Diplomová práce je reakcí na současnou reformu školství v České republice. V úvodu bude definován cíl EU v oblasti vzdělávání a její dlouhodobé cíle. Hlavním cílem je komparace dvou od sebe odlišných systémů školství, které oba spadají pod záštitu Evropské unie. Pro práci byly vybrány země Česká republika a Nizozemské království. Kromě systémů školství je zde porovnán i způsob jeho financování. České školství je zcela odkázáno na financování svého vzdělávacího systému pouze z veřejných výdajů, kdežto v Nizozemí funguje výrazná spoluúčast samotných studentů na hrazení si studia. Mimo jiné zde budou rozebrány aktuální problémy, se kterými se dané země v resortu školství potýkají. Pro dokreslení situace privátního školství v ČR byly komparovány dvě soukromé školy; Vysoká škola finanční a správní v Praze a Evropský polytechnický institut v Kunovicích. This thesis is a response to current education reform in the Czech Republic. EU objective and their long-term goals will be defined in the introduction. The main objective of the thesis is comparison of two different educational systems, both of which are under control of the European Union. There are two countries selected for this paper, the Czech Republic and the Netherlands. Not only the educational systems, but also the method of financing is compared. The Czech educational system is entirely dependent on public funding for their educational system, while in Netherlands a significant part of the finances going to the educational system is covered by students themselves. Besides other things current issues in educational sector, which are faced by selected countries, will be discussed in the thesis as well. Two private schools were chosen for comparison to illustrate the situation of private education in the Czech Republic, University of Finances and Administration and The European Polytechnic Institute in Kunovice.
