Weapon (not only) as a work of art

The aim of this thesis is to introduce various types of weapons, not only as objects of everyday use, but also as objects which are of high artistic value. The aim is to introduce the phenomenon of arms not only as objects, which are designed for different types of practical applications, but also as a fine art and artifacts with the aesthetic and functional value. The main method for the production of this thesis was to study literature and other texts, or materials related to the given topic. The thesis is divided into several chapters by type of weapon (cold, firearms) and by continents, where the weapons occurred. Then I focused my research on the phenomenon of arms in the film industry, and the question of arms and related violence and also the issue of preventing violence, bullying and crime. Aggression in Primary School

HITKOVÁ, Eva. Aggression in Primary Schoul [Thesis]. Prague: Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Education, 2010. The diploma thesis focuses on issues of aggression and aggressiveness of children in nursery school. The aim is to monitor the incidence, causes and manifestations of aggressive behavior in preschool children. The work is divided into ten main chapters. First, focus on the characteristics of the psyche of a preschool age and a child's socialization. It concentrates on the theory, explanation of key concepts and definitions of aggression. An integral part of this work is a list of causes and manifestations of aggression in children in nursery school. Within these chapters it tries to understand and analyze the influences affecting the preschool children and their behavior. In the empirical part, it deals with the investigation and detection of actual aggression and aslo the aggression in today's nursery school in preschool children. The survey was conducted by an observation of children in nursery school. The results were recorded and further processed into tables and graphs. Bullying from the view of teachers and pupils in the chosen basic school

Title: Bullying from the viewpoint of teachers and students at the selected elementary school. Abstract: This paper presents views and observations on the subject of bullying from the viewpoint of teachers and students of the second level of a selected elementary school in Prague 6. The theoretical section contains definition of basic terms. Organisation of the selected school in Prague 6 is described. Research forms a major part of the Thesis. Surveys were carried out by means of questionnaires, observations and interviews. Results show a positive climate at the school created by teachers. Agressive behaviour is not overlooked and is dealt with by each teacher individually. The elementary school cooperates with a citizens group Prev-centrum which prepares preventive programs for individual classes. Bullying does take place at the school but at a much lower level than presented by media and what is common at some other elementary schools. Aggression, hostility and its influence on interpretation of social situations

Goal of a master thesis was to explore connection between aggression and interpretation of ambiguous social situations. In theoretical part of thesis author described theories of aggression, he was dealing with sources of aggression and also with criminal aggression with an overlap to typology of violent offenders. Author also described the problematic of ambiguous social situations and phenomena connected with it. In empirical part of thesis the main goal was to explore interconnection between aggression and interpretation of ambiguous social situations; and to compare group of inmates convicted for committing a violent crimes (n=30) with comparison group (n=30) in external aggression, understanding of ambiguous social situations and perceived social worth. For the purpose of exploring ambiguous social situations, methods DSS and SIP-AEQ were used. For exploring of external aggression were used Rosenzweig's PFT and for perceived social worth the SWS method. Two of four hypotheses were confirmed.
Bullying in the Intensive Care Units

Bullying in the intensive care units. The main mission of this thesis is to describe an issue called mobbing. The primary target is to get information about rate of bullying in the intensive care units in south Bohemia, especially in Prachatice and Strakonice city and to know how many percent of employees / paramedics of the intensive care units were already touched by bullying. This kind of information we got by anonymous questionnaires, set up from 23 questions with open and closed form. In theoretical part I deal with actual status, explaining term of mobbing, bossing, causes of bullying, characteristic of the participants, bullying in the health service in the Czech republic. In the conclusion I show prevention and tolerance of mobbing and bossing. In practical part I point on assesment of hypothesis and evaluation of the target of my thesis. I suppose that the chicane show up in small measure on the workplace of the intensive care units. From my point of view I think that women working in the intensive care units are getting in a touch of bullying much more than men. In this part I want to show a methodology of research, parameter of complex and evaluation of research. In conclusion I get back to evaluation of research and starting a discussion. Annotation: This thesis deal with aggresion and aggressiveness in humans lifetime, its sorts, starters.In more detail it is focusing for some forms of aggressive behavior as are chicane, ill-usage, racism, anti- semitism. It determinatives them as notions, describe thein after- effects and thein resolutions. At the conclusion this thesis offers set of games, methods and lessons for aggressiveness absorbing of pupils in the school. Some of them are equiping with photos, and the educt of simple questionnaire on the theme aggressive behavior at primary school in region Mladá Boleslav.
The aggressive behaviour in the NHL

Title: The aggressive behaviour in the NHL. Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to describe and analyze NHL fighting phenomenon. The analysis will be realized as a research study. At first, sources of the thesis will be described. Then, there will be mentioned contemporary backgrounds and theoretical points included theory of aggressiveness in everyday sport. Complex view on the aggressive behaviour within the NHL will be assigned as a main part of whole thesis. Main part will contain historical view, ongoing trends of NHL and brief glance to rules of the NHL. Methods: Basic information from the field of NHL fighting was compiled by direct method of research and by method of induction. Research via comparative method was used marginally. Results: Results of my thesis will help to understand and to light up aggressive behaviour phenomenon in NHL. This issue is not published in European countries. Thesis will help to why hockey players do fight, where are roots of the NHL brawling or how is an attitude of officials in NHL.
