The phenomenon of instructors - just a worker or a personality?

The bachelor thesis is focusing on the phenomenon of instructory according to different points of view. The main object is to chart organisation requirements towards elev traitor and leading mentor with their own perception of themselves in the role and them being aware of a possible progress. Then the thesis focuses on the conditions for choosing team members by the leading mentor. Another researched fact is difference between an instructor as a worker and an instructor with a personality. In the first part the theme is dealt in the teoretical context. The second part is a practical investigation. For the research the author uses half structured interview with instructors of three organisations, representing all the three positions elev traitor, mentor and leading mentor. The results complete the theoretical part.
African-American Women Leaders after 1950s

Thesis abstract The thesis attempts truthfully to illustrate a situation of black female leaders active in the United States of the second half of the twentieth century. In order to cover this period, four black women activists will be focused on as representatives of two different generations. On the one hand, Ella Baker and Fannie Lou Hamer will stand for the older generation because their activist careers culminated in the 1960s. On the other hand, Angela Davis and bell hooks will represent the subsequent decades as it was at that time when their careers matured. A comparison of the two generations will reveal considerable similarities in the four women's perspective on the nature of the struggle against white supremacy. It is necessary to bear in mind that this perspective was to a great extent influenced by a special kind of oppression the women faced as members of a marginalized group, that is, of the black community. Firstly, a detailed examination of the women's childhood and youth will show that it was already at that time when the four black women realized the presence of racism in their lives. Leadership and its impact on employees' approach towards learning

The attention toward organizational learning has increased in last twenty years according to present studies and researches. Organizations have to cope with rapidly changing world and they have to find ways how to succeed in it. This study endeavors to find answers whether and how learning can be supported and accepted in the working environment and what can be improved to do so. Leaders are put into the centre of the interest due to their close effect on their followers. The subject of the study is a Czech located branch of a Dutch bank. The participants of the study come from one of the department. The investigation took place in a form of structured interviews. The results showed that leaders' behavior that was oriented toward learning could significantly influence learning of the subordinates. It was also found that transformational leadership style was applied more often than other styles of leadership by the leaders. Learning was perceived very positively by all the respondents. Interpersonal Check List as a Tool for Assessing Managerial Potential

The aim of this paper is to verify the applicability of Interpersonal Check List for assessing managerial potential, namely leadership potential. The findings of leadership research are summarized and applicability of Interpersonal Check List is theoretically discussed. Available methods for assessing leadership potential are presented, namely personality inventories and Assessment centre methods. Three data sources including 888 respondents in total are used for the analysis. Empirical tests show that employees in leadership positions score higher in several dimensions of Interpersonal Check List, particularly in managerial - autocratic, competitive - exploitive and blunt - aggresive dimensions. The discussion of these findings leads to the conclusion that the mentioned dimensions could be considered as indicators of leadership potential. Leadership in specialists' interpretations and in opinions of Czech internet users

Resume Topic of this thesis is leadership. Its aim is to recapitulate theoretical frame of this subject, and to outline to what extent Czech people (for purposes of this thesis Czech internet users) are familiar with leadership concept in similar way which is presented by authors who write about it. This work is based on ideas of so-called classical management schools, and information about leadership takes not only from books of chosen Czech authors, but also from works of foreign specialists like Peter F. Drucker or John Adair. For theoretical frame are used also some management textbooks like works of Koontz and Weihrich or Vodáček and Vodáčková. My hypothesis and initiative for this work is that for Czech environment leadership still is not much usual concept. There was quantitative survey on sample of Czech population carried out. As the interviewing was done online, it is not possible to present it as fully representative however criterions for choosing respondents corresponded with representative sample of Czech population when considered demographical indicators like gender, age, region or size of residence. The aim of this paper is to verify the applicability of Interpersonal Check List for assessing managerial potential, namely leadership potential. The evolution and findings of leadership research are summarized in the theoretical part of the article. Possible effects of personality traits on leader effectivity are theoretically explained. There is evidence that these traits affect the perception of leaders. The Importance of a Coaching for a Leadership

The thesis on The Importance of Coaching for Leadership consists of the theoretical and the practical parts. The first part contains the explanation of basic concepts of management, leadership and specifies leadership styles and the personality of a manager. Furthermore, this part deals with the motivation and its influence on the action of people. The important part of the thesis is the chapter about coaching, which is focused on the history of coaching. The part deals with the concept and key elements of coaching, the relationship between a coach and a person who is coached and it also mentiones what is not coaching. The practical part consists of the evaluation of the questionnaire survey, whose goal was to discover if the managers of the monitored organisation are aware of coaching and if they are able to use it while managing their subordinates. Suggestions and recommendations for the improvement of the use of coaching for the leaderships the monitored organization are based on these surveys conclusions.

The diploma thesis focuses on the formulation of the concept of leadership. I would like to analyze what is the essence of the leadership and what forms can be found according to sources available. The comparison with real subjects in the management field shall take place. The thesis outcomes will present recommendations based on survey carried out. These recommendations should contribute to a more effective function of the company hand in hand with more satisfied employees.

The dissertation thesis deals with the topic leadership development within businesses operating in the Czech Republic. The main objective of the work is focused on mapping the current trends in leadership development and proposes a model leadership development that is applicable within the framework of the Czech business. In practical part research the research compares different methods of leadership development, according to the size of business, the country of ownership and the industry in which the company operates. In the research framework were mapped the main expected challenges in the economic field by the year 2020 and proposed methods for leadership development. In the context of the work is also described the difference in the concept of leadership role within Czech branches of multinational companies and companies with the Czech ownership.
