Title: Monitoring of influence of individual segments of a teaching unit of physical education on fitness of girls from seventh grade of elementary school. Aim: The aim of the empirical part is to monitor the proportional representation of the motoric activities during the time given in the lessons of physical education of the seventh grade girls, and along with the chosen methods of testing of these individuals, to prove or disprove possible influence of the composition of the P.E. lessons on the chosen segments of their fitness. Methods: Various methods were used for testing the considered sample. These were the standardized motoric tests (intense forward bend when sitting, place-jump with legs together, endurance in a pull-up, hand grip) which investigate the chosen segments of the fitness. Another method used was the bioimpedance which measures the parameters of body composition. The data were recollected quantitatively and the results were also processed quantitatively by means of statistic parameters, such as arithmetic mean, variation span and determinative deviation. Results: From the results of the work emerged that as far as the chosen motoric activities and their influence on the chosen segments of the fitness are concerned, during the time given only the segment of flexibility in...

Javůrková, Jana ; Kaplan, Aleš (advisor) ; Červinka, Pavel (referee)
Titule: Children's motor skills in track and field (children 6-9 years) Student: Jana Javůrková Supervisor: PhDr. Aleš Kaplan, Ph.D. Aims: One of the objectives of this work was the determination of the physical readiness and motion level of primary school children with the aid of five purposely selected motor tests. The research was conducted among the group of children of athletic prep. The results were compared with tabulated values in literature. Simultaneously was monitored the relationship between performances and measured body weight and hight of monitored children. Using the questionnaire were recorded the attitudes of children to sport, to other physical activities and last but not least, athletic disciplines from the point of view of popularity. Methodology: For the purpose of this thesis was evaluated a total of n = 28 children of primary school age, which were divided into two groups according to age, 6-7 years old (year of birth 2006-2005) and 8-9 years (year of birth 2004-2003). Comparison method was used in five motor tests (jump from the place, throwing the medicine ball over the head, shuttle run the 4 × 10 m, throwing a tennis ball and the depth of standing forward bend) with tabular values in the literature. There was also measured body weight and height and compared with...

Šenk, Svatopluk ; Baláš, Jiří (advisor) ; Vomáčko, Ladislav (referee)
Title: Longitudinal monitoring of anthropometric and physiologic characteristic of the elite sport climber. Work objective: The work objective is monitoring and analyzing of general and the specific physical fitness factors by the world knowing climbers from the longtime aspect. Method: In the process of the longtime monitoring was used the laboratory and the field measuring and testing to reach of the determined objectives. The particular factors of the physical fitness where determined according to aerobic fitness tests (step test to "vita maxima"), power condition tests (handgrip dynamometry, bent arm hang, etc), flexibility test and kinesiology study. To complement, understanding and interpretation of some results were used questionnaire with the opened questions. Results: The elite climber (body mass has been increased from 59,3 kg - age 16,8 years to 62,0 kg - age 19.0 years, body height has been increased from 181,9 cm to 183,4 cm., body fat from 5,3 % to 6,7 %). The climbing performance RP has been increased from climbing difficulty 11+ to 12 UIAA; the results reached at the testing of force abilities (bend arm hang has been increased from 100,0 to 122,0 s; finger hang on 2,5 cm ledge slightly has been decreased from 116,6 s to 111,6 s; relative force of the upper limb, reached at mass,...
Level of coordination abilities of young school age artistic gymnasts
Bendová, Eva ; Hájková, Jana (advisor) ; Mojžíš, Otakar (referee)
This master thesis focuses on the influence that artistic gymnastics has on the coordination abilities of young school age girls. The purpose of this thesis was to use motor tests in the field to compare the level of coordination abilities of young school age artistic gymnasts with that of non-sporting girls. The tests results were subsequently statistically evaluated and commented upon. Another aim of the thesis was to compare the coordination abilities of artistic gymnasts aged 6 - 8 years with those of artistic gymnasts aged 9 - 11 years whilst they were undertaking particular tests. From the tests results it can be seen that artistic gymnastics has a positive effect on the level of the childrens coordination abilities. This finding is supported by the fact that in all tests the artistic gymnasts succeeded better than the non-sporting girls. Of the two groups the older girls (9 - 11 years) were more succesful than the younger group (6 - 8 years). The theoretical part of the thesis describes the Child's Motor Development, emphasizing the relationship between coordination abilities and young school age. It discusses the environment of the branch of sport called "women's artistic gymnastics" and the need for the children's sports training.

TTiittllee:: Utilization of Multidimensional scaling and kinetic tests for evaluation and selection of soldiers to courses of close combat TThhee aaiimm ooff wwoorrkk:: The work deals with the structure scale for evaluation of close combat techniques and the selection of predictors, which will improve the quality of the identification of soldiers with conditions for the successful solution of model situations using the techniques of close combat. MMeetthhoodd:: In the beginning of the study is constructed a scale of criterion variable for evaluating techniques of close combat. The construction of scale was used the model of multidimensional scaling. The data was obtained from eight Czech Army experts of close combat. The scale was verified by generalized and weighted Kappa coefficient. By the kinetic tests was tested the group of 157 professional soldiers from different units. The soldiers were old between 20 and 32. Besides kinetic tests were in the study included the previous experiences with fight activities. To selection of the kinetic tests was used the model of linear regression. The evaluation of predictive power of kinetic tests was made by individual cohorts in prediction cycle. RReessuullttss:: In first part of the study was created scale of criterion variable which contain three...
Development of motor behaviour in the laboratory rat
Vítová, Šárka ; Mareš, Pavel (advisor) ; Bitnar, Petr (referee)
Rats are born at an early stage of neuro-ontogeny, comparable to the foetal stage of the human ontogenesis. Gradual maturation of the nervous system manifests in a changing motor behaviour. Here we review the chronology of motor development in the rat, including ontogeny of sensorimotor reactions, postural control, ground locomotion and swimming. The aim of the thesis is also to take inventory of methods for assesing the motor development in rats. Important intrinsic and extrinsic factors in the ontogeny of motor behaviour are discussed. Evaluation of motoric performance by UNIFITTEST pupils the second grade of primary school Grünwaldova in České Budějovice
ČELIKOVSKÝ, Jakub
The aim of the thesis is to identify and assess the level of motor performance in children II. grade elementary school Grünwaldova in České Budějovice. Sports and unsportsmanlike classes were tested with a total of 81 children (45 boys and 36 girls) from 6 to 9 class at the age of 1115 years in the months of May and June 2014. We investigated motoric performance by standardized test battery UNIFITTEST (660), which includes motoric tests by age and sex of the test. We also conducted anthropometric measurements, from which we determined the individuals category of Body Mass Index (BMI). All classes were compared between themselves in tests and measurement. Overall test results showed that 72,8 % of children had average to above-average performance significantly. This research convinced us that the motoric performance of most tested children is very good.
