LiDAR Data Filtering for Mobile Robot Navigation in the Outdoor Environment
Janech, Tomáš ; Horeličan, Tomáš (referee) ; Gábrlík, Petr (advisor)
To use robots outdoors it is required for the robot to be aware of the terrain traversability, be it complexity or the surface material itself. This thesis goes in depth about detection and filtration methods for surfaces, based on semantic image segmentation. Thesis also discusses some methods of 3D point projection, PointCloud filtration algorithms and their effectiveness.

Virtual environment for visualization and simulation in mobile robotics
Pár, Filip ; Cihlář, Miloš (referee) ; Gábrlík, Petr (advisor)
The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to get acquainted with the ROS2 framework. Furthermore, this thesis describes the detailed procedure of creating robot models of the ÚAMT workplace for the Rviz visualization tool and the Gazebo simulation environment. Subsequently, the thesis describes the procedure of creating a two-dimensional map for navigation purposes and a three-dimensional model of a part of the ÚAMT workplace for the use in the Gazebo simulation environment.
LiDAR-based Indoor Self Localization and Mapping
Minařík, Jakub ; Gábrlík, Petr (referee) ; Ligocki, Adam (advisor)
This thesis introduces the problem of simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) with focus on the use of a 3D LiDAR sensor. Firsly is written an introduction to SLAM itself and explained graph-based SLAM and dense map representation. The two most common point cloud alignment algorithms ICP and NDT are described. Then research of existing projects solving this problem is carried out. Described projects are all open-source and most of them support the ROS system. One of the described projects, Optimized SC-F-LOAM is explained in detail. Thesis describes it's odometry FLOAM and connection between it and graph optimization with loop closure. For loop closure is used descriptor ScanContext. Then it is presented design for implementing choosen project on offline and online datas from indoor. In last chapters is described proces of implementing and tuning project and at the end results of using said project in indoors are presented.
Localization of the medical working tool on the patient's body
Charvát, Jakub ; Gábrlík, Petr (referee) ; Chromý, Adam (advisor)
The aim of the thesis is to create a system that will assist doctors in localizing and relocalizing positions on the human body. The considered use-case is the dermatological diagnosis of skin diseases. The thesis includes the design and implementation of a localization system for a medical instrument and a demonstration application. The system stores positions on a unique 3D model of a specific patient taken by a 3D scanner. According to the tests performed in the last part of the thesis, the proposed system can localize positions on the human body with accuracy in units of millimeters.
Simulation of Unmanned Aircrafts in a Virtual Environment
Lindtner, David ; Lázna, Tomáš (referee) ; Gábrlík, Petr (advisor)
The master thesis deals with the issue of simulation of unmanned aircraft missions in a virtual environment. The aim of the work is to demonstrate basic and more advanced autonomous aerial missions in the simulated environment Gazebo - ROS 2. The work emphasizes the stability of the software solution and the stability of the communication between critical components of the aerial mission.
System for autonomous racetrack mapping
Soboňa, Tomáš ; Gábrlík, Petr (referee) ; Kopečný, Lukáš (advisor)
The focus of this thesis is to theoretically design, describe, implement and verify thefunctionality of the selected concept for race track mapping. The theoretical part ofthe thesis describes the ORB-SLAM2 algorithm for vehicle localization. It then furtherdescribes the format of the map - occupancy grid and the method of its creation. Suchmap should be in a suitable format for use by other trajectory planning systems. Severalcameras, as well as computer units, are described in this part, and based on parametersand tests, the most suitable ones are selected. The thesis also proposes the architectureof the mapping system, it describes the individual units that make up the system, aswell as what is exchanged between the units, and in what format the system output issent. The individual parts of the system are first tested separately and subsequently thesystem is tested as a whole. Finally, the achieved results are evaluated as well as thepossibilities for further expansion.
Aerial Environmental Mapping in Reconnaissance Robotics
Gábrlík, Petr ; Duchoň,, František (referee) ; Mazal, Jan (referee) ; Žalud, Luděk (advisor)
Letecká fotogrammetrie v oblasti bezpilotních systémů představuje rychle rozvíjející se obor nalézající uplatnění napříč nejen průmyslovými odvětvími. Široce rozšířená metoda nepřímého georeferencování založená na vlícovacích bodech sice dosahuje vysoké přesnosti a spolehlivosti, v některých speciálních aplikacích nicméně není použitelná.
Localization with Optical Markers in Mobile Robotics
Vítek, Filip ; Jílek, Tomáš (referee) ; Gábrlík, Petr (advisor)
The problems of mobile robotics includes, for example, method of navigation or positioning of mobile robot. This thesis deals with one of the many posibilities, which is the use of optical markers. The first part of this thesis is recherche about implementation of optical markers and the result is slection of the ArUco library. Under the open source license is available program library for the detection of these markers, which was used for measurement. The second part of thesis is concerning with making and adjusting program equipment and preparation or construction others necessary utilities. Then the mesurement was made, which was mainly focused on accuracy and success of detection. The results may be viewed in graphs and summarized in coclusion.
Localization and Navigation of Tello Unmanned Aircraft
Panský, Michal ; Chromý, Adam (referee) ; Gábrlík, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the design of a suitable solution to control the unmanned aircraft Ryze Tello for use in autonomous missions. Its content is to familiarize and test all available SDKs and all the features they offer. Introduction to the location and navigation of robots in indoor spaces. Then there is described ROS and its implementation for the problem using the available SDK with instructions for installation and launch of the practical part. At the end of the work are displayed data obtained during the unmanned aircraft flight and the structure of the communication system, a description of the problems encountered during testing and a discussion of possible extension to this solution.
