Chronic somatic disease in adolescence

The aim of this work is to introduce the problematic of chronic somatic illness in adolescence. In some parts the ontogenetical approach is used. We describe the experience of the impacts of the illness in the area of closest relationship of the adolescent and his need to be seen as normal. The influence on family relationships is also described. So is the question of adherence and the relationship between the adolescent and health-staff. We describe also the influence on school performance and peers relationships. Attitudes of the adolescent to the future are also a topic of this work. Chapter seven describes possible psychosocial interventions for the adolescent and the family systém. The research proposal is aimed to find relationships between the HRQOL of adolescents suffering from psoriasis and their age, sex and some aspects of social and behavioral functioning. Opportunities to support parental competences for underaged mothers

The diploma thesis deals with the possibilities of supporting parental competences for underage mothers. It introduces the period of adolescence in girls, the issues of early pregnancy and early motherhood, and together with the practical part, it deals with the importance of parental competences and their strengthening in the context of social work. The aim of the final thesis is to describe the difficult situation of girls who became mothers at a minor age, and further to find out and describe whether, to what extent and in what way the parental competences of minor mothers were or are being supported in the home environment. To achieve the results, a qualitative research strategy was chosen using a semi- structured interview that was conducted with five minor mothers. The conducted investigation points out that the interviewed girls who decided to raise their child at home were not offered or provided any support for parental competences by experts. Due to the seriousness and complexity of the situation of early motherhood, the results of the survey should lead to some reflection on the involvement of helping professions and to further research and finding out how to make the difficult life situation easier for underage mothers.
The influence of social networks on the idea of ​​a healthy lifestyle among young girls

Michaela Soukupová Title: The influence of social networks on the idea of a healthy lifestyle among young girls Objectives: The main goal of the thesis is to find out and then describe how social networks influence young girls in selected factors of a healthy lifestyle. The secondary goal of the thesis is to find out what is the positive and negative influence of social networks on selected lifestyle factors among young girls. Methods: A quantitative research method (internet questionnaire) was chosen for the thesis due to a broader focus and the need for more respondents, combined with a qualitative method (semi-structured interview). 50 female respondents aged 15-18 took part in the internet questionnaire, a 17-year-old minor and an 18-year-old adult took part in the semi-structured interview. The survey was created in the Survio program and placed on the social networks Instagram and Facebook. The interview took place online via the Skype platform. Results: 50 respondents aged 15-18 participated in the questionnaire and 2 girls aged 17 and 18 were involved in the semi-structured interview. The relationship of emotional attachment in adolescence to the development of problematic use of social networks: a questionnaire survey

Background: Addictive and excessive use of the Internet and social networks are viewed as increasingly relevant topics and are widely discussed in professional and non-professional society. Research shows that these problematic forms of social network use are most prevalent among younger individuals, especially adolescents and young adults. Emotional attachment theory is one of the many important theories of addiction science that offers an explanation for the development of addictive forms of behaviour. Aim: The aim of this thesis is to describe the relationship of emotional attachment in adolescence to the onset of social network use and the development of its problematic use. Methods: A cross-sectional online questionnaire survey was conducted. The questionnaire consisted of two original sections of questions and the BFAS and ECR-RS questionnaire. Respondents were selected using a combination of self-selection and the Snowball method. The questionnaire's criteria for the respondents were age 18-26 years and having at least 1 established account on any social network. Awareness of Sexuality - Sex Education in Primary and Secondary Schools

(EN) The topic of this bachelor thesis is the teaching of sex education in primary and secondary schools in the Czechia and selected foreign countries. The thesis describes the basic concepts related to sexuality and sex education. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate and compare how sex education is implemented in different countries. Furthermore, the thesis focuses on how information is conveyed to pupils in the subject of sex education and what are the aims of this subject. Subsequently, the basic methods of teaching sex education and the approaches to this subject in different countries are also described. The thesis concludes with a summary of the results and proposing recommendations for improving the quality of teaching sex education in primary and secondary schools in the Czechia.
Pubescent girls' awareness about the menstrual cycle

