To improve the quality of care that these patients receive, the concept of basal stimulation serves as one of the alternatives of treatment. The implementation of this concept shows positive effects on the overall health of the client when in cooperation with family members. The results of this assignment may be used as a foundation when producing seminars and procedures that serve to educate the healthcare staff and families, in order to achieve the best results in a given issue.
