Communication Activities of Company Berliner Stadtreinigung in Years 2010-2011. Case Study with Regard to Perception of Brand Pražské služby

The thesis deals with the case study of Berlin's public cleansing company Berliner Stadtreinigung which communication campaign has changed the modern history of German marketing communication. The first chapter describes characteristic features of this long-term campaign as well as its historical development and integration into the complete advertising, medial and creative strategies. To verify the declared effectiveness of the campaign the author carries out an own survey presented in the second chapter, It examines the knowledge and perception of both BSR's brand and communication activities. The secondary goal of the survey is a situational comparison with the Czech market, resp. the company Pražské služby. Its selected communication activities are introduced and evaluated it the third chapter, too. Finally, the thesis comes up with recommendations how to improve the existing communication of Pražské služby in order to maximize its effectiveness.

The death of L. I. Brežněv and it's reflection in czech newspapers

Bachelor thesis "The Death of L.I. Brezhnev and its Representation in the Czech Contemporary Press" illustrates the way in which contemporary journals informed the public about the death of Soviet leader Leonid Ilyich Brezhnev in November 1982. Research in this area will include the analysis of three Czechoslovak national newspapers (Rudé právo, Mladá fronta and Svobodné Slovo) and one regional newspaper (Večerní Praha). The reference period of the study is November 1982 (from November 1st 1982 till November 31st 1982). The thesis will firstly analyze the way how contemporary journals wrote about Leonid Brezhnev during the time before his death (particularly we will search for any information in media connected to Brezhnev's deteriorating health condition), secondly it will research what kind of information media provided about Brezhnev's death and subsequent burial. Finally it will describe the image of Leonid Brezhnev presented by media in connection with the above mentioned events. The theoretical part of this thesis presents the personality of Leonid Brezhnev, who was the leader of the Soviet Union since 1964 when he was elected as the First Secretary of the Communist Party until his death in 1982 and it portrays his political career and the cult of his personality in the last years of his life. The Development of Foreign Trade between the People's Republic of China and the United States of America since China's Accession to WTO

The thesis "The Development of Foreign Trade between the People's Republic of China and the United States of America since China's Accession to the WTO" analyzes in detail the trade relations between the People's Republic of China and the United States of America. Since 1978, the trade between the PRC and the US in goods and services has been growing. One of the milestones in the mutual relationship, but also in the development of the Chinese economy, was China's accession to the WTO, which opened to the PRC a non-discriminatory access to world markets. Due to the increasing trade exchange between the PRC and the US, the bilateral relationship has gradually began to take on complexity and first disputes have appeared that had to be addressed in the WTO and through bilateral negotiations. The thesis analyzes trade disputes related in particular to the protection of intellectual property rights, health and safety standards of products, espionage and inadequate fulfilment of the WTO rules. Social Media Communication of Financial Institutions on Example of Era

The bachelor thesis is focused on communication of financial institutions in social media which recently became an important part of marketing communication. At the beginning of this thesis are described specifics of marketing communication in financial sector. The communication of financial institutions requires special attention, mainly because of complexity of provided services which are hard for customers to understand. This fact makes it harder to build a relationship between the provider and the customer. The aim of this thesis was to characterize the brand Era and describe its communication activities. The focus is put on using of communication in social media in order to build a relationship between Era and its customers, considering the activities of competition with Air Bank as the main competitor. Different tools and ways of communication are analyzed and evaluated its efficiency.
The Paris Commune and historiography

The bachelor thesis "The Paris commune and historiography" concerns on case of Paris commune of 1871 and its reflection in work of M. A. Bakunin, K. H. Marx, V. I. Lenin and L. D. Trocký. For this work is used case study method. First part sets Paris commune in historical background of its time and shows conditions in which it acquired power. Second part analyzes key aspects of Commune's life. The last part of thesis researches views of each author and finds out how Commune affected their own theories. For Marx, the Commune was setting of socialist theory into reality. For Lenin and Trocký, it featured inspiration for accomplishment of revolution in Russia. For Bakunin, it was negation of state, how he imagined it.
Linguistic Analysis of the Blog "Módní peklo"

Bachelor thesis "Linguistic Analysis of the Blog Módní peklo" introduces popular Czech blog Módní peklo which critically reflects shortcomings of Czechs in the domain of fashion. The introductory part of the paper contains the definition of the term blog and describes the current status of blogs in the Internet network. The main part of the thesis is divided into two larger units. The first one focuses on the detailed thematic and contentual characteristics of the blog Módní peklo. It describes the history of the blog since its emergence in 2010, including the most important points in its existence. This section also introduces the author of the blog and mentions web platforms that are thematically related to Módní peklo. The second unit brings an analysis of the language which is typical for the blog. The description emphasizes particularly lexicologic and stylistic terms. The described phenomena are exemplified by authentic examples from the blog. The conclusion of the thesis summarizes the findings reached in the previous chapters. This part of the text contains the debate of how the language of the blog affects its popularity among the readers. The thesis includes an interview with the author of the blog and appropriate text and image attachment.
The European Union and the unrecognized states in Georgia

This thesis considers the role of the European Union in dealing with the problem of unrecognized states on the territory of Georgia. The aim of the thesis is to find out which tools the EU employs in solving this problem. Unrecognized states are rejected as partners of the international community, thus they lack the basis for entering international relations, the external sovereignty. Nevertheless, this doesn't prevent them from functioning internally and offering their citizens functions similar to ordinary sovereign states. Since the unrecognized states in Georgia, Abkhazia and South Ossetia, are considered parts of Georgia, this thesis will also examine how the EU employs its tools in Georgia and in the unrecognized entities and the influence of the non-recognition of these states on the engagement of the EU in them. Abkhazia and South Ossetia were created shortly after the collapse of the Soviet Union and the following ethnopolitical conflicts in the South Caucasus. Since then, the unrecognized states have developed and built a national identity which is opposed to the former central state, Georgia. They have become seemingly independent, however, their existence is dependent on several factors, most importantly, the presence of an external patron, in this case Russia. The engagement of the...