The menstrual cycle is a natural process in the life of almost every woman. For this reason, more emphasis should be placed on menstrual cycle education and awareness. Proper education about menstruation and the menstrual cycle positively affects the physical and mental health of the girl. Currently, there are many sources of information about menstruation and menstrual cycle, including books, magazines, websites, and mobile apps. However, it is important that girls have access to reliable sources of information to gain accurate and comprehensive information. This bachelor thesis is designed as a theoretical-practical work. The theoretical part describes the changes during the sexual matur of girls, the physiology and disorders of the menstrual cycle, intimate and menstrual hygiene and methods how to educate girls about the menstrual cycle. The practical part deals with the analysis of an anonymous questionnaire survey involving 106 girls in age between 11-15 years. The evaluation of psysical ability of secondary school children among chosen Prague schools

The work focuses on the evaluation of physical fitness of students, who are 12 and 13 years old. The main aim is to assess the physical fitness of students at general high school and primary school with sports classes. As a part of the thesis, standardized testing will be conducted using the UNIFITTEST (6-60) battery, and two modified tests with their own evaluation tables will be created. The results of the tests will be compared with standardized or modified tables and evaluated according to point standards. The survey will gather data regarding extracurricular physical activity, according to which a trained individual is identified. These individuals will be defined as those who train for at least 3 hours, twice a week. The survey will also collect basic anthropometric data for measuring BMI. All of these aspects were put into context and the results proved, that primary school sports classes achieved better results than general high school children in most tests. By comparing the statistical data, it was proven that although the results are different, the differences are inappreciable at the level of statistical significance. Types of religiosity of Czech youth

This study examines the religiosity of Czech youth. The theoretical framework delves into the nuances of religiosity, its various types, and the factors that influence its manifestation. It also elucidates the historical underpinnings of secularization in the Czech Republic and provides insight into the contemporary attitudes of Czech youth towards religion. Furthermore, it explores the concept of adolescence, detailing the religious socialization process within families, as well as the prevalence of atheism among Czech youth. The empirical aspect of the research investigates the typologies of religiosity among university students through a qualitative approach involving semi-structured interviews. The findings provide an interpretation of the attitudes of adolescents towards religion and their experiences with the supernatural.
Rozdíly stravování mezi žáky SŠ a jejich životní styl

The bachelor´s thesis is focused on the eating habits of high school students and their lifestyle. The aim of the theoretical part is to explain the issues of eating, healthy lifestyle and to define the factors, that affect this issue. The theoretical part also focused on clarifying the need for macro and micronutrients for organism during adolescence and deriving consequences inappropriate eating and lifestyle. The practical part is devoted to quantitative research which takes the form of a questionnaire survey. The aim of the practical part was to find out and compare the re-sults in eating and lifestyle between the pupils of the graduation field of the hotel indus-try and the field of study chef-waiter. The respondents for this finding were pupils of a selected high school in the Vyškov district.
How pupils perceive their bodies during puberty

This thesis deals with the topic of the human body, its perception and self-assessment in adolescent girls and boys at the second stage of primary school, more precisely in pupils of the sixth and ninth grades. The aim of the thesis is to explore the issue from, for example, a psychological or historical perspective. Furthermore, to assess the subjective perception of the body during puberty in selected pupils of the second grade of primary school. At the same time, to compare the differences in the perception of one's own body between boys and girls and between sixth and ninth grades. At the same time to find out whether there is a noticeable difference between the pupils and whether they are satisfied with their bodies or not. Subsequently, to uncover possible causes of body dissatisfaction among adolescents and to find factors that may influence self-acceptance. The thesis is divided into two main parts. The theoretical part discusses the topic of adolescence and its characteristics, as well as, for example, self-concept, self-esteem or the influence of the media on the way one views one's own body.
