The theoretical part of the work describes an essential background and an explanation of individual methods used for analysis of information systems. Usage of Design Patterns in Software Development

The objective of my MSc Thesis was to map over reasons, why are design patterns so popular in the modern information systems and other applications development. It is considering with the basic aspects of object-oriented systems, expounds the importance and structure of design patterns. The explication is followed by categorization of design patterns and in more detail is focused on the most frequently used design patterns including their contribution or complications, which could eventually occur. The advantages of design with design patterns are demonstrated on practical example of database application.

Navigation and Information System for Visually Impaired

Poškození zraku je jedním z nejčastějších tělesných postižení -- udává se, že až 3 % populace trpí vážným poškozením nebo ztrátou zraku. Oslepnutí výrazně zhoršuje schopnost orientace a pohybu v okolním prostředí -- bez znalosti uspořádání prostoru, jinak získané převážně pomocí zraku, postižený zkrátka neví, kudy se pohybovat ke svému cíli. Obvyklým řešením problému orientace v neznámých prostředích je doprovod nevidomého osobou se zdravým zrakem; tato služba je však velmi náročná a nevidomý se musí plně spolehnout na doprovod. Tato práce zkoumá možnosti, kterými by bylo možné postiženým ulehčit orientaci v prostoru, a to využitím existujících senzorických prostředků a vhodného zpracování jejich dat. Téma je zpracováno skrze analogii s mobilní robotikou, v jejímž duchu je rozděleno na část lokalizace a plánování cesty. Zatímco metody plánování cesty jsou vesměs k dispozici, lokalizace chodce často trpí značnými nepřesnostmi určení polohy a komplikuje tak využití standardních navigačních přístrojů nevidomými uživateli. Zlepšení odhadu polohy může být dosaženo vícero cestami, zkoumanými analytickou kapitolou. Předložená práce prvně navrhuje fúzi obvyklého přijímače systému GPS s chodeckou odometrickou jednotkou, což vede k zachování věrného tvaru trajektorie na lokální úrovni. Pro zmírnění zbývající chyby posunu odhadu je proveden návrh využití přirozených význačných bodů prostředí, které jsou vztaženy ke globální referenci polohy. Na základě existujících formalismů vyhledávání v grafu jsou zkoumána kritéria optimality vhodná pro volbu cesty nevidomého skrz městské prostředí. Generátor vysokoúrovňových instrukcí založený na fuzzy logice je potom budován s motivací uživatelského rozhraní působícího lidsky; doplňkem je okamžitý haptický výstup korigující odchylku směru. Chování navržených principů bylo vyhodnoceno na základě realistických experimentů zachycujících specifika cílového městského prostředí. Výsledky vykazují značná zlepšení jak maximálních, tak středních ukazatelů chyby určení polohy.

FAMILY HOUSE WITH THE SURGERY GENERAL PRACTITIONER

The theme of bachelor´s thesis is new-building family house with the surgery general practitioner. The residential area is divided for the two separate housing units. One of the apartments is duplex. The Surgery is wheelchair accessible. It has a separate entrance form the north side. The building is set in sloping terrain. It has three floors, it is partly basement and 3NP is solved in the attic. It is a brick building, which is the system POROTHERM with a combination of BTB fittings in the basement. Roofing is solved by a combination gabled and rack roof with a pitch 35° and 15°.

Sports center in Broumov

The topic of the masters thesis is newly built sports center in Broumov on the outskirts of the historic center. The proposal was placed high demands on appearance. There is a non-traditional stone facade with a combination of wood ventilated facades. The combination of wood and stone construction gives a historic feel and fit and existing buildings, which will carry the dominant built-up area. The new building is set into the sloping terrain with a flair for existing buildings. The building is part sunk into the ground to reduce the height to the surrounding area. The sports center is divided into three dilatations objects: Technical facilities, sports hall, bowling with squash and gym.

