Analysis of marketing communication in tourism

This bachelor work deals with issues connected with marketing communication in tourism, namely internet pages of chosen travel agencies. Individual basis of marketing, marketing communication of travel agencies and principles of creating web pages are all described in the theoretical part. Then, in the practical part, internet pages of individual travel agencies are analysed as far as following the principles are concerned. Furthermore, the best websites are chosen.
The economic analysis of the integration of the travel agents Obnova Ltd. and Travel Agent Marcela Drašnarová

The thesis looks at a detailed evaluation of the potential merger of two travel agents (Travel Agent Obnova Ltd., and Travel Agent Marcela Drašnarová). The first part deals with a comprehensive analysis of both companies. The theoretical characteristic of financial analysis builds its practical implementation on the example of Travel Agent Obnova. Qualitative analysis is based on PEST analysis, competitive analysis and SWOT analysis for the two above mentioned companies. The second part is devoted to the integration of enterprises in the tourism sector as part of the globalization process. The paper presents specific examples of merger based on real experience. In conclusion, the thesis characterizes and assesses the options for the integration of those travel agents.
Development Trends on the Tourism Market

Implementation of Business Intelligence

This diploma thesis deals with the implementation of Business Intelligence solution in a travel industry company and its interconnection to Balanced Scorecard as one of the enterprise performance management tool. First part focuses on pointing out the main theoretical foundations of Balanced Scorecard and Business Intelligence. It describes Balanced Scorecard and its principles and it also defines Business Intelligence, the architecture of BI and the implementation process generally. In the second part the particular metrics model is generated and a few specific metrics from this model are implemented in the Business Intelligence pilot project.
The Analysis of the Offer of Travel Agencies in View of the Chosen Destination

The dissertation The Analysis of the Offer of Travel Agencies in View of the Chosen Destination is aimed at the comparison and evaluation of the offer of chosen travel agencies. In particular terms the topic is a comparison of ski tours to Italian Dolomites. The goal was to judge whether an offer of Czech travel agencies tours is sufficient on the Czech market. The first chapter explains basic terms concerning tourism. Then the characteristics of the destination Dolomites and the analysis of particular travel agencies follow. The last chapter offers the comparison of offers from the point of view of several criteria. On the basis of discovered data the introductory hypothesis was confirmed, respectively that the offer of ski tours on the Czech market is sufficient.

The thesis is focused on an analysis of supply of travel agency Fischer. The opening part is based on theoretical conception, where the most important basic terms are defined. It includes the definitions of basic terms from the tourism industry including travel agency, tourist, holiday package, the term "supply of tourism" and "supply of travel agency". The main part includes the supply analysis which contains the destinations, forms of transport, food and beverage services and also the specific services supply typical especially for travel agency Fischer. In the last part, the whole supply of the travel agency is evaluated.

The last chapter is devoted to the analysis of promotion, all the promotional methods are defined and the last part of this chapter includes the summary and the evaluation.
Transformation of the selected travel agency VS Tours into a touroperator

This final thesis deals with the process of transforming of the selected travel agency VS Tours into a touroperator. All formalities and practical steps that are necessary for a successful process are analyzed and evaluated. In the first part general legal conditions for tourism industry in the Czech Republic as well as the formal transformation process are described. The second part first introduces the existing travel agency VS Tours and deals further with practical aspects of its transformation into a touroperator, including drafts of the necessary documents. The third part solves purely the practical aspects of the matter. A proposal for a profile product of the new touroperator, its marketing strategy and revenue calculations are presented. The work as a whole proposes a complex plan for transforming the travel agency VS Tours into a touroperator. The work can also be generally seen as a guide for any other travel agency planning a similar step.

The aim of the thesis was to create the business plan of a newly rising travel agency. The Theoretical part targets the basic conceptions related to the issue. It contains the definition of a business plan and it mentions who its users are and which form and appurtenances should the correct business plan have. The Practical part includes the concrete business plan of the new travel agency. It includes the explication, if its foundation in future is feasible and if the calculation of the capital intensity of the project is realistic.
