Selected fundamental-theological aspects of the Hare Krishna movement

Selected fundamental-theological aspects of the Haré Krishna movement. In this work we try to give an overview of the Roman Catholic Church as well as the Haré Krishna movement, ie the history, anthropology and theology of religious organizations selected by us. The whole thesis is divided into three chapters. In the first chapter we are talking about fundamental theology and synthetically imagine its history, the state and the most important fundamental questions of theology, such as: imagine of a man in the Roman Catholic Church, God's revelation, fundamental Christology and ecclesiology fundamental. In this chapter we also transfer as divine revelation, Jesus Christ and the Church. In the following, the second chapter we talk about the Haré Krishna movement and symmetrical to the first chapter in this section deal with the image of man in the Haré Krishna movement, divine revelation, Krishna and Prabhupada and ISKCON as an institution that Prabhupada founded. In the last third chapter of this work fundamentally-theologically-evaluate the credibility of anthropology, divine revelation, Krishna, Prabhupada and ISKCON. In conclusion, this thesis will then only recall why we wrote this thesis.
Analysis of the relationship between media popularit y and perceiving their credibility

The goal of our thesis was to study the relation between trust and media. Therefore, we have introduced some selected theoretical approaches of trust in relation to society and we have also formulated our own theoretical implications on the basis of this review which we have later used in our research of trust in media. In the theoretical part we have defined the concept of trust in terms of two key principals of trust based on the rational and intuitive understanding of trust. We have described hierarchical levels of trust in society and then we have focused on interpersonal and system level. We have reviewed selected theoretical approaches to trust and we have outlined the development of trust within sociology. We have explained the function of media in society and pointed out the reasons of the interest in studying trust in media together with the review of the concepts of media effects. Then we have briefly summarized the empirical research and mentioned the situation in the Czech Republic. Finally we have suggested some phenomenons that may cause the decrease in trust are named. Central Bank Transparency and Price Stability

The thesis investigates the central bank transparency employing the Monetary Policy Transparency Index. The main objective is to investigate recent trends in the central bank transparency. First, the level of monetary policy transparency is investigated from various aspects, as, for instance, time or geographical aspect. In the next part, all the data are averaged and linear regression analysis is carried out to detect the determinants of the monetary policy which explain the variation among the individual central banks. Finally, panel regressions are conducted to explore the time variation in the monetary policy transparency in the countries. Throughout the text, all the results are compared with the results presented in the paper by Dincer & Eichengreen (2009). The data show that the overall time trend in the level of monetary transparency is increasing. It can be concluded that inflation targeters are generally more transparent than countries with other frameworks. The same applies to advanced countries and emerging and developing countries. The de facto exchange rate regime and all political variables used significantly determine the variation in the monetary policy transparency comparing individual countries. Qualitative Research Exploring the Credibility of Social Networks as News Sources in the Czech Republic

This master's thesis focuses on the credibility of social media as news sources in journalistic practices in the Czech Republic. The paper is based on the sociological conceptualization of trust put forward by Niklas Luhmann and Piotr Sztompka and its modern adaptation by media scholars, e.g. Thorsten Quandt. The aim of this work has been to find out through thirteen substantive, one- on-one interviews with readers of the print and online media editions of Krkonošský deník how the credibility of news stories depend on the information sources used. The thesis includes the theoretical part that is based on the theoretical conceptualization of trust: from the main concepts and conflict topics to the journalistic practices that should ensure trustworthiness and audiences' perceptions of trustworthiness. The Methodology section describes the area of qualitative research and related procedures, which include a detailed description of the data collection method, which is a semi-structured, in-depth interview, and the characteristics of the research sample. In findings the results of the research from the data obtained through interviews conducted with respondents are interpreted. The conclusion of the thesis is dedicated to summarizing the research results.
Monitoring the social impact as a tool to increase the credibility of non-profit organizations

