Poor adherence leads to increased morbidity, mortality and healthcare expenditures. The aim of this study was to analyze adherence to application technique in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), taking into account inhaler device and patient characteristics. Methods: The Czech Multicenter Research Database of COPD, non-interventional observational prospective study, was used as a source of clinical data. Adherence to the application technique was evaluated using Five Steps Assessment. Patients were recruited to the study from August 2013 to December 2016 by 14 outpatient secondary health care centers providing respiratory physician- based care to patients with COPD throughout the Czech Republic. They can be often obtained in supermarkets and petrol stations. Objectives: The main goal of this research was to analyse the real situation in the stores selling SMP, according to good practise and the provision of consultancy during the selling of SMP by staff in Hradec Králové and its near surrounding. The purpose was extended to finding the availability and selling of SMP in Czech Republic. Methods: The practical part consisted of two phases. In the first phase, two anonymous visits were done. The first visit went on without asking staff. During the second visit the staff was asked for advice. The second phase consisted of an online questionnaire about demand, availability and saleability of SMP. In total, 2632 retailers were asked about took part in it. Their main task is to ensure the payment of health services in the form of health insurance. The objective of the work was to analyze the development of health insurance companies in the Czech Republic with a focus on the costs of medicinal products (MP) and medical devices (MD) dispensed on medical prescription in the years 2018-2020. Methodology: Data on health insurance companies' economy were obtained from the annual reports for the years 2018-2020, which health insurance companies publish on their websites. Data on the total costs of selected health services related to prescription of MP and MD and expenses for MP and MD dispensed on prescription issued by health service providers were processed. Tereza Hendrychová The influence of MDOC nanotextile on the healing of an acute dermal wound Diploma paper Charles University in Prague, The Faculty Of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Pharmacy In this work there are summarized general information about the course of the healing process of acute dermal wounds and their nursing. There are described the inflammatory mediators (cytokines) in more details. In experiment there was assessed the influence of M-DOC® (microdispersed oxidized cellulose) with gentamycin joined on it on the process of the healing of acute dermal wounds. The formulation was called Nanogenta. Domestic pig, Sus scrofa was used as an experimental model. There were 12 animals used, in the experiment. For the demonstration of effectivity of tested formulation the wounds were infected (Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Escherichia coli). The effectivity of tested formulation was confronted with preparations, that have demonstrated their effect in clinical use yet (Garamycin Schwann® , Hyiodine® ). There were performed macroscopic, microbiology and microscopic evaluation. AIMS: The study aim was to evaluate the patients' attitudes to the treatment of osteoporosis based on the perception of necessity and concerns of treatment with oral bisphosphonates (BIS). METHODS: Data for the analysis were obtained using an anonymous questionnaire in five outpatient centres in the Czech Republic from November 2012 to March 2013. The choice of the treatment method is fundamental for reaching the therapeutic aims. That is why medical staff members should continuously monitor information about new possibilities of the therapy including the current ones which are still continuously specified.
