Assessment in Biology Education in Trebic, Znojmo and surroundings

Bachelor thesis describes the assessment methods used in teaching natural science at selected schools on Trebic and Znojmo district. The survey among students showed that teachers mostly use the written assessment, during which mainly focus on knowledge of the concepts and definitions. Nearly three quarters of students have experience with formative assessment. Replies teachers from classes, in which the survey was conducted, confirmed these findings from questionnaires for students.
Identification and evaluation of websites of harm reduction interventions targeting illicit drug users in the Czech Republic

The thesis describes the course and results of the research into the field of Harm Reduction (HR) through the internet websites in the Czech language. Nowadays the internet forms an inseparable part of most people's lives from all social classes. This fact is reflected in the interests of both service providers for drug users and laymen interested in drug issues. Unfortunately, according to current research we do not know much about what information and in which quality and range can people find about drug Harm reduction on the internet. Therefore, the aim of this thesis was to identify and evaluate internet websites in the field of harm reduction intervention focused on the users of illegal drugs in the Czech Republic. Internet websites were evaluated not only with respect to the contents and range of the information provided but also with respect to topicality, functionality and objectivity. What was found were 13 Czech complex websites, 7 professional HR organisations and also 6 non-professional HR websites. The websites of professional organisations in most cases fulfilled the essential criteria of authority, objectivity and topicality. Assessment centre - validity, possibility and risks in the usage the company's procedure method

My rigorous thesis is focused on the issue of Assessment Centre method (AC), its validity, contribution and objectivity, ethical rules and difficulties. The selection of competences studied by this method is discussed here as well. Strong and weak sides of the method are described by the SWOT analysis and possible opportunities and threats are pointed out in the work. The structure and the implementation of the AC method as well as its opportunities and real use in practice are described in the theoretical part of the work. This part of the work is also focused on the particular methods used within the AC methods. The differences between the Assessment Centres and Development Centres are brought up here. The AC method is compared with the other procedures which are used for the selection and development of employees. Opportunities and limitations of the validity of the measurement are discussed in this part of the work. The practical part of the work is devoted to the comparison of the AC method with other methods of selection and evaluation concerning the contribution and objectivity. Evaluation of results in global and development education

Diploma thesis deals with the evaluation of results in global development education. It describes bases and content of global development education and its expected results. It compares quantitative and qualitative methods of measuring results considering their ability to measure real contribution of the evaluated activity. It highlights the need to demonstrate the validity and reliability of a measurement. It explains the role of values, criteria and indicators in the evaluation. Furthermore, the thesis deals with the measurement of contribution specifically in the area of global development education. It provides an overview of measurements made in global development education according to their validity. It also offers a list of quality criteria used in global development education. The research part of the thesis presents the results of an investigation which aimed to determine how selected Czech organizations dealing with global development education evaluate the results of their activities. It tries to determine what facilitates the evaluation of results and what represents a barrier to it. It results from a qualitative analysis of interviews and written materials provided by the organizations.
The Proposal for Variable System of Employee Remuneration in a Selected Company

This bachelor's thesis deals with question of the system of remuneration and evaluation of employees in the join – stock company. In the first, theoretical part of this work is  focused on the knowledge of theories regarding methods of evaluating personnel, incentives, benefits and remuneration.  In the second, practical part of this bachelor's thesis analysis the current state of the remuneration system of employees in  the  company. This analysis is enriched by the views of employees. The aim of this thesis deals with proposals to improve the variable system of remuneration and make the system more convenient for the company and its employees.
Assessment of the economic efficiency of the investment project

The subject of this thesis is to assess the economic efficiency of the investment project. The theoretical part focuses on the basic definitions related to investment decisions on the investment project and the project life cycle, cash flows and their predictions and recommendations to set them correctly, methods useful for assessing the effectiveness of the investment project and the indicators presenting the financial stability and feasibility of the project as well as factors affecting the overall investment decision, and finally the possibility of financing of the investment projects in the private sector. In the practical part there are the theoretical findings applied in the real investment project. Specifically, there will be analyzed the characterized investment project and its possible alternatives and finally made the assessment of economic efficiency.

This thesis is dealing with the hydroecological monitoring watercourses. The HEM – Hydroecological monitoring is part of the assessment of the status of watercourses, whitch is a requirement of the European Water Framework Directive. The content of this thesis is to evaluate a small stream throught two chosen methods (HEM and Bavarian method). The methods is compare with each other and with the state of the stream in 2008. The aim of the study is to compare the suitability of methods and their application.

Bachelor thesis is focused on the system of performance appraisal in a particular company, Rudolf Jelinek, Ltd. The goal of the work to analyze the current appraisal system in the company and find possible quality and effectiveness of the system, which is based on theoretical knowledge gained from literature. The first part is dedicated to the solely theoretical facts, such as trends in assessment and to the criteria and methods that are used in the evaluation as well. As the company is mostly filled with technical-economic focused employees, the practical part is focused only on this segment of employees. The practical part of the thesis includes a situational analysis of the existing appraisal system at Rudolf Jelinek, Ltd., anonymous survey focused only on the perception of the current evaluation, and finally on identification of the pros and cons of the current system of evaluation and the suggestion for improvement.
