current form of such a family and factors, which influence education of the child and its involvement into the society. This part deals also in a detailed way with all family members. With a child, with its needs and possibilities of meeting those needs. It deals also with roles of mother and father, who together and responsibly approach to the education of the child and who, at a same time, try to combine family and career life in the most appropriate way. Family Centre as a child` s preparation for attending the kindergarten

The main topic of the thesis is the activity of the family center and its activities. These activities help families with children in gradual adaptation and socialization into the collective. On the basis of these activities, the family center solves problems of modern families and helps in coordinating work and family life and thus helps children in entering the kindergarten. The first chapter is focusing on family and its characteristics. It also depicts the family politics specifically the possibilities of coordinating family and work life based upon the interests and needs of the families and support within the framework of services regarding the childcare. Second chapter focuses on the child, its development at two years of age and its needs. With regards to the methodological part of the thesis, it also focuses on adaptation and socialization into the collective and games as a spontanneous and natural child activity. Corporate family friendly policy from the perspective of employers

This bachelor's thesis deals with the topic of family-friendly company policies in the Czech Republic. The text introduces individual measures, taking which can employer help to manage working and family life of his employees. The thesis aims at providing the reader with the development of the concept of family-friendly company policy before and after 1989 and anchoring it in the legislative system of the Czech Republic. The part containing research analyzes on the basis of a case study opinions and attitudes of employers themselves. Based on the analysis, the thesis reaches a conclusion that the employers are interested in family-friendly company policy because they find the employees' satisfaction in the workplace important; nevertheless they perceive the support from the state as insufficient. The job of child educators in Czech day-care centres in terms of accountability

Marie-Anna Bitnerová The bachelor thesis Summer semester 2021 The bachelor thesis is concerned with the present situation of Czech pre-school care for children from one to three years of age. The research focuses on the job of child educators in Czech children's day-care centres and on their relationships with other participants in such organisations (parents, colleagues, superiors and children). This phenomenon is described using the concept of accountability, which means responsibility for performed services (social connection between two participants, where one participant accounts for his/her services to the other) and through one's own moral responsibility felt towards other participants while working. The research was carried out using five in-depth interviews with child educators of five Prague-based day-care centres. Based on that data set it appeared that child educators seem to feel most accountable for their services towards the children's parents and most morally accountable towards the children themselves.
