Diploma thesis focuses on the selection and application of appropriate internet marketing tools. It specifies possible fields of B2C promotion on the internet. It analyses chosen company and its existing operations in the field of internet marketing due to recommended procedures and procedures of its competitors. Diploma thesis uses theoretical knowledge and analysis for application of proposed internet marketing strategy and finally compares performances of applied areas of the internet marketing.
Information System Design

This thesis deals with methods of project management, including the evaluation and designing of a custom solution for small development teams with frequent teleworking. The thesis also compares the particular difference between classical predictive and agile software development methods. Based on a theoretical background and current state analysis, the purpose of this work is to design a new information system, which should serve as a SaaS solution, and describe its implementation by the proposed method.
Visualisation of open data and their metadata

The thesis is focused on open data and their metadata visualization. According to specialized literature in field of open data, data visualization and user experience the author prepares redesign of national catalogue of open data. The design is the main objective of the thesis. Particular objective is description of open data itself and their publication followed by comparison of existing instruments used for open data publication and visualization. The redesign can be seen as the main contribution, especially because it takes into account impulses of actual users. Another contribution is comparison of existing open data publication and visualization instruments with recommendation of the most appropriate one. The thesis consists of introduction, theoretical section, practical section and conclusion. The introduction offers an overview of open data visualization which is then analyzed more profoundly in the theoretical part. The practical part focuses on user experience and the data catalogue redesign itself. The open data catalogue redesign is attached.
UX research for digital products

Thesis deals with the UX research from the perspective of UX professionals. The main objective of this thesis is to determine the point of view these professionals on UX research. The first partial objective of this thesis is to identify problem areas and the causes of problems in the context of UX research. The second objective is to identify how the experts assess the impact of efforts carried out in connection with the UX. The third objective is to identify the benefits of conducting UX research. Methods for achieving these objectives are conducting qualitative and quantitative research in the form of interviews and a survey targeted at 164 UX professionals. The contribution of this thesis is capturing of the views and experiences of these professionals on issues, impact assessments and benefits of conducting UX research.
Optimising usability of e-shop Vivantis.cz

The thesis in theoretical part explains the importance of optimizing usability for e-shops and describes the whole process optimization with a focus on user testing and A/B testing. Each of optimization methods is supplemented by examples from case studies. In the practical part thesis is focused on optimizing usability of specific e-shop Vivantis.cz. It shows the practical application of optimization methods with the emphasis on user testing and A/B testing.
The use of responsive design to optimize websites for mobile devices

With an ever-growing group of Internet users connecting via mobile devices it is necessary to prepare websites for a new group of visitors. This thesis presents a comparison of the various methods how to customize a website for mobile devices and detailed description of responsive web design. The thesis also contains a description of the differences in the behavior of mobile and desktop users and their different needs. The output of the practical part of thesis is a new form of website for hotel Zlatý Lev located in Jablonec nad Nisou, which are designed according to the principles and the rules of responsive web design. Thanks to this we will achieve the best user experience on different devices, from desktop computers, tablets and even smartphones.
Proposal of Software Development Methodology with Focus on UX

The main objective of this work is to propose a software development methodology which will reflect both issues -- design of User Experience (UX) and its implementation. The second objective is to compare the current software development methodologies. The third objective is to describe the work environment and the principles of that environment to fully implement this methodology. The fourth objective is to test the methodology in practice and validate its performance on my own startup. The fifth objective is to analyze companies which are focusing on similar product as my startup and their approach to UX development. First I will take look at waterfall methodology and then at modern agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban and Lean management, which are now becoming standard in software development. I will describe issues with the integration of UX into software development. The next section will introduce my own methodology, which is based on Scrum. The methodology consists of general principles of Lean and Agile management and the management, which is sometimes called "freedom at work". Then I will use the proposed methodology on my own startup project and will evaluate its use in practice. In last part I will analyze development process with focus on UX in projects Medium and Facebook. Thesis combines knowledge from Lean and agile management, economy and cognitive science to show the way to succeed in today services with great UX.
Application of the User Experience principles in the process of creating a Web service

The aim of this paper is to analyse and describe the process of designing web services and means of implementations of User Experience principles in its course. The first part defines the terms of User Experience and Web services. The second part describes the actual process of designing web services and methodologies for applying the principles of User Experience in this process. Practical part introduces usage of these methods on real projects of the company LMC, s.r.o. The work was able to describe the optimal procedure for applying the principles of User Experience in the process of designing Web services and describe the role of User Experience designer in this process. The results of this work facilitate understanding their role in the design of Web services and the benefits of optimal processes for the development of the service.
Designing a web application for managing band finance and concert orders

The main aim of the bachelor thesis is to outline a solution of a web application, that would simplify the process of managing band finance and concert orders. Profound understanding of the topic will be based mainly on market research together with an observation of real processes of a Prague-based band called Hot Wings. The third chapter will present the findings in form of a business process models as well as both graphical and functional solution with a list of planned technologies. In the fourth chapter it will be followed by an outline of pricing and marketing strategy. The result of the thesis will serve as an initial research preceding a development of a real application.
User Experience and use knowledge of cognitive science

This bachelor thesis is focused on cognitive psychology and its use in creating web pages. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part explains the concept and the development of cognitive psychology, paid the attention to human processes and their application to the website. In the thesis are mentioned concepts of user experience and usability testing. The practical part is devoted to a home page that is based on principles contained in the thesis. The location of the individual elements on the page are detailed described and the quality of the website is verified by usability test.
