The diploma thesis deals with the issue of electronic commerce operation and risk analysis on a concrete example of a company that wants to break on the market through the internet shop. The thesis builds on a theoretical basis of e-business, e-commerce, e-shop features, information systems and risk engineering. Based on the theoretical backgrounds, were the risk analysis and suggestions made to prevent and potentially mitigate these risks to an acceptable level.
Information System Assessment and Proposal of ICT Modification

The thesis is focused on the current situation and the information system analysis of the particular retail, which deals with the sale of animal feed and supplies. Furthermore, it provides the improvement proposal, in order to support company sales. The thesis is divided into three parts. The first part determines the theoretical basis. The second part analyses the current situation of the company, evaluates the quality of its information system and the company in general. The content of the practical part is a proposal of a sales promotion system through e-commerce.

Methodology of implementing a recommender system using the Soyka tool

This diploma thesis is focused on content personalization and specifically on recommender systems. The aim of the thesis is to propose a methodology of recommender system implementation in e-commerce using the IT tool Soyka. Functions of personalization tools which directly support recommender systems are identified on the basis of a theoretical description of recommender systems and their technological approaches. Based on these identified functions the tool Soyka is classified. The main contribution of the thesis is the created and published methodology which is ready to be used on real implementation projects by anyone involved.

Resumé European Law against Unfair Competition This thesis focuses on the regulation of law against unfair competition adopted on the European Union level. The thesis is composed of two parts - the first one introduces legislative regulation of law against unfair competition, the second part analyses legal regulation of misleading and comparative advertisement as the examples of merits of unfair competition. The first part of the thesis firstly overviews the law against unfair competition on the international level; the core of the thesis, however, lies in the overview of legislation adopted by the European Union. Within the summary of the European legislation it firstly introduces the background for the legislative activity of the European Union in the field of unfair competition. Subsequently, it is followed up by the overview of directives with the primary aim to protect European businesses and consumers against unfair competition. When introducing the directives it emphasises mainly the findings whether it was adopted under minimum or maximum harmonisation, therefore to which extend the member state legislators are free to diverge from the regulation adopted by the European Union. The purpose of my thesis is to analyse the regulation related to the Internet and private international law. The Internet is a quickly developing system of interconnected computer networks. Recent expansion of the internet caused that it becomes almost an essential part of our lives which serves either to communicate or to contract. A growing number of internet-users raised a question of a need for more specialized legislation related to the Internet and e-commerce. The thesis is focused on the regulation applicable to the internet and e-commerce and questions raising when rules intended for real-life obligations are being applied on the Internet. The thesis is composed of six chapters, each of them dealing with different aspects of the topic. Chapter One is introductory. It explains the connection between private international law and the Internet and presents relevant legislation of the Czech Republic and the European Union. Chapter Two and Chapter Three explain where the contracting party can expect to be sued and which jurisdiction's law will be applied. Chapter Four concentrates on e- commerce and contracts in cyberspace. The Consumer Choice in the E-Commerce Environment

The bachelor thesis The Consumer Choice in the E-Commerce Environment analyzes factors influencing the loyalty of e-commerce customers. The first part of the thesis describes the current situation of the e-commerce market in the Czech Republic. The second part introduces concepts that are connected to the theory of the consumer choice and CRM in the e-commerce environment. The third empirical part uses the theoretical concepts to create an empirical model which examines how the behaviour loyalty is related to the customer's satisfaction, to the marketing tactics and to the characteristics of e-shops and customers. The satisfaction with the last purchase proved to be an important determinant of the customer's loyalty. The probability of customer's loyalty depends also on the age of the e-shop and on the individual preferences. Customers for whom the price of the product is very important when making a purchasing decision tend to be less loyal. On the other hand, customers that prefer to buy at trustworthy sellers are more probable to be loyal in the future. Contrary, the marketing tactics did not prove to have any influence on the behavioural loyalty. The last part analyzes the influence of the website quality on the customer's satisfaction.

(in English): The main goal of diploma thesis is to describe the internet business specifics with focus of identifying the causes of success or failure of companies on the Internet. At the theoretical level in context of thesis is to characterize the influence of the Internet on business principles and give to the reader a complete picture of its impact on current business. Following the main aim of the theses will need a virtually explore the possibilities which offer 21st century in the integration of modern business tools that allows smoother access to corporate infomation and knowledge and If their effective optimatization is the key to a uccessful business on the internet. The contribution of this thesis is to evaluate the practical challenges for companies which brings continual development of information and communication technologies that can be used for support of decision making in selecting an appropriate combination of business tools.
Online monitoring of electronic trading

The thesis analyses the processes within a brokerage firm and based on this analysis describes the design and implementation of a solution, that allows user to monitor the electronic trading infrastructure at real-time. The monitoring system provides a detailed overview of live orders and currently realized transactions on various stock exchanges, allows searching and filtering data, as well as automatic creation and distribution of reports and protocols with information about message latencies. The system design takes into account a large amounts of data, reaching approximately million messages per day and hundreds of messages per second at peak times.
