Identification and evaluation of educational needs of vocational subjects teachers at secondary schools of agriculture

The diploma thesis deals with the teachers educational needs of vocational subjects at secondary agricultural schools in the field of continuing professional education. The main goal of the work is to identify, characterize and evaluate these educational needs. The theoretical part of the final thesis is devoted to teachers in the world of education, introduces the further of pedagogical staff and describes the specifics of adult education. The profession of a teacher, pitfalls, pros and cons of the teaching profession is detailed here. The work does not neglect the view of education in various departments of the government and describes, in particular, specific activities implemented in the department of the Ministry of Agriculture in relation to vocational subjects teachers at secondary agricultural schools. The research part is based on the questionnaire survey method, the respondents are teachers of vocational subjects at secondary agricultural schools. The research part is supplemented by interviews with departmental agricultural organizations representatives. The novice teacher of first grade at primary school in practice

The diploma thesis deals with the situation of a beginning teacher, the beginning of a teacher 's practice. The theoretical part explains the concept of teacher, describes his profession, and mentions his role and career, including burnout. The goal of the thesis is to find out what the beginning teachers face the most. That´s why the theoretical part also mentions possible problem areas when entering the profession - classroom climate, authority, educational and teaching problems and institutions, which the teacher cooperates with. The practical part presents the results of mixed research carried out by the method of a questionnaire and through a semi-structured interview. The results show that the beginning teacher most often encounters problems that do not relate to his primary activity, work with children, but to the area of administration. The beginning teacher often spends more time with the administration rather that with the best way of passing on the curriculum to the students. Furthermore, the identified problems include the ability to set properly the boundaries between personal and professional life, work properly with time and more difficult students and beginning teachers are often afraid to ask someone for advice. The positive finding is that most beginning teachers are satisfied with their job and do not consider leaving the profession.

The thesis deals with undergraduate training of kindergarten teachers. The aim is to compare the issue of preparation for the profession of kindergarten teacher from different perspectives in historical and international comparisons and reflect and analyze the needs of the profession towards initial training kindergarten teachers on the basis of theoretical concepts and statements from practice. The reaserch aims to analyze the curriculum of initial training kindergarten teachers at selected faculties of education in the Czech Republic, analyze and reflect on meeting the needs of the profession in these faculties and learn how to evaluate their students' level of development of their professional competence at the beginning of undergraduate training and at the end. Research design is a multi-case study. Working with reaserch respondents has a longitudinal character. Methods were used quantitative and qualitative methodology - questionnaire, rating scales, content analysis of documents, interview and focus group. Problems of beginning teachers of primary education

The main aim of the theoretical part is to introduce difficulties of the teaching profession, such as the problems that are encountered today, when they are available for work and the challenges that they are not prepared for. With the aid of literature, I define the term 'beginning teacher' and I introduce the most common types of problems that arise. Furthermore, I focus on the possible support system for beginning teachers. The empiric part presents the assessment of the results from completed questionnaires and the dialogues with the beginning teachers of primary education. In my prepared and structured questionnaire and dialogue, I focus on the problems, which they might have struggled with or are still struggling with, such as if they feel that university was not able to prepare them adequately for their future job. In addition to this, I aim one's attention to the support system, which was provided to them, if they had an opportunity of a mentor. I am interested in parent's reaction when they found out that the new class teacher of their children is a fresh university graduate. Lastly, if they had a big problem to gain children's authority. This diploma thesis deals with the issues of age management and its introduction at elementary and secondary schools in the Czech Republic. The aim of the thesis is to propose measures to support the employability of persons in the 56+ age group in education. The thesis is based on the secondary data obtained from the docu-ment Gender Issues in Education, published on the Web of the Ministry of Educa-tion, Youth and Physical Education. These measures were proposed to promote the work ability and maintain the employability of teachers aged over 56 years based on an analysis of the age composition of primary and secondary school teachers, the specifics of the teaching profession and the interviews with the heads of schools.
Motivation and Barriers to Continuing Education of Secondary School Teachers

The diploma thesis is theoretically empirical and deals with the current topic of motivation and barriers to further education of teachers at secondary schools in the Czech Republic. The author chose this topic, because it considers the topic to be important and included in the list of priority objectives of the Ministry of Education, which has long sought to increase professionalism and improve the working conditions of the teachers. In the first chapter there is a definition of the teaching profession according to professional literature, including the specifics of a secondary school teacher. It also focues on further education in the context of lifelong learning, especially in relation to further education of teachers. The main part of the chapter deals with the motivation of pedagogical staff for further education. The theoretical part ends with a chapter devoted to the career and professional development of teachers. This thesis deals with professional preparation, evaluation of advantages and disadvantages of teaching profession, and professional perspectives. The aim of the work is a comprehensive study describing the professional preparation of future preschool teachers at the level of secondary and higher education, and the interpretation of data obtained by research. The thesis has a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part deals with the definition of basic concepts related to professional training, professional perspectives and teaching profession. The practical part is aimed at acquiring and interpreting attitudes, assessing the professional preparation and professional perspectives of pupils and students. A questionnaire was used to analyze the data obtained. Part of the work is also the interpretation of results, recommendations for practical training and overall conclusion.
