Beginning phase of career manager for non-formal education

This thesis deals with the beginning phase of career manager for organization non- formal education. The work examines the process that precedes the onset school manager to executive positions primarily in terms of motivation, expectations and subsequent reality. It describes the initial phase of his work in a new role in life from the perspective of the management of school facilities and other activities associated with this process . The work is mapped to what extent the entrance to the Director and his previous preparation reflects on the development of controlled organization and quality of education provided . It also describes how to correspond to the expectations of the individual manager of educational facilities with a daily reality in the context of changing conditions providing non-formal education, based on education legislation and the overall development of society in the approach to the use of leisure time. (Historical) development of the school management and its influence on the development of the education system in Kralovice

The Master's thesis deals with the history of education system in the Czech Republic and with the school management as closely related to the issue. The main focus is put on the historical development of the education system and its management in the town of Kralovice, West Bohemia. The aim of the thesis is therefore to demonstrate the gradual development and changes of the system in connection with the development of the school management within the mentioned territory. In particular, the most significant reforms and events affecting the education system are analysed in the study. The comprehensive view on the general development of the system and its management produced by the thesis can be beneficial for the pedagogical and administrative employees of every management level as well as for the local teachers, students and inhabitants of Kralovice.

The theoretical part describes both general procedures of selection procedures together with other methods, and selection procedures for a managing position in education. Selection process of the school director position from the point of view of Czech teachers and headmasters

This master's thesis deals with the selection process of the school director position. The work is divided into the theoretical and the research part. The theoretical part is concerned with the school director position and its competence, on the other hand with the legislation relevant to the selection process of the school director. In the end of the theoretical part author analyses the selection process in Slovakia. In the practical part author used the questionnaire to find the ideas of Czech teachers and headmasters of the selection process and of the Education Act novelisation. The goal of this thesis is to find how these interested sides perceive the selection process, whether the opinions are the same or different. The conclusions of the literature analysis and the research can be used for the improvement of the school director selection process in the Czech Republic. The work is based on the literature listed at the end and on the questionnaire survey, which was performed with 115 teachers and 13 headmasters. Selfmanagement of headmaster of art school

This diploma thesis deals with the topic of school manager's self-management in the art schools area. Thesis aim was to ascertain what the art schools' headmasters in Pilsen and South Bohemia region reckon as part of self management, what influences their self management and how is this influence displayed in their professional and personal lives. Partial aim of this work was to find out if the headmasters educate themselves in the self management area and if yes in what way. In the theoretical part the work comes out of the human resource management and working performance area. It deals with the headmasters' competences and roles, self management, time management, delegation, burnout syndrome, stress techniques and life balance. It elaborately deals with the emotional intelligence and headmaster's career stages in connection with the self management area is influenced by them. The practise brings research results, which was realized by research and additional interviews. The research found out very interesting discoveries from the pedagogical-art schooling, from the working and personal lives of crucial persons in this educational sphere - art schools headmasters. Selection procedure for the position of school direktor in Central Bohemia Region

The bachelor thesis Selection procedure for the position of school director in Central Bohemia Region is focused on examining the situation in this region due to the realized open competitions for the post of headmaster. The work examines and compares the views of different target groups and is trying to detect shifts in attitude caused by the amendment to the Education Act. The work is intended for headmasters, school founders and the general public, who may be concerned in the selection processes. The important part of the thesis is a summary of information regarding the current legislative framework, new regulatory changes and their impact on the selection processes for the position of school director. The work includes both quantitative and qualitative data concerning the open competitions which took place in the Central Bohemia Region after 1/1/2012. The case study covers the views of various parties involved in the selection procedure. This research aims to deepen the knowledge within this area. In the thesis, there are described different aspects of selection process, and there are mentioned possible areas where the approach to the selection of a headmaster may be improved in the future. Economic Literacy of Headmaster

This diploma thesis deals with examining the economic literacy of a headmaster. The topic has been chosen because of the belief that a good financial management is important for the development of a school. Another reason for the choice is the fact that there is virtually no set of unambiguously defined responsibilities and no set of suggested knowledge in the economic area which would provide guidance for headmaster in his work. The aim of the theoretical part is to find the necessary information, to define the key terms and to place the economics of the school management into the legislative framework. The practical (research) part examines the actual state of knowledge and the activity of headmasters in the financial management of the school. The difficulty, the risk of financial management in relation to other managerial activities and the comparability of different types and sizes of schools are also examined here. The outcome of this thesis is to give the definition and the content of the economic and financial literacy of a headmaster. It is also to determine the level of the financial literacy of the interviewed headmasters.
