Menstruační cyklus je přirozený proces v životě téměř každé ženy. Z tohoto důvodu by měl být na edukaci a osvětu o menstruačním cyklu kladen větší důraz. Informovanost o menstruaci a menstruačním cyklu pozitivně ovlivňuje fyzické i psychické zdraví dívky. V této době existuje mnoho zdrojů informací o menstruaci a menstruačním cyklu, včetně knih, časopisů, webových stránek a mobilních aplikací. Je však důležité, aby dívky měly přístup ke spolehlivým zdrojům informací, pro zisk přesných a ucelených informací. Tato bakalářská práce je koncipována jako teoreticko-praktická. Teoretická část popisuje změny během pohlavního dospívání dívek, fyziologii a poruchy menstruačního cyklu, intimní a menstruační hygienu a způsoby vzdělávání dívek v oblasti menstruačního cyklu. Praktická část se zaobírá rozborem anonymního dotazníkového šetření, kterého se účastnilo 106 dívek ve věku 11-15 let. Před samotným rozdáním dotazníků byl zákonným zástupcům rozdán informovaný souhlas s dotazníkovým šetřením a z důvodu nízkého věku a citlivosti tématu respondentek byla striktně zachována anonymita dívek. Dotazník byl rozdělen na dvě části. V první části dotazníku byla zjišťována vlastní zkušenost dívek o menstruačním cyklu a jakým způsobem byly o menstruačním cyklu informovány. For this reason, more emphasis should be placed on menstrual cycle education and awareness. Proper education about menstruation and the menstrual cycle positively affects the physical and mental health of the girl. Currently, there are many sources of information about menstruation and menstrual cycle, including books, magazines, websites, and mobile apps. However, it is important that girls have access to reliable sources of information to gain accurate and comprehensive information. This bachelor thesis is designed as a theoretical-practical work. The theoretical part describes the changes during the sexual matur of girls, the physiology and disorders of the menstrual cycle, intimate and menstrual hygiene and methods how to educate girls about the menstrual cycle. The practical part deals with the analysis of an anonymous questionnaire survey involving 106 girls in age between 11-15 years. Prior to the actual distribution of the questionnaires, informed consent for the survey was given to the legal representatives, and due to the young age of the respondents, the anonymity of the participants was mainteained.
