The Organizational Culture and Self-reliance and Responsibility of Employees

The subject of this text is the organizational culture and the work behaviour. The aim of a dissertation was to identify an elements of the organizational culture that support self-reliance and responsibility in the work behaviour. The second aim was to make a proposal of implementation of desirable organizational culture standard. The organizational culture structure was analysed and the culture standards were described accordance with its effects on work behaviour in the theoretical part of the dissertation. The secondary analyse was realised and described in the empirical part. It was analysed five empirical survey realized in years 1998 -- 2008. The objects of this survey always were the organizational culture and the work behaviour. The results of this dissertation is negation of a thesis that the organizational culture supporting the self-reliance and the responsibility of employees exists.
System of Symbols and its Relation to Social Standards and the Standards of Behaviour in a chosen Organization

This thesis is focused on survey of important symbolic agents, with that the organizational culture is presented in the chosen organization. Part of this thesis deals with the identification of social norms and standards of behaviour, that are thought to be important in this organization. Purpose of this thesis is verify, the relation of symbolic agents to strong embedded and sharable social norms and standards of behaviour in organization in randomly chosen research sample of employees. At the end of the thesis are the results and recommendations for lead of organization.

This diploma thesis deals with the creativity and the options of its development. Creativity is part of everyday human life. The prosperity of any business organization depends on its innovative capabilities. The main source of innovation are company employees, especially those who raise most the creative potential of the company. A partial goal of this work is to theoretically describe the topic of creativity and its importance for business organization. Theoretical pieces of knowledge in area of creativity are followed by their practical application in concrete organization. The main objective of this thesis is to analyze the creative environment of the selected company. This company is a market leader in dairy products in the Czech Republic. Necessary informations to determine the strengths and weaknesses of the company in the area of creativity were obtained by the method of interview and questionnaire On the basis of received informations are suggested personal recommendations to the company.

It informs about the relationship between the individual and organizational culture and the concept of subculture. Next, the organizational culture of distinction and exploring its possibilities. In the practical part is analyzed the organizational culture of a particular organization. The aim of classification is mainly given to the selected culture typology, finding subcultures in the organization and demonstrate the influence of the head of the organization's culture.

In this diploma thesis we deal with the culture and strategy in Hospital Jindřichův Hradec. In the theoretical part the fundamental basis of culture and its change, strategy, strategic analysis and Morton's components and their interactions are defined. The objective of this work is to realize strategic analysis and find out basic problems of hospital. Another objective is to identify the basic content of the organizational culture and define the possibilities of its further shaping. Strategic analysis revealed especially problems with the hospital culture, motivation and communication. Organizational culture serves as a basic integrating element for other parts of the organization therefore we paid it more attention at work - the definition of its basic content (e.g. cooperation, communication, empathy) and possibilities of its change.

Evaluation of organizational culture in hospitals dimensions: teamwork, communication, related to work.

This bachelor´s paper deals with organisation culture of a medical institution and its evaluation in three areas. The theoretical part of the paper defines and deseribes in some detail the areas of communication, team cooperation, and the attitude of nurse to their work.Three aims, which are elaborated in the practical part of the paper, were specified. The aims set were to evaluate the organisation culture in Nemocnice Písek, a.s., in three dimensions: team cooperation, communication, and the attitude of nurse to their work. For these aims, five reserch questions were determined, and these are also elaborated in the practical part of the paper. After having answered the research questions, six hypotheses were formed. Hypothesis One: Nurses are satisfied with communication at their workplace. Hypothesis Two: Nurses evaluate communication with thein superiors positively. Hypothesis Three: Nurses cooperate with all members of the medical team. Hypothesis Four: Nurses evaluate the workplace team positively. Hypothesis Five: Nurses have positive attitude to their work. Hypothesiis Six: Nurses are adequately motivated for their work.The research was performed using qualitative-quantitative method. In the qualitative part of the research, structured interview with the Head Nurses from selected wards of Nemocnice Písek, a.s., were performed. The quantitative part of the research was performed using the inquiry method by means of anonymous questionnaire technique. The research set for the quantitative part constituted of the shift nurses in Nemocnice Písek, a.s.The paper conclusion summarises the results of both qualitative and quantitative research. All research questions were answered, the hypotheses were confirmed, and the aims accomplished. The results point out satisfaction of nurses with communication, motivation, and teamwork, and the quality of human relations in the individual wards of the medical institution selected. The results will be presented to the Management of Nemocnice Písek, a.s. In practice , the paper can be used as a manual that will assist managers of medical institutions in improving communication, team cooperation, motivation, and human and work relations.
