Integrating physical activities during lessons in elementary schools

(anglicky): The bachelor's thesis deals with the physical activity of pupils of younger school age during classes at elementary school. In the theoretical part, it deals with the definition of terms such as physical activity and its meaning, kinesthetic learning style, types of physical activity during teaching, physical activity in individual subjects, some examples of research related to physical activity that have taken place are also mentioned. In the research part, the methods that were used in the research and its description are presented. The research consisted of a questionnaire survey and interviews with teachers from the Děvínek Community School. The aim of the bachelor's thesis was to find out which physical activity teachers use most often, whether they observe changes in student results when introducing physical activities into lessons, for what reason they assign it, or for what reasons teachers do not practice physical activity in lessons. At the beginning of the research, elementary school teachers will be approached to fill out a questionnaire. After that, I conducted an interview with the teachers from the Community School. These results are recorded in graphs for clarity. My conclusions and evaluation of the research are written at the end of the bachelor's thesis.
The benefit of teaching in tandem to education

(in English): The thesis is focusing on tandem teaching, which builds on teaching methods of supported cooperation of a teacher and an assistant. In the tandem method, there are two teachers who can also lead the teaching separately. The work consists of the theoretical part and the practical part. The main research objective of the thesis is to find out how teachers percieve tandem teaching, what are the advantages and disadvantages of this teaching method and, above all, what benefits it has for the pupil. The practical part of the work will be carried out through a combined research, primarly using a quantitative anonymous questionnaire aimed at teachers, containing both closed and open questions and then qualitative research with teachers in the form of interviews. The theoretical part of the work will focus on development of tandem teaching, on modern alternative schools and pragmatic pedagogy. Of course on the approximation of tandem teaching, its characteristics, methods, financing and we will also look at projects that support tandem teaching.
Teaching assistant and the importance of his work from the perspective of teachers at different levels and types of schools

(in English): The diploma thesis is focused on work of teaching assistants at various types of schools and their cooperation with teachers. The thesis is divided into theoretical and empirical part. The theoretical part deals with the personality of the teaching assistant, his personal prerequisites for work and qualification requirements. It also explains the possibilities, strategies and methods of cooperation used in the interaction of teaching assistant and teacher. Attention is also paid to the clarification of basic terms related to the solved issue. The empirical part describes the methodology of research and the interpretation of obtained data within the research survey. The research was carried out by using the method of questionnaires and semi- structured interviews.
School educational alternative: finding your own way

The topic of the bachelor's thesis is School educational alternative: finding your own way. In the theoretical part, the bachelor's thesis focuses on the differences between alternative and usual institutions. Furthermore, the thesis deals with the concept of alternative education, community schools and describes the types of alternative institutions. The empirical part of the bachelor thesis includes detailed information about concrete instance of an alternative school, Koventinka. The main purpose is to bring closer a specific community school that has decided to look for its own way in education. Koventinka focuses on the development of socalled soft skills, the school places great emphasis on them. The thesis contains differences between schools that are and are not registered in the register of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports. Koventinka is not in the register. In the thesis is described what Koventinka relies on an exact schedule and how the school communicates/cooperates with parents. At the end of the empirical part is attached a questionnaire. Burnout syndrome of after school club teachers

The bachelor's thesis "Burnout syndrome of after-school club teachers" deals with the issue of burnout syndrome among after school club teachers. The theoretical part is focused on clarifying the concept of burnout syndrome and the factors that most often affect the occurrence of the syndrome, especially the social climate. The practical part aims to find out what is the incidence of burnout syndrome among after-school club teachers. The survey was conducted among after-school club teachers in the Czech Republic by quantitative research with the help of structured questionnaires on the burnout syndrome and the social climate of the school. The bachelor's thesis deals with the effects of stress and stressors on grammar school students in relation to the graduation exam. The focus is also on coping strategies, that are being used by students for the sake of stress management. In the theoratical part, key findings, approaches and specifics of the concerned fields are being introduced, on which basis the reasearch is carried out. The research's subject is a description of the perception of stress, stressors and coping strategies from the point of view of former grammar school students. The data collection method is a questionnaire. The findings of the research are being presented in the empirical part of the thesis, where they are being further discussed. Problem behavior of a child in kindergarten

(in English): The diploma thesis "Problem behavior of a child in kindergarten" deals with the issue of the presence of this phenomenon in preschool children's classes and possible solutions from the pedagogue's point of view. The work is divided into two parts: theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part, we can read a lot of fundamental theoretical knowledge about the preschool child's period, about the specifics of child development and about social and emotional development, which is fully related to eventual problem behavior. Using the definition of physiological development, i.e. natural difficulties in the area of behavior and actions of preschool children, we can outline the differentiation of long-term undesirable behavior - problem behavior that is manifested by inappropriate reactions to stimuli, such as impulsivity, aggression and defiance. After clarifying the characteristics of individual issues, we are further offered options on how to approach negative manifestations and solve them in such a way as to achieve positive changes through traditional pedagogical methods in terms of curricular documents, a pedagogical support plan and with the use of school counseling facilities. This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of critical thinking and ways of its development and integration into primary school lessons. The aim of the thesis is to describe the extent to which critical thinking is included in the curriculum in primary schools, whether it is given sufficient attention and why we should pay attention to it in the 21st century. Part of this theoretical work are also semi-structured interviews with teachers. This thesis includes the definition of the concept of critical thinking, basic characteristics or definitions according to the authors. It also includes focusing on the importance of critical thinking for the present, its current integration in the FEP, including methods to add it to teaching. Motivation and factors influencing the involvement of teachers in further education

The diploma thesis deals with the motivation for further education of pedagogical staff and the factors that influence this motivation. The work is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part contains general knowledge about adult education, further education of teachers, forms of education. The practical part evaluates the questionnaire on issues of motivation and factors that affect the participation of teachers in further education. According to the evaluated questionnaire, the interest of teachers in participating in further education was found. What type of further education they participate in most often, what is the most common motivation or, conversely, what are the barriers to participation in further education of pedagogical staff. The established hypotheses and answered research questions are verified.
