Káčerová, N. The shopping behaviour of men in the fashion market. Diploma the-sis. Brno: Mendel University, 2020 The diploma thesis deals with the behaviour of men in the fashion market, more specifically in the clothing market. The work maps the behaviour of men while shopping for clothes, discusses the differences between male and female behaviour in fashion market and identifies a typical male customer in the fashion market. Subsequently, the thesis gives recommendations and suggestions for fashion sellers based on information obtained from primary and secondary re-search. Primary data are based on questionnaire surveys and in-depth interviews. The questionnaire survey was participated by 504 respondents, of which 162 were men and 342 women. In-depth interviews were conducted with nine men. The research revealed areas that sellers should focus on if they want to increase the comfort and satisfaction of male customer during shopping.

Title: Occurrence and prevention of the most common injuries in men's basketball Objective: To identify and analyse typical injuries that affect basketball players and suggest exercises that can contribute to their prevention. Tasks: The first step will be a thorough study of the available literature on the topic. This includes scholarly books, articles in peer-reviewed journals, relevant websites and other resources. The aim is to get a comprehensive overview of the subject and gather relevant information for further work. Based on the literature search, clear and specific objectives of the thesis will be established. The objectives should be clearly formulated and should aim at answering the key questions of the topic. From the formulated objectives, specific questions to be addressed and hypotheses to be tested in the thesis will be identified. Hypotheses should be formulated as statements that will be subsequently tested against the data collected. A non- standardized questionnaire will be designed to collect data from the respondents (players and coaches). The questionnaire will contain questions relevant to the research questions and hypotheses of the thesis. Difference in approaches to prevention and therapy of male and female football players with ACL injury - research paper

Title: Differences in Approaches to Prevention and Therapy for Female and Male Football Players with ACL Injuries - A Systematic Review Objective: The main aim of this thesis is to investigate whether there are different approaches to the prevention and treatment of ACL injuries in male and female football players. Methods: The thesis is prepared as a theoretical text in the form of a systematic literature search using PubMed, Web of Science and PEDro databases. The first part of the thesis contains the current status of the studied issue, theoretical background and treatment options for ACL injuries. The second part is descriptive-analytical in nature. It contains an analysis of the studies included in the thesis. Results: After the search, 4 studies met the criteria. Each of them focused on injury prevention, but unfortunately none of them investigated physiotherapy as such. However, the evaluation of the studies shows that both men and women use the same prevention programmes in football, which can reduce the risk of injury by up to 50 %. A limitation of the search is that most of the studies used did not examine the effect of prevention on both sexes simultaneously. Public opinion on the role of a man as a teacher in kindergarten

The goal of this thesis is to find out what is the public opinion on man as teacher in kindergarten in South Bohemian Region by using a quantitative method. This bachelor thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part contains the definition of kindergarten, a chapter about what teacher must know to work with kids, statistics of men in kindergarten in the Czech Republic and abroad, a summary of interviews with men who works as kindergarten teachers, thanks to MŠMT, and other researches on similar topics. The practical part includes research and its results, along with graphs.

Gender Stereotypes in Gaming Environment

Předmětem této bakalářské práce je analýza genderových stereotypů ve vypravěčské linii a designu videoher. Jsou zde také vyjmenovány klíčové historické momenty pro zásadní pochopení videoherního průmyslu a přítomnosti genderových stereotypů v něm. Dává příležitost vidět, jak události v reálném světě a veřejné mínění ovlivňují videohry a vytvářejí nebo snižují genderové stereotypy v nich. Teze nabízí vhled do problematiky nadměrné sexualizace mužů i žen, včetně toho, jak může ovlivnit vnímání sebepojetí u různých lidí. Otázka sexualizace je posuzována z několika pohledů, mezi nimiž existuje kulturní rozdíl mezi východními a západními zeměmi. V této práci je navíc představen seznam stereotypních genderových rolí, do nichž jsou lidé často zařazováni. Přináší světlo na důsledky, které z rolí vyplývají.

Eating disorders in boys nad young men

The aim of this work is to summarize current knowledge of eating disorders in men. The theoretical part is trying to describe the key areas in which eating disorders differ between the sexes. Among the large number of small differences we can see also some major differences, especially radically different concept of the male ideal body image that causes most of the other differences. Therefore, the work paid attention to muscle dysmorphia, which occupies an important place on this issue. Although it is a multidisciplinary topic, thesis tries to target the areas related to psychology. The practical part is the research proposal, which aims to map a number of symptoms of eating disorders and muscle dysmorphia, body dissatisfaction and frequency of risk behaviors among college Czech non-clinical populations of men. It also seeks to describe some other relationships among these variables.
