Marketing management of sports brand Nike in the Czech Republic

Title: Marketing management of sports brand Nike in the Czech Republic Objectives: The aim of thesis is to describe and evaluate the current marketing management of sports brand Nike in the Czech Republic based on made qualitative analysis. The next point is to detect strengths and weaknesses. Then in the consequence of obtainable knowledge suggest new procedures and implements in marketing which can be used to improve marketing management of the brand. Methods: In this theses there was used a qualitative analysis (descriptive case study), witch was based on document analysis and interview with an employee of marketing department of company. Results: The results showed that marketing management of sports brand Nike in the Czech Republic is on a high level. This fact is mainly a consequence of its global and stable position on a worldwide market. For the reason, that its daughter company Nike CZECH, s. r. o. has been presented on Czech market since 2011, there are many possibilities to improve its marketing management with respect to local specifics. It contains mainly expansion of official shops in the Czech Republic, extensions of brand series, improvements of a communication strategy, sponsorship, changes in an organisation structure and reviews of a brand success. This thesis is about research of image Nike in Czech Republic by the student of universities. It is finding answers how the brand is perceive in Czech Republic. How people know its products and promotion campaigns. The theory part is mainly about important definitions for my work. Like brand, image or promotion and I write about marketing research in the methodology part Practical part is about marketing research. In this work is used electronic questionary. Some recommendations how to improve the image of Nike are in this work.
The usage of sensory margenting at the point of sale

The bachelor thesis contemplates sensory marketing at the point of purchase with specific focus on its implementation in practice. The first part looks into the psychology of a customer and tries to find reasons for his purchasing decisions. Because more than 80 % of customers decide on a purchase of a product at the point of purchase, the importance of marketing communication at the point of purchase which can influence the impulsive purchase is immense. Moreover, nowadays customers expects a unique experience connected with emotions from shopping. Therefore, the second part focuses on the sense-oriented marketing which is based on emotions. That suggests that in order to draw positive emotions from a customer it is essential to appeal to his emotions. Based on findings included in the part dedicated to sensory marketing, the thesis concentrates on the examples of effective usage of this type of marketing communication in practice. Using a field research, several stores that offer their customers a exceptional experience from shopping are depicted thoroughly.
Celebrity Marketing of Nike, Adidas and Puma in 2014-2017

My bachelor thesis describes the concept of celebrity marketing, which is a tactic featuring well-known personalities to offer an endorsement of a product. I will look into the concept of celebrity marketing and describe what are the criteria that a brand should follow when selecting a suitable celebrity. Moreover, I will outline reasons that lead to growing representation of sportswear companies in the fashion industry. Given the scope of my bachelor thesis, I decided to focus on the female market only, which has been growing much faster than the male market in recent years. To conclude the theoretical part of the bachelor's thesis, I will present several reasons that motivate sportswear companies to further focus on the segment of women's fashion. In the descriptive part, I will introduce Nike, Puma and Adidas brands. I will briefly present the history and current position in the market of each brand. Then I will explain each brand's marketing strategy to target women and name global celebrities that Nike, Puma and Adidas did collaborate with from 2014 to 2017. Skechers company's strategy of marketing communication for the Czech market

Title: Strategy of marketing communication for Skechers on the Czech market Goals: The main objective of my thesis is to create a marketing strategy of communication for the Skechcers brand on the Czech market. This goal is based on identifying the biggest weaknesses of the brand. An important aspect of my thesis is also the comparison and inspiration of selected competitors, which are Nike and Under Armour. The target group of the communication strategy will be Generation Y in the Czech Republic. Methods: The practical part of my thesis, thus qualitative marketing research, was done in the form of an interview with two representatives from Skechers and Under Armour. The interview was centered around a previously prepared questionnaire, which was almost the same for both respondents - the only change was the name of the firm which the respondent represented. During the interview we focused on seven sections, which I discribe more in my thesis. A second method was used for the analysis of electronical documents and materials about existing marketing communications of Skechers and selected competitors. Adidas and Nike Brand Stores Quality Comaprison through Eyes of Customers

Title: adidas and Nike Brand Stores Quality Comparison through the Eyes of Customers Objectives: Mystery Shopping is the instrument used to inspect the quality of adidas and Nike branded stores through the eyes of customers. Subsequently, the selected stores are compared and potential enhancements are proposed. Methods: Mystery Shopping - questionnaire focused on retail. Results: In terms of exterior, as well as interior, the Nike stores are ahead of the ones of adidas as the American brand has always been well-known for trying to initiate positive visual perception. On the contrary, adidas has provided better service quality demonstrated by modesty and higher selling effort from sales assistants towards customers. Also, adidas sellers have been more settled and disciplined. Additionally, adidas stores have worked more properly in terms of overall functioning. When comparing the stores of both brands with those in other world cities (Amsterdam, Berlin, Glasgow, London, New York, Tokyo), Prague stays behind. The goal of the thesis is to generally describe the meaning of company culture and introduce the readers to the company culture of Nike. The beginning of the thesis defines the company culture generally, describes the criteria of a strong company culture, determinants of influence, types of company cultures, company identity, company ethics, typology of company cultures, dimensions of national cultures and model approaches. The second part focuses on the characteristics, history, organizational structure of Nike. At the same time from the half of the second part starts the practical part of the thesis. Where communication within the company, company traditions and rituals and community impact are being researched. At the same time the type of culture is going to be determined. As well as style of work, motivation, evaluation of employees, education and dress code are being researched. The third part consists of survey through a depth interview with one of the senior managers of Nike. In analogy with the statements of Nike's employees an analysis is being made where the strength of Nike's company culture is going to be defined and the awareness of company culture of its employees.
