Simulation of Unmanned Aircrafts in a Virtual Environment
Lindtner, David ; Lázna, Tomáš (referee) ; Gábrlík, Petr (advisor)
The master thesis deals with the issue of simulation of unmanned aircraft missions in a virtual environment. The aim of the work is to demonstrate basic and more advanced autonomous aerial missions in the simulated environment Gazebo - ROS 2. The work emphasizes the stability of the software solution and the stability of the communication between critical components of the aerial mission.
Cybernetic applications against COVID-19
Hyhlík, Pavel ; Lázna, Tomáš (referee) ; Chromý, Adam (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with possible solutions of the COVID-19 crisis, with the help of knowledge in the field of cybernetics. It describes problems that cause spread of the disease, precautions that have been made and possibilities for improvement of their efficiency using this specialization, or also new solutions. The advantages and disadvantages of particular solutions and their effect on spread will be analysed as well. A system for spacing monitoring is chosen and constructed from them.
Public Transportation Lines classification by GNSS data
Pizur, Jaroslav ; Lázna, Tomáš (referee) ; Jílek, Tomáš (advisor)
The subject of this thesis is digitalization of bus transportation. The input is represented by a sequence of GNSS data which are transformed to the OpenStreetMap format. Doing so, it is enriched by the information OpenStreetMap format provides and it gains its positional advantages as well. Then this thesis deals with ways by which one can detect bus lines from this general sequence of GNSS coordinates. A bus line is recognized as a repeating trajectory, which satisfies criteria derived from its expectable or defined characteristics. A few clustering solutions are proposed and tested for their performance. On the basis of this testing, there is one solution chosen as the best performing one, to be the proposed solution of this thesis. The overall output will therefore be formed by automatic mapping of bus lines with no theoretical area limit and with minimum manual intervention needed. It lays the foundations for various intelligent real-time processes to be implemented as well as allowing for infrastructure to be processed for the statistics purposes or urban planning.
Automated measurements of body temperature against COVID-19
Roman, Matej ; Lázna, Tomáš (referee) ; Chromý, Adam (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the development of an open source software capable of automatic face detection in an image captured by a thermal camera, followed by a temperature measuring. This software is supposed to aid in the COVID-19 pandemics. The developed software is independent of used thermal camera. In this thesis, I am using TIM400 thermal camera. The implementation of the face detection was achieved by an OpenCV module. The methods tested were Template Matching, Eigen Faces, and Cascade Classifier. The last-mentioned had the best results, hence was used in the final version of the software. Cascade Classifier is looking for the eyes and their surrounding area in the image, allowing the software to subsequently measure the temperature on the surface of one's forehead. One can therefore be wearing a face mask or a respirator safely. The temperature measuring works in real time and the software is able to capture several people at once. It then keeps a record of the temperature of each measured individual as well as the time of the measurement. The software as a whole is a part of an installation file compatible with the Windows operating system. The functionality of this software was tested – the video recordings are included in this thesis.
Robotic Measurement Of Gamma Radiation
Lázna, Tomáš
This paper presents advanced robotic platform for radiation measurement. Radiation mapping and lost source localization algorithms are suggested. The latter is based on following the intensity gradient. A method for interpolation of the source coordinates is described. Applicability of the algorithms is supported by realization of experiments with real radiological sources.
Localization Of Gamma Radiation Sources
Lazna, Tomas
The paper describes a method for acquiring and processing data concerned with a radiation situation in a pre-defined region of interest with a goal of localizing point sources present in the region. The acquisition underlies the robotic platform Orpheus-X4 equipped with a precise navigation module and gamma radiation detectors, a path planning involves Boustrophedon decomposition. The processing is based on the Gauss-Newton method, a contribution of the paper consists in a way to provide the method correct input data. Introduced algorithms were verified experimentally. Although not all sources can be found using the chosen equipment, in case of successful localization the accuracy is not worse than 0.1 m.
Programming of an Educational Robotic Manipulator
Lichosyt, David ; Burian, František (referee) ; Lázna, Tomáš (advisor)
The thesis in theoretical part is about inner arrangement of ROS platform and principles behind ROS Industrial, Moveit and image processing. In its practical part is this theoretical knowledge applied on robotic manipulator Fanuc LR Mate 200iD/4S, its controller Fanuc 30iB Mate and industrial camera to create system for moving pieces across the board like in game name checkers.
Automatic testbed for opponent sensors of minisumo robots
Radvanský, Martin ; Kopečný, Lukáš (referee) ; Lázna, Tomáš (advisor)
Aim of this bachelor thesis is the design and creation of an automated testbed for measuring changes in the detection characteristics of IR sensors under the influence of external light interference. The measurement is performed in the simulation of daylight, artificial lighting and IR interference. Part of this work is the creation of a decision system for evaluating sensors depending on their properties, for use in minisumo competitions.
Exoskeleton design
Štancl, Jan ; Lázna, Tomáš (referee) ; Kopečný, Lukáš (advisor)
The bachelor paper „Exoskeleton design“ deals with development of prosthetic exoskeleton of index finger. The exoskeleton is for patient who lost the distal and middle articles of the index finger. The exoskeleton consist of three articles. Distal and middle articles are powered by one linear actuator, proximal article is passive. The articles are mechanically connected to each other. The rotary potenciometer senses the bend angle at the MP joint, which corresponds to the desired position of the exoskeleton. Feedback is provided by optic gate that senses the engine revolutions.
Sketchup visualization of statrionery robots
