Shared care for children and pupils with autism spectrum disorders

Families that take care of children with autistic spectrum disorder contend with everyday mental strain while looking after their child. Situation is even more complicated for lack of social services suitable for autistic spectrum disorder. It forces families to rely on themselves. In response to lack of services in the Czech Republic a new shared care service called homesharing was established by initiative "Naděje pro děti úplňku". Homesharing is a voluntary service and works as follows. An instructed host family looks after a child with autistic spectrum disorder at their place at regular intervals. The service enables an essential time to a rest to primary family. The objective of my diploma thesis called Shared care for children and pupils with autism spectrum disorders is to investigate the experience of host and primary families within the homesharing service. Theoretical part of my diploma thesis describes issues (social services, shared care) linked to autistic spectrum disorders on the basis of reference books. Practical part of my work contains qualitative research, specifically semi-conducted interview. Parents and grandparents in educating of pre school children

This diploma work deals with parents and grandparents in education of preschool age. First theoretical part of the work examines sociological data about family and education of children. The work further deals details of the position and role of the grandparents when these findings are then compare in the context of a child where the main importance is focused to presence grandparents in education. The second part of the work is focused to research. It examines how the parents and grandparents work together in education and how feels this help young parent. This part of the work finds what education methods repeat of our children and how has changed the education today against of past. It deals if grandparents affect their children and if these children perceive they are influence by parents.

Aim: To assess patients' experiences with acupuncture focusing on the patients' expected effect before, during and after treatment, on the potential change in expectations during treatment and on its potential effect on treatment outcomes, and on the evaluation of the truly perceived therapeutic effect. Methods: Using semistructured questionnaires, we led interviews with selected patients in the period from 19. 9. 2015 to 18. 5. 2016. Rewritten dialogues were afterwards coded in MAXQDA 12 and evaluated using the content analysis method. Results: Content analysis identified topics related to the expected and actual effect of acupuncture. It involved symptoms of migraine before and after treatment, treatment beliefs and expectations before, after and during treatment, recognition of therapeutic effect, adverse effects and benefit in patients' life. Forms of Family and School Cooperation at the Beginning of School Attandance

This thesis focuses on forms of cooperation between family and school at the beginning of school attendance. The theoretical part defines family and school as educational institutions and traces the development of cooperation between these institutions. It shows current trends in cooperation between family and school using the elements of a strategy of innovative educational program Step by Step and project Parents welcome. It refers to the elements that affect mutual relations. At the beginning of the empirical part is first described the methodology of qualitative research. The main techniques used were observation, questioning and interviews with teaching staff and the parents of pupils at two schools - at the average primary school and at the school using the program Start together, which received a certificate Parents welcome. Partner reality was analyzed on the basis of a document Competent teacher of the 21st century: An international professional quality framework ISSA. Experience of Ukrainian registered nurses with migration to the Czech Republic through the Highly Qualified Employee Program and integration

The researched issue of this diploma thesis are the experience of Ukrainian nurses with migration to the Czech healthcare system using the Highly Qualified Employee Program and their following integration. Thesis is also containing description of Migration-related barriers are also described as well as reflection of the factors that have most affected migration. The work is divided into theoretical and analytical part. The practical part presents the knowledge that is necessary to fully understand the experience of Ukrainian nurses. This section describes in detail the processes leading to migration and obtaining recognition of to practice the medical profession. The end section of this part contain relevant findings on migration of nurses in global context. The analytical part is research focused. Data gathering was undertaken with 9 nurses using narrative interviews took. Participant were chosen using the snowball method. The following analysis of the information was performed using grounded theory. The informants' experiences were diverse. The needs of people with dementia and the support of their independent living in their own environment

The present thesis which focuses on the needs of people with dementia and the support of their independent living in the home environment was written within the framework of the PhD study in Longevity at the Faculty of Humanities, Charles University, GAČR project co- researcher and AZV participated in during post gradual studies. Presented research focuses on the needs of home dwelling people with dementia, the needs of their informal carers, the needs and experiences with providing care of patients with dementia in acute hospital care. The text of the thesis is divided into four parts, which are based on texts reviewed and published or prepared for publication. The first three parts present own research aimed at identifying the needs of people with dementia and experiences with caring of them in their home environment and in the hospital environment during acute care. The final part presents the possibilities and services to support their independent life in their own environment.
Support for a novice class teacher in high school

This diploma theses is focused on support of class teachers on the beginning of their career in high schools, generally, the core of this work is its competences necessary for the performance of this function and the duties connected with it, its legislative framework. I chose this topic as i am a class teacher for the first time. And would like to do this work with high responsibility. Meanwhile I'm inspired by more experienced colleagues, whose advice are very precious to me. The aim of this work is to cover the topic of competences of class teachers in secondary vocational schools. To include the aspect of socialization - adaptation of class team, social structure of the class, education of this social group. In the empirical part of this work is case study of class teachers and their work experiences. Semi structured interviews are mapping demands of fulfilling their duties, personal experience in positive and negative aspect. i conducted these semi structured interviews in private high school with two class teachers. The objective of this diploma thesis is that support for beginning teachers at a given school has a lot of room for improvement. The needs of vulnerable older people in home health care

The present dissertation, which focuses on the needs of particularly vulnerable older people in home health care, was written within the framework of the PhD study in Longevity at the Faculty of Humanities, Charles University and was carried out as part of the project supported by the Charles University Grant Agency "Met and Unmet Needs of Particularly Vulnerable Older Patients in Home and Inpatient Care" (GA UK No. 760219). The overall aim of the three researcher project, where I was the research coordinator, was to clarify the needs of particularly vulnerable older patients in both home health care and inpatient care, including the needs of patients living with dementia. The aim of this dissertation was to identify the needs of vulnerable older patients in home health care. This dissertation consists of four papers. At the time of writing, two articles had been published in peer-reviewed journals and two articles were under review. The thesis has chapters in the introduction and conclusion that set the professional articles in context, creating a comprehensive view of the needs of particularly vulnerable older people in home health care. So far, there has not been a study conducted in the Czech Republic which describes patients' awareness and experience with acupuncture and other CAM methods and their attitudes to future use of these methods after having been treated with them. Aim: The aim of the thesis was to evaluate the experience of patients suffering from migraines with acupuncture. The areas covered were the patients' awareness of acupuncture, their motivation to try acupuncture as an alternative treatment method, their experience with other CAM methods as well as the likelihood of them undergoing another acupuncture treatment in the future. Methods: Semi-structured interviews with selected patients were conducted between September 19th 2015 and May 18th 2016.
