Virtual commissioning of wax model gluing for investment casting
Maňák, Juraj ; Bražina, Jakub (referee) ; Szabari, Mikuláš (advisor)
The thesis deals with the virtual commissioning of a robotic workstation for gluing wax models for investment casting. The theoretical part describes the concept of Industry 4.0 and its main pillars, followed by the technology of investment casting and the entire process from wax mold to casting. The next part summarizes the knowledge of robot programming methods and virtual commissioning. This is followed by a chapter analyzing the current methods of gluing and describing the individual components of a universal workstation. The practical part begins with the design of the robotic workstation, including components such as positioners and grippers, and their subsequent description. The next part focuses on creating a simulation in the Process Simulate software, including the definition of kinematic structures and operations. The thesis also describes the process of virtual commissioning, the use of Robot Studio for real feedback, and the subsequent creation of PLC and HMI in TIA Portal.
Machine vision for robotic manufacturing systems
Vávra, Daniel ; Bradáč, František (referee) ; Vetiška, Jan (advisor)
This master thesis focuses on creation of program in TwinCAT Vision environment for contour vertices detection on specified object using a camera. Teoretical part focuses on state of the art in the field of machine vision, including hardware components and introduction to image processing. Practical part deals with the program creation, including real assembly of the testing workplace with the camera. This thesis also deals with the robot guidance for object handling, therefore an example of gripper concept for specified object handling is designed. At the end of the practical part the created program is tested. Testing results are part of the digital attachment of this thesis.
Virtual commissioning of a robotic palletizing system
Novák, Tomáš ; Bražina, Jakub (referee) ; Vetiška, Jan (advisor)
Diploma thesis deals with a conceptual design and virtual commisioning of robotic palletizing system. The theoretical part of the diploma thesis deals in the first part of research with the current state of knowledge in the robotics implementation in the industry, definitions of virtual commisioning and softwares needed to make it happen. The second part is focused on the development and proceses of palletization. In the practical part is created a model exercise, described 3 designs of robotic cells, choice of the final design to virtual commision, components design, robot design and gripper design. The main part of the diploma thesis is focused on creating a simulation in software Process Simulate, design of control program and HMI in the interface of software TIA Portal and implementation of robotics programs to Robot Studio. The final result and the validation of virtual commisioning and single purpose machines was recorded and attached in the work attachment.
Design of a Robotic End Effector
Hesina, Ondřej ; Kubela, Tomáš (referee) ; Pochylý, Aleš (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis analyses the possibility of grasping of the object by an industrial robot KUKA KR 16. Gripping object is a plate-shaped cast made from aluminium alloy with inner hole. After analysing the options is selected the most suitable option, designed end effector for bin-picking method and use already have been used grippers in practice.
Manipulation operations with industrial robots
Jašíček, Radek ; Kubela, Tomáš (referee) ; Pochylý, Aleš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with industrial robot grippers. It discusses various types of grippers detailing the electric and pneumatic and comparing them with each other based on technical and economic criteria. Part of this work is an analysis of a material handling operation with industrial robot along with the creation of a control program for this operation.
End Effectors in Robotics
Hradil, Jan ; Kubela, Tomáš (referee) ; Pochylý, Aleš (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis provides a summary of end effectors used in industrial robotics. The classification is made from various points of view, but the most important one is according to the industrial application. Regarding previous condition, an analysis of gripper modules is performed. Those units are representatives of the widest application – manipulation. Further on there is shown a possibility of connection between a gripper and a robot in laboratories of Institute of Production Machines, Systems and Robotics and calculation of gripping forces. This thesis contains a summary of the most used industrial robots and manipulators as well.
Design of virtual model robotic workplace
Chromčík, Adam ; Holub, Michal (referee) ; Vetiška, Jan (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the design of a virtual model of a robotic workplace. Robot and robotic workplaces are researched. Further, the design and safety phases of these workplaces are discussed. A conceptual model of the robotic workplace with robot IRB 4400/60 is designed, which is placed in the machine laboratory C1 of the Institute of Production Machines, Systems and Robotics at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Brno University of Technology. The virtual model is created in Process Simulate 13.0. It is designed to manipulate the dice, weld and operate the vertical machine tool.
Design of a robot gripper
Stoszek, Šimon ; Hůlka, Tomáš (referee) ; Matoušek, Radomil (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis is focused on robotic end-effectors, grippers in particular and is bringing their general overview. The goal of the thesis is to design, assemble and program a three finger gripper. The effector is designed using ROBOTIS Premium building set, especially Dynamixel actuators, obstacle detector and Bioloid frames, 3D printed parts. It is possible to use this three finger gripper in two configurations: centric for grasping spherical objects and parallel for grasping cylindrical objects. Functionality of this end-effector was successfully experimentally verified. Main benefits of the gripper are: its ability to adapt to shape and size of grasped object and to automatically initiate its grasping.
Design of automatic inserting the inserts to the injection moulding machine
Strnad, Jiří ; Dokoupil, Vladimír (referee) ; Pavlík, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the proposal of the liners automated insertion into the injection molding machine form. The task and the new construction requirements are specified in the first part. Further, the analysis of the problematics is performed. There are the possibilities of the orientation, gripping and manipulation with the part described in more details. The second part contains the suggestion of solution options and the structural design of the chosen option that is supplemented by the dimensioning of selected structural elements. The thesis includes the 3D model created in the Autodesk Inventor Professional 2018 application and the drawing documentation of selected construction nodes.
