Title: Destroying of rocky shapes caused by climbing Objectives: The main aim of this bachelor thesis is find out a rate and type of damage sandstone rocky shapes casused by climbing. This bachelor thesis is also engaged in climbing and its relationship to nature conservation in the snadstone landscapes. Methods: For the theoretic part of this bachelor thesis was used a method of analysis of documents and available literature. For the research section of this thesis has been carried out field research in choosen districts by observation and taking a photographs of type of damage sandstone rocky shapes. Results: We found out a shapes and rate of damage sandstone rocky shapes in choosen districts. The rate of damage of sandstone rocky shapes depends on the rate of climbing. We also found out that damage of sandstone rocky shapes are influenced by other sports and recreational activities. Ordinary life of Czechoslovakian female mountain climbers during the period of so-called normalization till 1989

The thesis is devoted to the topic of ordinary life of women mountain climbers in the period of Czechoslovakian socialism (specifically between the years 1969 -1989). Through analysis and interpretationof oral historical interviews with women climbers who had participated in the national expeditions to foreign mountains, the author will reflect the following topics: how it could be possible to become a member of selective expedition team; how this "job" women climbers combined with a daily life, working duty, and its obligations in the family. The study will also focus on the issues of travelling, climbing topic as a prestigious international competition and presentation of this prestige by executive body; it will not stay aloof from the reflection of social or physical differences between Czechoslovakian climbers and other international teams and the intervention of the Communist Party in the composition of the expeditions. The work draw ordinariness of extraordinary fates of Czechoslovak women athletes - climbers nearer, and offers one of the possible approach to the relatively unexplored sector of Czechoslovakian sport.
The impact of selected nodes on strength of flat slings under static load

Název práce Vliv vybraných uzlů na pevnost ploché šité smyčky při statickém zatížení. Cíle práce Cílem práce je posoudit pevnost plochých šitých smyček při statickém zatížení a vliv uzlů na snížení jejich pevnosti. Metody Zpracovávaná studie je designována jako dvoufaktorový experiment, při kterém zkoumáme vliv použitých uzlů na pokles nominální pevnosti u dvou typů smyček. Měření bylo prováděno na horizontálním trhacím stroji. Byly vybrány smyčky materiálu dyneema, polyamid a nejčastěji používané uzly (vůdcovský, osmičkový a devítkový). Výsledky Větší pevnosti dosáhly smyčky materiálu Polyamid 26,0 ± 1,1 kN a pevnosti v průřezu 1,3 kN na 1 mm2 . Smyčky materiálu dyneema dosáhli pevnosti 25,1 ± 0,9 kN a pevnosti v průřezu 1,3 kN na 1 mm2 . Na smyčce materiálu polyamid nejméně snižoval pevnost vůdcovský uzel. Smyčka praskla při tažné síle 17,4 ± 0,7 kN. U dyneemy to byl uzel osmičkový s hodnotami 12,2 ± 0,8 kN. Závěr Pro použití smyček v kombinaci s uzly bychom mohli doporučit materiál polyamid, kde uzel snižuje méně nominální pevnost než u dyneemy. The legal regime of practicing tourism and sports in specially protected areas

The diploma thesis deals with legal regime of practicing tourism and sports in specially protected areas of the Czech Republic. Specially protected areas are areas with stricter protection regime of nature on specific accurately assessed flat territory. The thesis is composed of five chapters dealing with mutual relationship between sports and environmental protection, general definition of law of specially protected areas of the Czech Republic with a focus on protection tools and sports and tourism activities. Last two chapters are devoted to the pursuit of climbing in the Protected Landscape Area Jizerské hory and the National Park České Švýcarsko. Development of German Alpine Clubs in Czech Lands until 1938

Pavlína Chaloupská, abstrakt disertační práce Abstract: The thesis analyzes activities of the most important German Alpine clubs operating in the Czech Lands and interwar Czechoslovakia since their establishment until 1938. The history of alpine clubs is explained, and the organization of DuÖAV (Deutscher und Österreichischer Alpenverein, German and Austrian Alpine Association) is analysed, on the basis of general and specific introductory information related to the alpinism in the late 19th century. The thesis is divided according to geographical location of the constituent sections. For each section of DuÖAV, the circumstances of its establishment are monitored, the sphere of its activity is defined, the internal organization is described, and the economic functioning is analyzed. The activities of Alpine clubs in Bohemia and Alps are charted in detail, and based on the research it was discovered that the most important activity of the Alpine clubs was the construction of the Alpine huts, owned by German clubs from Bohemia. Among other activities there were organization of guiding and rescue operations, giving lectures, balls and excursions in their locality. Two chapters are devoted to the most important personalities of the German alpinism in the Czech lands: Johann Stüdl and Rudolf Kauschka.
Czech terminological mountainneering and sport climbing dictionary

Title: Czech terminological mountaineering and sport climbing dictionnary. Goals: Create Czech terminological mountaineering a sport climbing dictionnary. Method: Searches primary and secondary literature. In the first case it was published dictionaries, mountaineering and climbing guides, studies and grammars. In the second case it was a popular publications, monographs important mountaineers and climbers, magazines and websites. Results and conclusion: We have created Czech terminological mountaineering and sport climbing dictionnary with about a thousands lexical units. Words contain around one hundred borrowings from foreign languages, especially English (anglicisms), German (germanisms) and French (galicisms). Most often, the terminology in mountainneering and sport climbing forms deriving, namely the most suffix derivation. Dominant trend in the vocablulary of mountaineering and sport climbing generally increase the amount of borrowed words, especially form english. We consider it a serious problem that has been created bilingual dictionaries from this area before being released Czech terminological mountaineering and sport climbing dictionnary. Aspects of the movement in the alpine environment, with emphasis on altitude sickness

This thesis is focused on aspects of mountains activities as a ski touring, hiking and mountaineering. This field of sports are associated with the risk of altitude sickness. The thesis examines key parameters that contribute to the emergence of altitude sickness. The other examinees parameters are weather conditions, influence of high altitude, physical training and physiological manifestations of individual person. The aim of this thesis was find out which sports are the most affected by high altitude sickness. And what are the most common symptoms of altitude sickness. It was based on the literature and questionnaire.
Development and present situation of Mountain rescue service

Title: Development and present situation of Mountain Rescue Services Objectives: The main goal of the bachelor thesis is to give an overview about historical development of Mountain Rescue Services in Czech Republic and to depict the most important milestones, which influenced the following events. In detailed way will be outlined the activity of Mountain Rescue Services at present time. Methods: For the bachelor thesis will be used collecting, sorting and interpreting of information. Based on exploration of facts will be reached the goal, which was set for this thesis. Results: Results of thesis confirm the longtime tradition and rich experiences of Mountain Rescue Services in Czech Republic, what became as a good base for functioning of organisation at present. It can be said that members of Mountain Rescue Services are ready and equipped to provide rescue under all conditions.
