Beginning phase of career manager for non-formal education

This thesis deals with the beginning phase of career manager for organization non- formal education. The work examines the process that precedes the onset school manager to executive positions primarily in terms of motivation, expectations and subsequent reality. It describes the initial phase of his work in a new role in life from the perspective of the management of school facilities and other activities associated with this process . The work is mapped to what extent the entrance to the Director and his previous preparation reflects on the development of controlled organization and quality of education provided . It also describes how to correspond to the expectations of the individual manager of educational facilities with a daily reality in the context of changing conditions providing non-formal education, based on education legislation and the overall development of society in the approach to the use of leisure time. ICT and its use in the work of school catering manager

The bachelor thesis on a topic "ICT and its use at work of school catering manager" in its theoretic part deals with history, selection of specific programmes, their development and manager's acquisition of professional knowledge about information communication technology. The school catering managers' characteristic highlights their professional growth in an area of financing of school catering operation, extensive administration processing by means of ICT brings time saving in their manager position. ICT is a necessary implement for internal and external communication in the whole area of catering. Their ability to improve themselves in modern information technology, to acquire new information, is perceived as lifelong learning. The research part of the thesis is concerned with the structure of respondents, their satisfaction with applied software and ability to use internet and other information technologies at their work which leads to services improvement and contributes to time saving in school catering manager's working hours in different sorts of facilities in the Czech republic.
School as a Community Center - the Reality and Possibilities of Development of Community Education

This thesis deals with the community schools in the Czech Republic and the possibilities of their development. Firstly, it defines basic concepts like community education in an international context and the notion of community schools itself. Secondly, it discusses certain theoretical assumptions and presuppositions as well as current challenges of development of the community schools. The research is based on a multiple case study and it describes the current situation of selected community schools. The current situation of the schools is compared to their situation and conditions six years ago. Basing on the diachronic comparison using the academic document "Analysis of environment in the Czech Republic and the possibility of the development of community schools" of 2008, the research revealed that community concepts in schools are almost unchanged. Finally, the work challenges possible causes of this stagnation of development. Lifelong education for adults with mental disabilities

My thesis deals issue of lifelong learning of adults with mental disabilities. The target of the thesis is to determine " what benefit has lifelong learning for adults with mental disabilities." There is defined issue of mental retardation in the thesis. And also described system of education of people with mental disabilities. Other chapters are focused on lifelong learning for all and on the quality of life of people with mental disabilities. In the next section of the thesis I would like to introduce the Studio Oáza and their activities. I am making research investigation through interviews with adults with mental disabilities in this institution. I chose two research questions to finding target of my thesis: 1) What is reason of visiting of clients' courses in the Studio Oáza and what benefits have these courses for them? 2) What feelings the clients have in the society other people and during the courses in the Studio Oáza?
Innovations in the management of non-formal education

This final thesis deals with innovations in the management of informal education. The main goal of this work is to determine the extent to which the executives of leisure education organizations recognize the need for innovations in different areas of the organization, to compare the extent and content of specific innovations in selected organizations and explore in which areas and based on which stimuli the innovations in these organizations arise. The obtained information is useful for efficient preparation of further training of organization executives and described examples of good practice as an inspiration to improve the performance of leisure and informal education organizations. The theoretical part incorporates leisure and informal education into the overall education system of the Czech Republic and its development is illustrated on the laws and decrees from 1948 to present. Research in the form of structured interview reveals the respondents view on innovations in leisure education and shows the respondents experience with the introduction of innovations in their own organizations. The conclusions of this research clearly show the need for innovation in informal and leisure education for the competitiveness of individual organizations. Comparison of therapeutic concepts and their results at people with physical disability

This master thesis introduces the issue of individual concepts that affect the psychological and motor processes, occurring at people with physical disabilities. It addresses the definition of the basic concepts within both historical and present context. The thesis considers what kind of connection and relationships exist behind the failures of the body scheme and the human psyche, and in greater detail deals with methods that work to improve the quality of life for a person with a physical disability. The research part establishes the situation of comprehensive rehabilitation in the Czech Republic. It is developed according to the preliminary areas: lifelong learning, the status of the comprehensive rehabilitation and procedures used in caring for a person with a physical disability. Activation centres - lifelong learning of adults with mental disability

The master thesis deals with the problem of lifelong learning of adults with mental disability in Activation Centre courses. The aim of this thesis is to introduce the pilot project of Activation Centres as one of the lifelong learning posibilities for adults with mental disability. The mental retardation and adulthood of people with mental disability are briefly defined. The common system of education of people with mental disability in the Czech Republic is described with the emphasis on crucial area of lifelong learning. Activation Centres are defined in detail. The survey, which is monitoring the circumstances of existing education in Activation Centres from the lecturers'and methodists'point of view, is introduced in the conclusion. An essential part of this thesis comprises of the interviews with courses participants themselves. The Comparison of education system of sign language interpreters in the Czech Republic and in the Netherland

This bachelor thesis focuses on the educational training and background of sign language interpreters in the Czech Republic and the Netherlands. The theoretical part deals with the development of interpreting, presenting the specifics of the political and social events affecting the education of sign language interpreters in the Czech Republic and the Netherlands. It continues by examining the education requirements of sign language interpreters and how these are recognized in the legislation of those states. It aims to inform the reader about the current system of basic education for sign language interpreters, on how to support emerging sign language interpreters, and finally describes the system of lifelong learning sign language interpreters in the Czech Republic and the Netherlands. The research part, aims to establish the level of satisfaction of sign language interpreters with their current system of education. Based on the data from the survey. It proposed possible solution to how to support the education for sign language interpreters in the Czech Republic.
