Algorithms for Computerized Optimization of Logistic Combinatorial Problems
Bokiš, Daniel ; Peringer, Petr (referee) ; Hrubý, Martin (advisor)
This thesis deals with optimization problems with main focus on logistic Vehicle Routing Problem (VRP). In the first part term optimization is established and most important optimization problems are presented. Next section deals with methods, which are capable of solving those problems. Furthermore it is explored how to apply those methods to specific VRP, along with presenting some enhancement of those algorithms. This thesis also introduces learning method capable of using knowledge of previous solutions. At the end of the paper, experiments are performed to tune the parameters of used algorithms and to discuss benefit of suggested improvements.
Recognition of digits
Gorgol, Martin ; Hynčica, Tomáš (referee) ; Jirsík, Václav (advisor)
This work describes the basic concepts and principles in the field of neural networks. Closer then this work deals with the identification numbers using these networks, in particular, using the back-propagation method. There is a broken process of choosing a set of signs, types of symptoms and of choosing a neural network topology. The aim is to obtain specific results by using the program for working with neural networks.
A Library for Convolutional Neural Network Design
Rek, Petr ; Mrázek, Vojtěch (referee) ; Sekanina, Lukáš (advisor)
In this diploma thesis, the reader is introduced to artificial neural networks and convolutional neural networks. Based on that, the design and implementation of a new library for convolutional neural networks is described. The library is then evaluated on widely used datasets and compared to other publicly available libraries. The added benefit of the library, that makes it unique, is its independence on data types. Each layer may contain up to three independent data types - for weights, for inference and for training. For the purpose of evaluating this feature, a data type with fixed point representation is also part of the library. The effects of this representation on trained net accuracy are put to a test.
Object Recognition by Means of Evolutionary Methods
Lýsek, Jiří ; Škorpil, Vladislav (referee) ; Rábová, Ivana (referee) ; Šťastný, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with usage of evolutionary methods, grammatical evolution particularly in application for object recognition in an image. Basic principles of object recognition and evolutionary methods with focus on grammatical evolution are described. The core of the thesis lies in design of techniques and methods for classifier programs creation using grammatical evolution. Also the designed fitness formula is presented. In the end, created testing and development environment in Java programming language is described.
Popularisation of Science in the Czech Republic
V druhé části jsou popsány rozdíly v učení dospělých a dětí. Třetí část ukazuje subjekty popularizace vědy a následující kapitola, založená na dotazníku, popisuje povědomí obyvatel Brna a jeho okolí o možnostech popularizace vědy. Závěrečná kapitola se věnuje tvorbě popularizačně naučného programu zaměřeného na téma elektřina a magnetismus.

Motivation and Satisfaction of Employees in a Selected Company
Holubová, Monika ; Plodíková, Stanislava (referee) ; Konečný, Štěpán (advisor)
This master´s thesis is focused motivation and satisfaction of employees. The theoretical part focuses on defining the basic concepts of motivation, satisfaction and education. I describe the theory of motivation or the factors of work satisfaction. As education is planned and what is its implementation, defining the concept of learning and total characteristics of employee motivation. In the practical part I characterize a particular company. I also focus on the current motivation of employees. Based on a questionnaire survey, I analyse the current situation, draw conclusions from it and suggest the necessary measures that could be beneficial to both the company and the employees.
Analysis and optimization of the education system in terms of ensuring effective corporate education in a particular organization.
Bukovská, Simona ; Kursch, Martin (advisor) ; Vaněček, David (referee)
This diploma thesis deals with the analysis and optimization of the corporate education system in a specific organization. The theoretical part of the work defines the basic terms associated with education and development of employees using professional literature, it focuses on the issue of corporate education and its connection with the organization's strategy and, among other things, on the basic processes and methods of system education. Furthermore, using the available internal data and information, it describes the organizational structure and the current state of corporate education aimed at rank-and-file employees and managers of selected parts of the organization. The thesis presents the methodology of qualitative research supplemented with a quantitative method in the form of a questionnaire, which was used in the first phase of the research investigation to obtain a wide and diverse portfolio of data from the largest possible number of participating respondents. This phase has the status of preliminary research, as it forms the basis for the implementation and concretization of research interviews. Subsequently, in the next phases of the research, the methods of qualitative research were approached using semi-structured interviews with randomly selected rank-and-file and senior workers...
Comparison of online interactive applications and their use in education
Šašek, Martin ; Leipert, Jiří (advisor) ; Lapeš, Jakub (referee)
The purpose of this thesis is to select a user-friendly interactive application for teaching and to present it in the form of an instructional video including instructions in text form for its use in pedagogical practice. Selection of the most suitable interactive application was made by comparison on the basis of a five-element methodological evaluation scale, which resulted from a literature search and Internet resources and from the experience gained from my own teaching practice. The applications were evaluated on the degree of interactivity, accessibility of the application, availability of the license, language proficiency and user experience with each application. The comparison was then evaluated and the selected Nearpod application was characterized, its features and capabilities were described from the perspective of the teacher and the student. Instructions for its use were created in the form of a set of instructional tutorial videos, which were published on the website https://sites.google.com/view/vyucovat-interaktivne. These videos present the environment of the interactive application Nearpod, show the basic way of working with the application, the preparation of teaching material and focus on practical recommendations for using the tool in daily pedagogical practice. Aspekty využití výukových metod ve výuce praktického vyučování
Kuběja, Josef
The topic of the bachelor thesis is the analysis of teaching methods in vocational education in the field of carpentry. The aim of the thesis is to find out whether something can be changed or modified in the teaching methods in this field so that the graduates gain sufficient knowledge to perform their work in a self-sufficient manner. The work is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part discusses key competences, technical and practical skills and didactic methods. Furthermore, two pedagogical approaches to teaching are pre-sented - the Transmissive and the Constructivist, and the Research-Oriented Tea-ching pedagogical approach. The last chapter presents teaching methods in vocati-onal training and how they are used in teaching. In the practical part, the teaching methods are presented seeded into one teaching day with the same topic and bro-ken-down how this day would look like.
