Jeřábková, Anna ; Poche Kargerová, Jana (advisor) ; Vallin, Petra (referee)
This thesis deals with the matter of listening skill as part of the communication key competence. The author does not target situations when the pupil listens to the teacher's speech, but situations when the elementary school classmates listen to each other. It is based on a long-term scientific discourse on the subject. The practical part, pedagogical action research, is based on theoretical knowledge. It aims to observe progress in communication focusing on listening skills between third-grade pupils, in a class where the author acts as a teacher's assistant. In total three periods of action research maintain a cyclical pattern of problem decsription, action plan, action and analysis. The research is supported by didactic games designed so that the skill of listening can be studied and developed by the pupils themselves. At the...

Mathematical competitions for the youngest pupils
ŘIČICOVÁ, Jana
The aim of the diploma thesis is to develop material for primary school teachers, which can be used to stimulate interest in Mathematics and further develop the youngest pupils' mathematical skills. In the theoretical part, teachers will get acquainted with an overview of domestic (the Czech Republic) and abroad mathematical competitions. These competitions are compared in different perspectives - complexity, typology of tasks, elaboration methods (complete task solution × choice of answer from the offered options). Each competition is briefly described, and it contains suitable motivational, or in some way interesting solved tasks. For each task, the teacher finds a methodological analysis of the solution with commentary. The practical part of the work contains four worksheets (for 2nd to 5th grade), which contain tasks from various competitions. These worksheets were verified at selected primary schools.

DUBSKÁ, Klára
The diploma thesis deals with the issue of the cultivation of mathematical literacy for first-grade primary education pupils. With this aim, several topics, they might encounter outside of school, have been methodically developed. Design research was used to meet the objectives of the work and for proving the functionality of the proposed preparations and then their subsequent modification. During the research, I used methods of observation, interview, questionnaire, and video studies. The theoretical section describes mathematical literacy, in particular, research results and projects to support it. The practical part describes the course of searching for reality-related teaching topics, their processing into preparations for experimental teaching, and verification in practice. The esearch highlights the importance of an educator's self-reflection and the influence of their teaching experience. It demonstrates the difficulty of finding the appropriate topics from ordinary life for adaptation into the tasks for first-grade pupils. As a result of the work, the adjusted verified preparations were created.
