Štěpánková, Helena ; Honců, Pavla (advisor) ; Kaucká, Eva (referee)
This bachelor's thesis focuses on the current practice of gynecological physiotherapy in the Czech Republic. Research was done by structured interviews. The aims of the thesis were: to map physiotherapy procedures in the field of gynecology, to identify the approaches of physiotherapists to the treatment of various gynecological problems, to identify their educational needs, to identify how they collaborate with other medical specialists. The research combines quantitative and qualitative analysis, with the quantitative part focusing on the attitudes of physiotherapists towards the challenges of starting in the field of gynecological physiotherapy and their further education, while the qualitative part examines the variability of approaches by physiotherapists to treatment and collaboration with medical specialists. The conclusions of the quantitative part suggest that gynecologists are not the main source of information about gynecological physiotherapy for most patients. Instead, they obtain information through recommendations from acquaintances or by searching online. Interestingly, the majority of respondents adapt and modify the methods learned from courses based on their experiences and the needs of their patients. This approach to method modification contributes to the flexibility and...
The impact of AI tools on higher education students
Lacina, Ondřej ; Soukup, Petr (advisor) ; Remr, Jiří (referee)
In the world of rapidly evolving technologies, the last two years have seen a massive expansion of artificial intelligence. We are therefore all encountering emerging AI tools in our everyday lives. The thesis titled The Impact of AI Tools on Higher Education Students focuses on the ways in which students of Czech universities approach these new emerging technologies. After explaining the notion of artificial intelligence, the fundamental breakdown of the tools is outlined. The possible good and negative elements of these new instruments are also discussed. For the research, a mixed research design is adopted, which separates the analysis into two sections using the explanatory sequential design's processes. In the first step, a quantitative questionnaire survey was undertaken, with respondents divided proportionally into ten quotas based on the ISCED-F 2013 category. Semi-structured interviews were used in the second stage to augment the questionnaire survey. The analysis resulted in the key trends in the use of AI tools among students of Czech universities. High focus is given on the frequency of use, preferred tools, usual purposes of usage in academic, private, and professional life, faith in the generated information, and worries about potential negative consequences. The usual user groups for...

Title: Proposal for a new study program Healthy lifestyle Objectives: The aim of the thesis is to design an innovative and comprehensive Healthy Lifestyle study programme that is internationally competitive and responds to current needs and trends in society. The proposal aims to provide a universal educational foundation that can be adapted to different institutions to effectively meet all requirements and demands in the area of healthy lifestyle. Methods: Comparative and qualitative methods of document analysis are used, focusing on the level of lifestyle of the Czech population and comparison of study programmes of public and private universities in the Czech Republic and abroad. Another method used is expert assessment through an electronic questionnaire, which provided expert feedback on the curriculum proposal, which is crucial for refining and shaping the final version of the proposal. The combination of theoretical exploration and practical evaluation allows for a well-grounded curriculum. Results: The research confirms that the current study offer in the Czech Republic does not sufficiently respond to the rapid changes in society related to the growing emphasis on health and preventive care. The population of the Czech Republic needs increased support for healthy lifestyle and current...
Employment of the school chromatograph GC-mini for the determination of methanol and ethanol in school practice
Gálová, Karolína ; Šmejkal, Petr (advisor) ; Stratilová Urválková, Eva (referee)
Bakalářská práce Autor: Karolína Gálová Využití školního chromatografu GC-mini pro stanovení methanolu vedle ethanolu ve školní praxi Abstrakt - anglický jazyk The main topic of this work is to investigate the possibilities of using the school gas chromatograph GC-mini in teaching at secondary schools within the topic of chromatographic analysis. Despite the expansion of the method, the teaching of gas chromatography remains rather rare. Specifically, the work focuses on the optimization and determination of methanol alongside ethanol, which is a practically relevant topic for understanding the analysis of alcoholic beverages and methanol-containing samples, and a potentially motivating topic for teaching. The thesis covers the design of experiments, methodologies, and practical aspects of using the GC-mini chromatograph. Additionally, it includes a survey of school educational programs to determine the occurrence of chromatography and gas chromatography in secondary school curricula. As part of this work, laboratory experiments aimed at determining the content of methanol and ethanol in various samples were conducted. The results of these experiments provide information on the efficiency and reliability of the GC-mini school chromatograph for the quantitative and qualitative analysis of these substances....

Vosková, Veronika ; Kotlík, Kamil (advisor) ; Strnad, Pavel (referee)
Title: Health physical education in the Czech and Slovak educational systems Objectives: The aim of the diploma thesis is to provide a comprehensive view of the issue of health physical education (HPE) in the Czechia and Slovakia, its specifics, historical development and current state. The sub-goals of the work were to establish international cooperation for obtaining information regarding health physical education in Slovakia and to establish a framework for the provision of physical education in the Czechia and Slovakia, as well as the personal attitudes of those involved in the pedagogical process in relation to HPE. Methods: This thesis has a mixed nature with a predominance of theoretical concepts, which has a descriptive analytical character. The approach of analysing literary sources best suited the needs of the work. In addition, a questionnaire survey was conducted, in which the research sample consisted of primary and secondary school teachers in Czechia and Slovakia. The survey was conducted online through two non-standardized questionnaires created according to the specifics of the target group. Results: Within this thesis, theoretical findings from the field of HPE were summarized - its definition, function, goals, tasks, relationship to other related scientific disciplines, didactics...
Modelovací úlohy - Role strategií při procesu transformace mentální představy do formální reprezentace
GEYER, Jakub
Modeling tasks, consisting in the transformation of a mental image into the formal representation, very often occur in the study of computer science, mathematics, but also in other technical and non-technical fields. From the didactic point of view, it is interesting in modeling tasks (among others), which methods/procedures solvers (students) use to manage more demanding complex tasks. It is often possible to encounter students, who have significant problems solving complex tasks (or they are not able to solve them satisfactorily at all), even though they did not have any problems with similar simpler tasks before during the course. A possible explanation can be seen in the suboptimal use of modeling strategies (e.g. divide&conquer, iterative approach, etc.) or their total absence. This research is focused on the analysis of the role of strategies in modeling tasks, the possibilities of their support/development and teaching methods. The study is conducted, which aimed to analyze the possible impact of strategies in the procedures of university students in solving modeling tasks in the areas of 3D modeling and databases. The goal of the research was also to analyze the possibility of generalization of modeling strategies and their transferability between domains with different type of model.
