Founder role in the development of the Czech education system

The primary objective of the diploma thesis titled Role of the founder in the development of the Czech education system is to draw the benefits of the reform of public administration on the development of the Czech education system. The first theoretical part of the thesis attempts to explain the development of the Czech education system and at the same time, especially in the second theoretical part informing about the roles of founders and headmasters in the process of transformation of the Czech educational system. The second theoretical part specializes in the list of legislative competencies of headmasters and founders in connection with the reform of public administration. The main part of the thesis deals with the question whether a possible cause of declining educational outcomes Czech pupils in international PISA amendment to the law on state administration and local government in education. The first research assumption based on the fact that it is the effect of this amendment founders are obliged to establish schools and educational institutions only as contributory organizations. Thus, schools have autonomy in addition to teaching as well as economic autonomy with which it is associated and increase competencies and responsibilities of headmasters as statutory bodies funded...

The first two map the circumstances of Waldorf education and life-shaping the mind constructs its founder Rudolf Steiner. Analysis of ICT accessibility at tertiary professional schools

The final bachelor's thesis studies the accessibility of information and communication technologies (ICT) in the educational process at tertiary professional schools (ISCED 5B) in order to analyze their approach to modern technological resources and services. The theoretical part presents findings on how technology, accessibility and effective use of ICT can support teaching and help schools in the management of the educational process. The practical part presents a questionnaire survey of the accessibility of specific technologies. Questionnaire survey was carried out among school directors and students. Other part of survey deals with applications and services that tertiary professional schools offer on their web pages. Based on the analysis of the accessibility this bachelor's thesis makes recommendations and suggestions for the support of ICT use in the learning and teaching process management. Comparison of British and Czech educational systems specifically in terms of school management

TITLE: "Comparison of British and Czech educational systems specifically in terms of school management" AUTHOR: Hana Kratinová DEPARTMENT: School Management Centre SUPERVISOR: RNDr. Jindřich Kitzberger ABSTRACT: This bachelor thesis presents a comparison of British and Czech educational systems in terms of historical development, the school systems, status and education of teachers and specially the function of the head teacher. In the theoretical section a number of interesting comparative data is listed. This section covers not only the present of British education and related areas but also historical development. Great attention is paid to comparison of the two school systems, as well as to the differences and similarities in the education of teachers and managers. Practical part provides by the method of survey suggestions of areas in which in the opinions of the respondents could be used practical experience of British school management in the Czech conditions, although both countries are different in terms of history, sociality and also in terms of the state systems. Attitudes of the Czech society towards an amendment of a law about Czech educational system, higher education fees and standardized secondary school graduation tests – September 2016

In September, the Public Opinion Research Centre of the Academy of Sciences asked a set of questions related to attitudes of the Czech citizens towards amendment of a law about Czech educational system. Simultaneously, the Public Opinion Research Centre probed opinions about standardized secondary school graduation tests and fees for the higher education. The results suggest that the public approves most of the amendments. The proposition about the higher education fees was rejected by most of the respondents like in previous years. Contrary, the standardized secondary school graduation tests are embraced by a slight majority of population.

Education under the roof of the European Union

This thesis is a response to current education reform in the Czech Republic. EU objective and their long-term goals will be defined in the introduction. The main objective of the thesis is comparison of two different educational systems, both of which are under control of the European Union. There are two countries selected for this paper, the Czech Republic and the Netherlands. Not only the educational systems, but also the method of financing is compared. The Czech educational system is entirely dependent on public funding for their educational system, while in Netherlands a significant part of the finances going to the educational system is covered by students themselves. Besides other things current issues in educational sector, which are faced by selected countries, will be discussed in the thesis as well. Two private schools were chosen for comparison to illustrate the situation of private education in the Czech Republic, University of Finances and Administration and The European Polytechnic Institute in Kunovice.
