The phenomenon of the new
Hodec, Markus E. ; Sepp, Hans Rainer (advisor) ; Stenger, Georg (referee) ; Schmiedl-Neuburg, Hilmar (referee)
The present work on the phenomenon of the new sees itself as an introductory structure of kainology. In doing so, it is pursuing two goals. On the one hand, it seeks the establishment of a new philosophical concept and an independent philosophical method, kainology. On the other hand, the main scope of this investigation applies to the problematization of the phenomenon of the new. In order to take a systematic look at the new, the work is divided into three sections, each of which produces its own partial result. The first section deals with the history of the new. Exemplifying the ontological opposition of Heraclitus and Parmenides, the new emerges as a phenomenon that can be treated more precisely in terms of becoming rather than in terms of being. The second section is dedicated to the method. The kainological method is based on the one hand on dialectics as formulated by Hegel and further developed by Adorno. On the other hand, kainology borrows from the method of phenomenology, namely Husserl's. The complementarity of the two pioneering achievements results in four main methodological elements for kainology: first person singular, from fact to Wesen, the included middle and subject-object. After the history of the new has been traced and the method of kainology established, it is time to examine the...
Continuity of Aging
Ach-Hübner, Klarisa ; Valouch, Štěpán (referee) ; Hora, Jan (advisor)
The thesis deals with alternative solutions to the current form of health and social care for the elderly. It addresses the problem of over-specialisation of care, which results in the deteriorating condition of the client requiring more frequent changes of care settings. The thesis builds on a pre-diploma project that explored the differences between different types of care. Where meaningful, it proposes to combine the different types of care into a coherent whole - a stable home. This offers continuity of care, stability of relationships between clients and also to staff, and constancy of environment. The stable home is presented in the form of a more generally applicable typology and then tested on a specific design for a home on náměstí Míru in Brno.
Gap options (třída Kapitána Jaroše, Brno, CZ)

Characteristics and age of the trees with exceptional epiphytic lichens in forest stands in traditionally inhabited landscape: case study in Nature reservation Týřov
Minářová, Ludmila ; Hofmeister, Jan (advisor) ; Halda, Josef (referee)
In order to conserve the species richness of epiphytic lichens in Central Europe, it is necessary to understand the environmental conditions that especially rare lichen species with a narrower ecological niche or limited dispersal capacity require. The aim of this thesis was to assess the importance of age of different tree species and related factors such as bark pH and bark coarseness for rare epiphytic lichen species. To include the largest possible range of potentially significant explanatory variables, light conditions and the area of the reserve surrounding the given tree were also examined. Data were collected at the Týřov National Nature Reserve site, which was described in the research of Vondrák et al. (2022) as a unique hotspot of lichen biodiversity, as they found 787 species of lichens and related taxa there. The research sample consisted of 55 trees of five species (Acer platanoides, Carpinus betulus, Fagus sylvatica, Fraxinus excelsior, Quercus petraea) that were inventoried in the research by Vondrák et al. (2022) and belonged to moderately to exceptionally rich in rare lichen species. The rarity of lichens was assessed according to the Red List of Lichens of the Czech Republic (Liška & Palice, 2010). Dendrochronological analysis was used to determine the age of the included trees....

Functions in examples and counterexamples
Janda, David ; Pilous, Derek (advisor) ; Zhouf, Jaroslav (referee)
The aim of my Bachelors thesis is to explicate students coming to the uni- versity the key problems in fundamentals of mathematical analysis. I focus on the most notable terms of continuity and limit, which these secondary students were acquainted with. However, majority of them just intuitively and informaly. I am trying to point out the fact, that the knowledge of many students is distortid and uncomplete. As a result it is necessary to practise and clarify this knowledge so that the intuitive imagination of these terms corresponds to the formal definition. I am trying to get this point by brea- king of intuitive imaginations of students by counterexamples. Important is a chapter named The Construction of Functions, which contains instructi- ons leading to the finding functions with specific features. Not only these features, described in this thesis, but also more complex such as derivation, primitive function or uniform convergence. It is a consequence of the fact, that the principle of examples to practise these terms is in many sights similar and repetitious. In chapters named Continuity and Limit, I am interpreting these terms using the special examples, which are in my opinion optimal for rehearsing. My intention is to help illustrate selected problematical sections of mathematical analysis.
Comparation of official energy policies of SR between 1998-2012
Mačuga, Radovan ; Petříček, Tomáš (advisor) ; Romancov, Michael (referee)
The main aim of this bachelor's thesis is analysis of official energy policies of the Slovak Republic in the period of time from 1998 to the presence. The thesis is conducted in the spirit of methods of qualitative research, namely diachronic interpretative comparative study. The primary aim of the thesis is to analyse official strategic documents dealing with the energy policy in the examined time period. The paper deals with two research tasks. First task of the paper is to examine whether there is continuity among individual strategic documents, as well as whether there is continuity among the goals which are set within these documents. In other words, the aim is to find out whether these documents are knit together. The second aim is to find out to what extent where these goals set in strategic documents fulfilled in the reality. In other words, the paper aims to examine whether policies undertaken by the executive of the Slovak republic were in accordance with official energy policies.
Decrees of the President of the Republic - constitutional and international contexts
Velebil, Petr ; Gronský, Ján (advisor) ; Pavlíček, Václav (referee)
- anglický jazyk In my thesis I deal with presidential decrees in constitutional and international context. It consists of 5 parts. There are preconditions for the emergence of decrees in the first part. This international-legal recognition of the Czechoslovak government in exile, the theory of legal and political continuity of Czechoslovakia, uninterrupted presidency of dr.Beneš and the withdrawal of the Munich Agreement. The second part talks about the concept of issuing decrees. In the third part is the most important content of constitutional decrees. The fourth section deals specifically about formal-legal, material-legal and political continuity. In the last part I deal with today's issue of the validity of the decrees and decrees of the Czech Republic by accession to the European Union. Government in exile was recognized by Great Britain in 1940. It was very important because it could arise decrees. It arranged the constitutional decree Nr. 2/1940 official bulletin of Czechoslovakia, which established the emergence of decrees. Decrees of the President of the Republic published a proposal to the government. The State Council worked on decrees since 1942, received as an advisory vote. This decree suspended formal-legal continuity. The situation changed even Slovak National Council, because...

Lelková, Tereza ; Šťastná, Jaroslava (advisor) ; Kodymová, Pavla (referee)
Key words: Disability, mental retardation, social services, comprehensiveness, continuity, availability. Abstract (in English): The aim of the diploma thesis is to map the needs of persons with disabilities with a focus on persons with mental retardation from birth until the end of their life and also quantity, diversity and quality of social services with emphasis on continuity and comprehensiveness in the former district town of Rychnov nad Kneznou. In this thesis, I will focus on the challenges and needs of families in which a child with disabilities was born and the amount of support and care that the child received in the past and gets in the present. Also, I point out the difficulties associated with the availability of social services for people with disabilities and their families in a village located 20 km from the district town or regional town. In the practical part, I perform empirical investigation of families with children with disabilities where some of them will come from the district town and the surrounding area and some of them from more isolated parts of Rychnov region.
