The urban design of the area in the immediate vicinity of the city center of Krnov and the Main Square includes the design of the corner and a large courtyard connected to the circuit of city parks.

The following bachelor thesis of civil significance has been elaborated on the basis of a study that I made during my studies abroad at the Bauhaus University in Germany. My aim was to design a concept of three separate buildings, a library, a theater and an educational facility for children and youth, which are connected on the first and second underground floors, where all three buildings are allowed underground parking at two levels of the first and second underground floors. On the first floor, all three buildings are connected by a central park. After the consultation and consultation with the head of the construction-technical solution, the subject of this thesis will be a separate object of the library. The library building consists of four aboveground and two underground floors. On the first floor there is an entrance reception, a bar with snacks, books and a reading area with a shelving department. On the second to third floor you will find an educational space, a reading area and a separate study room. The fourth floor contains a special book department and administrative room for library management. The new library is designed from a combined nose system where columns prevail. The building is reinforced with a reinforced concrete core, which serves as an escape staircase, over the entire height of six floors. There is also a barrier-free lift. The escape staircase located in the reinforced concrete reinforcement core connects all floors of the building and allows access to both underground floors. In the main space of the library there is a large steel staircase which overcomes the first, second, third and fourth floors, thus visually connecting the space for reading. State castle Litomyšl library. The history of the library collection, the analysis and cataloguing of its greatest part

The subject of this diploma thesis is the library of the state castle Litomyšl that was created as a product of the state institutions in the second half of the 20th century. The thesis deals with the topic in two fundamental segments - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part provides comprehensive processing of the library history and analysis of the particular unit especially from the topical, chronological and geographical point of view. The paper also focuses on the language, provenance as well as physical condition of the books and especially the graphics of the prints. From a thematic point of view, particular emphasis is placed on the most interesting, though not very numerous, group of religious prints and manuscripts. The practical part of the thesis, which consists in the cataloguing of the fund, brings the greatest factual contribution, especially to Národní památkový ústav that will therefore obtain a complex overview on one of its collections, but also to specialized public, for whom the composition of the catalogue means the possibility of the research use.

Procedural Generation of Dungeon Type Structures

The main aim of this bachelor thesis was to design and develop a library for procedural generation of dungeons and web application for its practical use. The library offers a configuration interface, output generation according to this configuration and file support. The web application allows the visualization of the obtained input. The implementation was done in Java language.

Vision for SVIT

The SVIT tannery complex in Velké Meziříčí was demolished in 2008. Since then the area that is next to the Balinka river and close to the historic city center has no use. The thesis analyses the characteristics of the place, solves the connection to the surroundings, defines possible functional use and describes the vision for the complex. The aim of the thesis is to propose one of the buildings (library) in the complex in detail. The work could be used as a topic for a public discussion about the development of the territory for the inhabitants and municipal council of Velké Meziříčí.

Design of bookcase for specific interior

The diploma thesis deals with the design of a free-standing bookcase for a specific customer. The thesis is divided into two main parts – thereotical and practical. The theoretical part deals with the development of bookcases and libraries as well as storing of books, which includes standards, sizing, ergonomics and materials being used for book storage furniture manufacturing. The theoretical part also contains research of the current free-standing bookcases market. The practical part describes a new bookcase design process, all the calculations made for its correct sizing, the bookcase manufacturing itself and a description of materials used for the bookcase production. The practical part also includes a collection of newly designed bookcase visualizations and all production costs.

Acceleration Structure Building on GPU

This thesis focuses on the construction of octree for three-dimensional triangular models on graphics hardware. This acceleration structure was chosen based on a comparison of the most commonly used acceleration structures. The approach to the construction of this structure is based on the method of construction of a sparse voxel octree which is derived from the former. The process uses voxelization accelerated by the graphics card's rendering pipeline. To facilitate this process and enable the integration of the proposed procedure into future applications, this thesis also includes design of a C++ language library.

Teaching-space paradigm

The task of the bachelor's thesis is to design the completion of the Faculty of Architecture in the BUT campus in the Brno-centre district between Úvoz, Údolní and Tvrdého streets, due to the planned transfer of the faculty from the current premises on Poříčí Street. The issue of completion allows for the expansion of the faculty premises and the addition of capacities for which the current situation no longer has a place. The project also addresses the use of the original historic buildings and the connection of the Faculty of Architecture with the Faculty of Fine Arts within one area.

Platform Independent Storge of Sensitive Data

This thesis addresses the issues when securing sensitive data for Windows, iOS and MacOS, with the target being to create the ideal key-value data storage library. A C++ library has been designed and implemented based on a given facts. The library offers a simple application programming interface for storing data and structuring them into modules. A base functionality is verified by set of unit tests.
