The life motives of philanthropists leading to bequeathed donations for charitable purposes

The thesis deals with the motives of philanthropists who made a bequest in their will with charitable purposes. The objective of the work is to describe the issue of donation in the form of such a bequest in a will and the approach of society to this kind of donation. The theoretical part introduces the characteristics of individual donation, philanthropy and donation by will. The practical part is processed in the form of qualitative research with the aim of finding out and understanding the reasons and motives that led philanthropists to make such a decision. Reasons and motives were explored based on semi-structured interviews with narrative elements with four respondents. The identified reasons and motives for donation in the form of a bequest relate to arguments related to donation, credibility, information, purpose and responsibility.
Management of Work Motivation and Stimulation in a Selected Company

The thesis deals with the issue of work motivation and stimulation of employees in the RICHMONT - CZ a.s. company. The theoretical part describes the basic concepts and definitions of work motivation and stimulation and motivational and stimulating means. The practical part is focused on the evaluation of work motivation and stimulation in the company. Through a questionnaire survey presented to a total of 100 employees, information about their work motivation and stimulation was obtained. Based on the analysis of the questionnaire survey data, the results are statistically processed into tables and graphs. On the basis of the results obtained by statistical processing, measures, recommendations and suggestions for improving work motivation and stimulation of employees are presented to the company management.
The Poetics of Ivan Slavík

The thesis will deal with the complete poetic output of Ivan Slavik. The poetics of this Christian author will be characterized by means of formal and motivic analysis. Within the formal analysis of the collections, the development of the author's poetics from metrical verse to free verse will be outlined, the specifics of the verses and poems will also be mentioned. In the motivic analysis, motives will be examined in terms of their dynamic shifting across the author's poetic output. The methodology will include an introduction to the subjects involved in a literary work as conceived by Miroslav Červenka, and the concept of motive will be based on the research of Daniela Hodrová.

The motivation of employees in hospice care

The bachelor thesis deals with the motivation of workers of helping professions, represented in the hospice, to perform the work. The theoretical part is divided into three chapters. The first chapter decribes motivation and motives. The second chapter describes the meaning of life, along with values, attitudes and goals. Third chapter focuses on the hospice and the multidisciplinary team. In the practical part there is one chapter that represents research. In the fourth chapter, the last chapter, I try to interpret the information that I have obtained through semi structured interviews with open questions with individual members of the multidisciplinary team. I focus on the motives that led direct care workers to choose hospice work. I also examine the views of workers on the meaning of life and possible changes in attitudes in personal life after the experience of working in a hospice facility.

This Bachelor's thesis on the Identification of Training needs for Nurses deals with the reasons and motives for further education of nurses. It discusses the history of nursing education both internationally and in the Czech Republic, international criteria for nursing qualifications, and nurses' views of the current educational system. The thesis analyzes educational needs and motivations for training, and touches on factors affecting learning. The conclusion is devoted to forms of lifelong learning. The empirical section examines reasons and motivations for continuing nursing education at present and also assesses nurses' opinions on this issue. The Motivation Issue of Upper Primary Students

The aims of this thesis is to map all issues related to learning motivation (or lack of it) of upper primary students. It tries to analyze factors that reduce or complicate motivation at school and it focuses on the most common consequences of frustration in school environment - boredom and anxiety. It also deals with possibilities how to arouse cognitive, achievement and social needs which play the key role at school, and it attempts to answer questions about the ways a teacher can increase upper primary students' motivation for learning, taking into account the specifics of their ontogeny. Special attention connected with this issue is devoted to the influence of teacher-pupil interaction. The empirical part provides insights from practice, these insights are regarded as a complement of the theoretical part.
