Coach behaviour in training process

Name:Coach Behaviour in Training The Aim of the Thesis: Observation of the trainer's attitude to the supervision of the youth football team. The observed object will be the trainer Martin from the club Bohemians 1905. I will focus my attention on his behaviour to players, on the ways how he explains individual exercises, in particular on his way of communication with children, understandability and clearness of the demonstration. I will also watch the ways used for motivating the trainees. Methodology: To reach my result I will use two basic methods. The first method deals with observing and making video recordings which will be consequently analysed and evaluated. The second method will be based on questioning both the trainer and the chosen players using a short questionnaire. Results: My thesis will serve as positive and negative feedback for the observed trainer who can use the provided material with particular recommendations in order to improve his work. Further, the mentioned recommendations can be used by all trainers involved in youth categories as it is material which can help them with the procedure of explaining and supervising exercises. Lachrymal secretion in tenrecs: physiological, behavioral and phylogenetic contexts (Tenrecinae, Afrosoricida)

The secretion of white liquid around the eyes and nose with a spiny tenrecs Echinops telfairi and Setifer setosus mentions for the first time Poduschka in 1974, but until now this phenomenon in these species no one paid any detail. Similar secretion was described in Mountain beaver or by shrews. The impetus for shedding the excitement caused by the presence of an individual female or another male or its odor. Males secretions also used for marking territory. A total of 70 samples of eye secretions from ten male Echinops telfairi during the entire active season (from March to October) have been collected within this study. For protein detection method was used two-dimensional polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (2D PAGE) and subsequent identification by mass spectrometry. An autopsy of the eye area was performed for representatives of all four genera of the subfamily Tenrecinae (Tenrec, Setifer, Echinops, Hemicentetes), died in Pilsen Zoo. Title: Attitudes competitors kickboxing coach to lead the way during the match Objectives: The main objective of this study is to examine how athletes perceive their coach in leadership (coaching) during the match, whether this behavior coincides with their preferences and what attitudes they have. Furthermore, these results are interpreted as a feedback to coach who lead a match to the increase effectiveness of its leadership and also show that perception during the match and athletes's preferences are very individual and different. And therefore coaches should not follow just generalized research into coaching but they should work with each athlete individually and according to theirs specific needs. Methods: In this thesis were used a method of structured questionnaire and semiguided interview. The structured questionnaire was used in the detecting method of coach leading during the match and preferences of participants. Social organization and communication of flying foxes focused on the genus Rousettus

Within the family Pteropodidae there are different types of social systems, depending on the species. Reproductive activity of Egyptian fruit bat (Rousettus aegyptiacus) is based on the latitude, when in milder latitudes individuals tend to be seasonally monoestry, southerly living individuals are less synchronous. Gestation lasts about four months and in most cases one young is born and mother cares about it. Egyptian fruit bats often inhabit caves, while there may live thousands of individuals and even more together. Pteropodidae are focused on plant food, which they choose according to the many criteria. Members of the genus Rousettus belong to the food generalists and their diet includes trees and herbs, from which they consume fruits, flowers, nectar, pollen, shoots and leaves. They were also observed by eating beetles of the family Scarabidae. Flying foxes of the genus Rousettus are special, because they orient by echolocation. They emit short broadband signals through the vibration of the language, whose length ranges from 50-100 s. From other chiropteran families they differ through the way of production the signals. Within-group fish behaviour: effect of common experience

Recently, behavioral studies focusing on social relationships of fish in groups became popular. Fish are able individually recognize conspecifics or even heterospecifics. This ability allows distinguishing among individuals in and between groups and shows that fish prefer associating with familiar or kin individuals. An interaction with kin individuals is called condition-dependent recognition, whilst relationship based on previous experience is called condition independent recognition or familiarity. Both of these interactions can bring the participants some advantages, such as better protection from predators, foraging benefits, lower aggression levels, etc.
Nesting behaviour and population genetics of solitary bees (Hymenoptera: Anthophila)

My thesis is focused on nesting behaviour and population genetics of solitary bees. These two topics, although seemingly unrelated, bring much new information and thus contribute to the better understanding of solitary bee biology that is still insufficiently known. Although the solitary behaviour represents the necessary original state for the evolution of higher sociality or obligate cleptoparasitism, its role is largely unappreciated. Furthermore, intraspecific cleptoparasitism, which is an alternative and facultative nesting strategy in bees, is a probable antecedent state of obligate cleptoparasitism. Although the obligate cleptoparasitism is a very common strategy in solitary bees, the information about the frequency and the occurrence of intraspecific cleptoparasitism in solitary bees is rare. We studied the nesting behaviour of solitary bees to detect different behavioural patterns that could serve as preadaptations to sociality or cleptoparasitic behaviour and we also focused on the detection and description of intraspecific cleptoparasitism in solitary bees. The influence of the neuroactive steroids inhibiting NMDA receptors on behaviour

The neuroactive steroid pregnanolone glutamate (Pg glu), a synthetic analogue of the naturally occurring pregnanolone sulfate (3alpha5betaS), has neuroprotective properties and a minimum of adverse effects. The subject of my thesis is the influence of selected structural modifications of the molecule Pg glu on biological effects. The first modification involves an increase of lipophilicity, the second involves the attachment of a positively charged group to C3. All these neuroactive steroids are use-dependent inhibitors of NMDA receptors. The first aim of this thesis was to determine the neuroprotective effectiveness of the neuroactive steroids chosen. The second aim was to explore the influence of selected neuroactive steroids on motor coordination, reflexes, anxiety and locomotor activity, as well as the effect of their high doses. The third aim was to create a battery of behavioural tests for screening the biological effects of analogues of Pg glu in laboratory rodents. The neuroprotective effects were evaluated in a model of excitotoxic damage of hippocampus in the rat on the basis of its behavioural consequences. Diploma thesis "US lobbyists in the EU: significance of home country regulation for lobbying behaviour in a less regulated environment" tackles the topic of lobbying in terms of comparing two differently regulated environments and the behaviour of lobbyists in these environments. In the introduction, the thesis analyses the current definitions and theoretical anchoring of the expert debate on lobbying, attempts to define this concept and to determine the basic research characteristics. The thesis attempts to describe why lobbying should be regulated and how is affected by lobbying transparency enhancement debate. Subsequently, the thesis describes and compares the regulation of lobbying in the United States and the European Union, while also taking into account international standards. The empirical part of the thesis is based on data provided by the American research center "Center for Responsive Politics". From this basic dataset, the companies and associations that lobby in the United States and the European Union, in particular, their basic documents and websites, are then researched based on established criteria. Mechanisms of relationship between melanin-based colouration and behavioural syndromes in birds

Melanins are the most common pigments incorporated into birds' feathers. Since melanin-based coloration is variable in the extent and intensity, its function is considered to be particularly cryptic and mechanical, hardening the feather structure. However, recently it has been found that melanin- based coloration also has a signaling function, due to the observed correlation between this type of coloration and many physiological and behavioral traits. These relationships follow from the pleiotropic effects of genes regulating the melanocortin system and the physiological effects of testosterone and corticosterone, which are involved in melanogenesis. This work describes genetic and physiological mechanisms of the relationship between melanin-based coloration and behavioral traits in birds and, based on available studies, supports the signaling function of this type of coloration. Melanin-based coloration has been shown to be positively correlated with aggressiveness and dominance, sexual activity, coping with stress, a fast strategy of exploratory behavior, parental care, and anti-predator behavior in many bird species.