This diploma thesis combines the method of monitoring the social impact with the phenomenon of the credibility of non-profit organizations. According to the results of public opinion polls in the Czech Republic, confidence in non-profit organizations has been low for a long time. Lack of transparency and low awareness of the activities and principles of non- profit organizations can be reasons for distrust in non-profit organizations. This thesis aims to present a method of monitoring the impact of those who do not yet know it using a manual based on the results of action research and thus contribute to greater transparency and better presentation of results and later greater credibility of organizations. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with trust and credibility, the method of monitoring the impact and the introduction of the non-profit sector of the Czech Republic. Emphasis is placed on a multi-sided view, practical examples, and data support. The empirical part of this work uses action research and human-centerd design to connect trust and credibility with the method of monitoring the impact in the sphere of non-profit organizations. Portrayal of Journalists in Netflix' Series "House of Cards"

This thesis examined the contemporary U.S. popular culture, specifically the Netflix series House of Cards, and the analysis was focused on the representation of the media reality portrayed in the first two seasons of the series. The credibility of given model situations or their exaggeration is examined based on thirteen research interviews with Czech and American journalists in March, April, and May 2020. The public trust in media, the influence of popular culture on mass society, specifics and ethics of investigative journalism, and broadly the representation of media in cinematography were presented in the first part. The analysis of the portrayal of journalists and media in the series and research interviews with experts followed. The main objective of this research was to evaluate the credibility of the portrayal of journalists. The secondary research question was focused on the public trust in media and the potential harm that the depiction in culture might cause. The views of Czech and American journalists on the portrayal of media in popular culture and the discussion about their diverse opinions are the primary asset of this thesis. The diploma thesis deals with the role of a television news anchorman/woman. It focuses on the origin of the anchorman, the main and characteristic professional prerequisites, and the differences between the anchormen of public and commercial television. The primary role of the moderator is to inform about current events. But in the same time be objective, neutral, and trustworthy, and leave a way expressing one's own emotions. However, these values may differ as to the television broadcasting system. As part of his role in television, they can be a suitable element in media self-presentation. The thesis focuses on work with commercial and public television, analyses the emotional and professional aspects of his work and his contribution to the creation of news programs. The research is also carried out among the public, which enables the main characteristics and functions of moderators.

66 The credibility of testimony in criminal proceedings Abstract This thesis focuses on assessing the credibility of testimony in criminal proceedings with a closer focus on assessing the credibility of testimony by investigative, prosecuting and adjudicating bodies. For this purpose, in the first part of the thesis, the author defines the term "testimony", describes its role in the criminal proceeding and distinguishes its role in the criminal proceeding as opposed to that in the civil proceeding. Then, the author defines the term "interrogation" and identifies institutes of criminal law applied in the course of criminal proceedings, by which the testimony is obtained. In the following, third chapter, the author focuses on the explanation of the concept of credibility of testimony, and differentiates its various types. In the fourth and fifth chapter, the author identifies, describes and evaluates possible ways of assesing the credibility of testimony by investigative, prosecuting and adjudicating bodies in context of current case law. Special attention is paid to expertises, their assignment, interpretation and evaluation. Fundraising of non-profit organisation NIDAR

This thesis deals with fundraising of non-profit organisations. The scope of the thesis is to provide the reader with basic information about fundraising, and to apply this information in order to evaluate the fundraising of a selected non-profit organisation. First of all, this work defines the non-profit sector and its long-term sustainability, then the work deals with the fundraising itself. Issues connected with credibility of the organisation and its webpages are included in the part concerning fundraising.These factors establish a competitive advantage in activities that are focused on fundraising. These theoretical foundations are applied on a chosen non-profit organisation, and additionaly, the webpages of the organisation are also analysed, and an ASNO14 non-profit organisation reliability analysis is carried out. The data used in the practical part was collected through an analysis of annual reports of the organisation, webpage analysis and through a personal interview. The ending of this thesis includes an overall evaluation and improvement proposals.

Author analyses three protracted conflicts of the 20th century (Cold War, Israeli-Arab Conflict and Indo-Pakistani Rivalry) in both qualitative and quantitative manner in order to find out an answer for the following research question: "Does a deterrence failure caused by a lack of credibility increase the likelihood of general deterrence failure in the next crisis?"
