Researching the Relationship Between Built Environment and Transport: Theory, Methodology, and Specifics for the Czech Context
Bittner, Jan
The paper provides a theoretical framework and methodological overview for follow-up research on the relationship between the built environment and transport behaviour in the Czech context. Divided into four parts, the paper begins by describing the urgent need for such research. The second part reviews fundamental transport modelling methods commonly used in research on the relationship between the built environment and transport. The methodical concept of Activity-Based Modelling (ABM) is selected for further elaboration through a comprehensive diagram. Individual parts of the diagram are grouped and described. In the third part of the paper, the ABM concept is derived into a quantitative methodology suitable for qualitative research on the built environment and transport. Typical dependent and independent variables are listed. Finally, the fourth part of the paper discusses ABM method limits and requirements in the Czech context.
SCARA control system
Bittner, Jakub ; Burian, František (referee) ; Benešl, Tomáš (advisor)
This thesis shows the process of restoring a SCARA type robot, which has had its controller destroyed. The signal cables as well as the power ones were rewired so that it would be able to create new control system for robot arm. New control system is created using devices from Beckhoff company. For that identification of motors is required. After that PC control is programmend to control every single axis of manipulator, with this program vizualizations of controll elements are created. In the end linear interpolation of movement between points is implemented.
Comparative analysis of notched machine parts using photoelasticity and FEM
Bittner, Jiří ; Náhlík, Luboš (referee) ; Vaverka, Michal (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with comparative analysis of stress and strain of notched machine parts using photoelasticity and finite element method (FEM). Experimental and numerical comparative analyses were performed on three models: hook, J shaped bracket and 3-point bending beam with notch. Equivalent stresses, principal stresses and its directions were analyzed. The emphasis is given on photoelasticity, the theory and principles of photoelasticity are described in more detail. FEM analysis was performed using software ANSYS 11. The work presented includes the preparation of polariscope in the laboratory of Institute of machine and industrial design in order to use it in tutorials focused on experimental stress analysis using photoelasticity.
Coating methods for cutting tools
Bittner, Jan ; Sedlák, Josef (referee) ; Humár, Anton (advisor)
The present bachelor study prescribes process of coating deposition, namely PVD a CVD technology. In the review, new turning grades of market leading hardmetal cutting tools producers are listed. Further or, some of new developments in field of coating technology are mentioned
Building control systems
Bittner, Jakub ; Janík, Daniel (referee) ; Fiedler, Petr (advisor)
The objectives of this thesis are creating laboratory equipment and laboratory manual forteaching. First the basics of inteligent electrical instalation based on KNX standard aredescribed. The description include comunication and topology of such electrical instala-tion. Then the creation of laboratory equipment is described as well as programming ofused devices. The equipment will be used for teaching electrical systems. Last part ofthesis includes laboratory manual.
Accuracy of the European GNSS for the Civil Aviation
Bittner, Jan ; Vosecký, Slavomír (referee) ; Ptáček, Pavel (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with a positioning accuracy of global positioning system GPS and satellite augmentation system EGNOS. My thesis describes the procedure for investigation of the errors in previously mentioned global navigation satellite systems according to L10 regulation and further on an elaboration is worked out in more detail far beyond the requirements of this regulation. In the practical part, an assessment of errors on a real data sample is done, the errors are measured with using a static observation, and later a discussion is carried out on the achieved results.
Advanced SCARA robot control system

The signal cables as well as the power ones were rewired so that it would be able to create new control system for robot arm. New control system is created using Beckhoff devices. For that identification of motors is required. After that PC control is made which will allow further applications for this robot.
Validation of mitochondrial localization and essentiality of prioritized proteins assigned to the tripartite attachment complex in the protozoan parasite Trypanosoma brucei
BITTNER, Jacqueline
During this thesis the localization of the prioritized proteins Tb927.11.13600, Tb927.11.14570, Tb927.4.840 and Tb927.6.4540 and their connection to the tripartite attachment complex of the protozoan parasite Trypanosoma brucei was examined to verify previous annotations found on the TrypTag database. Additionally, the essentiality of the prioritized proteins was evaluated.
Loyalty and dedication of employees in pharmacy in relation to evaluation and remuneration
Bittner, Josef
(AJ): The work entitled "Loyalty and dedication of pharmacy staff in relation to evaluation and remuneration" deals with the issue of maintaining the satisfaction and loyalty of employees in pharmacy, specifically in pharmacy networks. It focuses on finding the relationship between satisfaction, loyalty and the form of management and remuneration. The qualitative questionnaire survey helps to find those aspects of maintaining loyalty and satisfaction that can be developed and strengthened by strategic management in such a professional sector.
