Architecture Staging Interactions in Space
Krettková, Karin ; Zervan, Marián (referee) ; Mitášová, Monika (advisor)
Architectural space is a staged space; architects use the plan to delineate the interaction of man with space, man with man, and space with space itself. In this way, Architecture becomes a staging oscillating between actual and virtual space. Time is fast and we keep accelerating. Thus, the virtual component of architecture, until recently neglected, is becoming increasingly important. Once again, there is a need to get ducks in a row. Through a critical interpretation of texts, buildings and events, the thesis seeks to find a position, practices and tools of architecture that enable it to embody the ever-metamorphosing spirit of the times. Rather than establishing a canon according to which to construct, I seek to sift the meanings, realities and affirmations of the time that will allow me to realign my point of view, establish a position and prepare myself to enter the world of architecture. The text is composed of three layers. The first is an essay that tries to answer the question through an interpretation of the contemporary social scene and the role of architecture in it: What happened to archi-architecture? The second layer, through the example of the evolution of architectural imagery, addresses the necessity of engaging consciousness in constructing architecture through which we structure the human landscape. The third layer is the form of the work itself, which seeks to find a medium of architecture that would allow to update the discourse and stir the stagnant waters of the present, trapped between the inability of the young generation to read and the necessity of critical reading to develop conscious processes. And what else is architecture but a conscious reorganization of space?
Remote control of low voltage curcuit-breaker
Brtnický, Jiří ; ABB, Stanislav Korčián, (referee) ; Bajer, Arnošt (advisor)
The work deals with design and contruction of the extension module remote control, through which the starter motor is remotely controlled. On the basis of specified input parameters such as size, engine type, engine power, voltage, etc., is given control module design, which includes a control unit (microprocessor) for remote control of motor drive and assessment of motor starters. The work also includes analysis of the problems of mechanical transmission, depending on the management and selection of an engine. This work is finished with the physical realization of a prototype control program by drawing a flowchart and manufacture of printed circuit boards with subsequent recovery and testing.
Hardware Modelling in UGE
Varga, Ladislav ; Očenášek, Pavel (referee) ; Smrčka, Aleš (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to create a plugin for application Universal graphic editor, which will allow users to design a hardware architecture. Design of hardware architecture usualy starts with drawing of block diagrams of system which is being developed. Next step is to transcribe this drawn design into some hardware description language (HDL). Since structure of hardware design written in HDL is modular, i.e. similar to the structure of its block diagram, it's possible to translate block diagram of hardware design into HDL source code. The point of this idea is to get rid of designer's work on re-writing the block diagram into HDL language, as this can be automated. Designed plugin allows users to create block diagrams and new hardware components on different layers and switch between these layers interactively. Modul also implements the translation of drawn diagram into VHDL source code.
System for E-learning Support
Drahoš, Michal ; Eysselt, Miloš (referee) ; Kreslíková, Jitka (advisor)
This project is dealing with creating of system for e-learning support. It describes problematics of e-learning, explains meaning of this term and describes its advantages and disadvantages. The objectives were to create an application suitable for electronic learning, which could illustrate specifications of restrictions of the system objects. This means to create an application, where is explained the problem of OCL in that kind of format, which reacts the structure and the form of application used for e-learning. I meet the program languages of OCL and UML 2.0. I read over the CASE Rational Rose environment and meet the e-learning problem, too. These are the knowledges, which I used while I was creating my e-learning application.
Web Pages Design
Ligas, Denis ; Pavlov, Dušan (referee) ; Dydowicz, Petr (advisor)
My bachelor thesis focuses on the preparation of proposals, which would be used for design of quality web pages for the project of building houses in Martin, town in the central Slovakia. Solution will include diagrams of functional modeling and content predesign of web pages.
Design of class AB audio power amplifier
Hynek, Jiří ; Kratochvíl, Tomáš (referee) ; Brančík, Lubomír (advisor)
his thesis is focused on a proposal of an audio power amplifier of class AB with minimum capacity of 2 x 80 Watt and with a possibility to control the frequency characteristics, volume and balance. An usage of this proposal is wide today. The proposal is designed to be made from common available components. This thesis includes proposal of an acceptable power supply and proposal of an active cooling elements.
Automatic Diagram Layout
Jezný, Lukáš ; Chmelař, Petr (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
Automatic layouts for diagram drawing is described in this paper. Major methods, algorithms, metrics for automatic layouts are introduced in theretical part. Practical part of this work was developing algorithms for automatic layouts of organizational structures and business process model diagrams.
Visualisation of Manufacture Schedules
Luhin, Artsiom ; Kočí, Radek (referee) ; Hrubý, Martin (advisor)
Thesis is focused on creating a web application that visualizes the manufacture schedule in a user friendly way. Most industrial activities are currently trying to maximize the use of production resources, which in turn leads to increased efficiency of production itself. The basic goal of the application is to achieve the mentioned efficiency. The application displays a massive manufacture schedule in the form of a Gantt chart, which can be easily examined and analyzed. The diagram allows various manipulations with its elements: selection of individual sources, scaling of the timeline, display of additional information. The result of the visualization is a comprehensive picture of the planned industrial manufacture.
Realization for Implementation of Information System as ABC Company
Pálka, Ladislav ; MBA, Jan Nečas, (referee) ; Dydowicz, Petr (advisor)
My diploma theses describe the implementation of the production processes into the current infrastructure respecting the ISO 9001:2001 standards in the company ABC a.s. I analyse the existing structure and record the theoretical bases in my theses. I propose the procedure of implementation production process based on the principals.
The Pushdown Automaton Simulator
Graizely, Martin ; Blatný, Petr (referee) ; Bidlo, Radek (advisor)
Visualization often helps with the understanding and allows for a quicker grasp of the problem. This work is aimed on implementation of pushdown automaton simulator. The purpose of the application is to ease understanding of such abstract machine and its abilities, by providing visual design and possibility of algorithm's interactive animation.