Laboratory exercise of the biometric access control system

This thesis deals with the topic of biometric access control. The theoretical part of the thesis first describes electronic access control in general, followed by access control based on human biometric traits. Legislation and the development of biometric control representation in the market are briefly mentioned in this work. Based on the provided components, a panel is designed and manufactured in the practical part. The individual components are implemented in the panel and connected according to the manual. This assembly thus forms a functional system for biometric access control, which will be used as one of the laboratory tasks in educational classes. There is a written method, based on the laboratory task, specifically designed for student and a documentation for the teacher on how to operate this system.

Comparison of the liberalisation of the railway passenger transport market on the example of the Czech Republic and Austria

The subject of this diploma thesis is a comparison of the liberalisation of passenger rail transport on the example of the Czech Republic and Austria. Based on the legislative framework of the European Union, which both countries have to follow not merely in the field of transport policy, the aim of the thesis is to compare the situation in the two neighbouring Central European countries. Regarding the research, literature and other sources, the thesis focuses on a comparative analysis of how the two countries, comparable in terms of size and population, approach liberalisation. In this thesis, I conclude that the liberalization of the EU passenger rail market process in the Czech Republic and Austria through railway packages is undertaken by different methods. Whilst in the Czech Republic the "vertical separation" is used, where the infrastructure manager and carrier are two different subjects, which leads to business competition objectivity, in Austria the infrastructure manager and the carrier remain in one holding arrangement in relation to the subsidiary companies. It is important to analyse both of the approaches continuously, especially with regard to the period of 2023-2033, which is to be the last transitional decade, followed by absolute liberalisation of the passenger rail market....

Variability in selected haematological traits related to gastrointestinal microbiota in parrots (Psittaciformes)

Thousands of parrots all over the world suffer from illnesses and medical complications that can result from interactions between their immune system and bacteria in their digestive tract. The aim of this master's thesis is to understand the link between symptoms of these medical issues, the composition of blood and gastrointestinal microbiota in parrots. Using the hematological methods, 198 blood samples representing 53 parrot species were analyzed. The composition of microbiome was defined by combination of a molecular approach using bacterial 16S rRNA gene sequencing in 132 fecal samples, 12 intestine samples, 228 cloacal swabs and 236 beak swabs representing in total 61 parrot species and a diagnostic approach by psittacine fecal Gram's stain method. Significant association of hematological parameters with individual, environmental and clinical factors was observed, as well as its considerable interspecific variability. Absolute heterophile and lymphocyte counts have been shown more useful for infectious and autoimmune disease monitoring than H/L ratio. Relative numbers of basophiles were the best indicator for behavioral disorders. The Settlement from the Site U silnice (Plaňany, District Kolín) in Context of the Surrounding Settlements of Roman Period

This thesis presents archaeological finds from the site "U silnice", in municipality Plaňany (district Kolín), where a settlement from roman period has been found during excavations in 2016 and 2017. An assemblage of excavated finds consists mostly of ceramic, animal bones and daub. The aim of the thesis is to describe qualitative and quantitative attributes of these finds. Results will be used to validate and compare properties of individual archaeological contexts. Main goal is to place the site into regional network of settlements and cemeteries from roman period. Potential of the site rises from the fact that it is the only settlement from roman period excavated by modern methods in the region and therefore it represents a valuable source of new information. At first I had to process all newspaper articles within last 20years concerning Jan Železný. I used a newspaper called Mladá Fronta (later renamed MF Dnes) as my main and only source. I processed number of articles published each year, categorized them according to set criteria and traced a frequency ofvarious journalists reporting on Jan Železný during last 20 years. Secondly, I processed atletic career ofJan Železný in particular years and Jan Železný added a brief commentary on each year. Thirdly, I focused on processing Železný's replies made during our accurately driven conversation. Finally, I worked out a detailed surnmary ofJan Železný's biggest sports successes and peďormances. Results: In this diploma thesis I managed to monitor, describe and evaluate Jan Železný's extraordinary sports career with the help of available documents and information.
