Opinions and Attitudes of Patients to Differences in Health Care Systems in the Czech Republic and Germany

This thesis focuses on the differences in their health systems. Official statistics provide an objective view on the situation in both healthcare systems. Nevertheless those statistics don't include patient's opinions. A questionnaire survey was therefore created to include their point of view. Objectives: The aim of this thesis was to compare selected characteristics of the Czech and German health care systems, to recognize the major differences between them and to identify their greatest advantages and disadvantages. Methods: The survey was realized in selected towns in the Czech Republic and in Germany. All pharmacies in these towns were asked to take part. Web design of a construction company

This diploma Thesis deals with problematics of web design in civil engineering. Specifically, it focuses on the web design of a projective construction office. The basic concepts relevant to the problematics are defined in the theoretical part of this Thesis. The practical part begins with initial analysis which consists of an opening workshop with a client, a survey and competition research. Based on the analysis findings, target group and project direction are set. Following these steps, the web design is created. It consists of several parts – generation of ideas and possible solutions, information architecture, sketching, prototyping, prototype testing and graphic design itselfs, which is output of this diploma Thesis.

Launch a New Service to the Market

The bachelor thesis is focused on business plan development for an introduction of land maintenance services to the market. More specifically, the service will offer grass cutting and pruning of trees. The work is divided into two parts. Initial part is theoretical and contains a literature search and definitions. Practical part is based on these findings. Second part is practical and is focused on business plan development. The plan contains an analysis of inner and outer environment of the company, description of offered services, marketing and financial plan.

Online Comparators in Insurance Business

This bachelor thesis deals with problems of on-line insurance comparators. The theoretical part is devoted to the importance of insurance products, the pricing of insurance products, distribution channels of insurance products, on-line comparators and insurance products that can be arranged on them. Practical part deals with depth analysis of clients' awareness, behaviour and needs on the market of on-line comparators and the experience of clients with comparators, evaluates priorities, why they arrange insurance in this way and maps benefits to clients. The results of the questionnaire survey are formulated in the hypothesis evaluation. The conclusion summarizes its own findings and evaluation.

eGovernment from the Slovak citizen's point of view

This thesis is specifically concerned with the assessment of eGovernment from the Slovak citizens point of view. There are three major objectives of this thesis: to familiarize the reader with the concept of eGovrnment, to investigate into the past of the eGovrnment in Slovakia and to analyze the present state of the services concerning their use. These objectives are achieved by the extensive research of the data on the digitalization of public administration. Based on the results of the questionnaire survey, the study demonstrates the citizens' evaluation of the current situation in Slovakia. Namely, the questionnaire serves to assess the respondents level of satisfaction with the particular services, as well as the extent to which are these services used. Furthermore, it investigates users attitude towards the potential changes and new possibilities in the field of eGovernment. The theoretical part of this study includes the overview of the services available, here, in Slovakia, along with those available in the foreign countries and the key terms and pillars of the digitalization of public administration. The questionnaire survey, the evaluation and the analysis of the utilization of services are the main focus points included in the empirical part.

Analysis of knowledge level in common local vertebrate species at children from different school types and hobby groups This thesis deals with the research of practical knowledge and skills of students of primary and secondary schools. It targets exploring of cognition of local common species of vertebrates (fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds and mammals). It takes up this research (Lang, Pravda, 1971). It takes a large part of their methodology and compares the results with selec- ted reference species. The results are presented in graphs and chart tables.
