Title of the Bachelor's Thesis: Comparison of public and private education in kindergartens Abstract: The main goal of the work is to compare education in public and private kindergartens - by comparing school maturity and readiness of preschool children attending both public and private kindergartens. The theoretical framework of the work is based on the characteristics of children of preschool age, the legislative definition of kindergartens and the description of individual educational programs of different types of kindergartens. The practical part of the work evaluates and summarizes results of research conducted through a questionnaire survey among parents of preschoolers in the capital city of Prague and provides answers to set research questions. The Proposal of Business Plan for the Foundation of a Kindergarten

The bachelor thesis is a proposal of a business plan for the establishment of a private kindergarten. The reason for choosing a given sector is the insufficient capacity of vacancies in pre-existing kindergartens. The thesis is divided into three parts. The first part contains theoretical background. The analytical part is based on the analysis of the market of the Olomouc region and specifically of the city of Olomouc, where the kindergarten will be placed. The knowledge gained from the previous two parts unifies the proposal that applies the acquired knowledge to practice. The proposal is based on market analyzes for the Olomouc Region and it consists of marketing and financial plan.

Cieľom diplomovej práce je predstaviť návrh podnikateľského zámeru na založenie súkromnej materskej školy Montessori. Diplomová práca je rozdelená do troch častí. Prvá časť sumarizuje teoretické poznatky. Druhá časť sa zaoberá analýzou trhu. Posledná časť práce obsahuje popis štruktúrovaného podnikateľského plánu vrátane organizačnej časti a finančného plánu, ktoré sú založené na výsledkoch predchádzajúcich častí práce.

The Establishment of Private Kindergarten

This diploma thesis deals with the business plan of the establishment of private kindergarten in Brno. A business plan is being developed for the establishment of kindergarten as a business operated under a trade license. Diploma thesis is a response to the current situation prevailing in the market of children preschool education when offer of kindergartens services is quite insufficient to demand for them and that created space for private kindergarten entry to this market. This diloma thesis deals with the conditions for the successful establishment and operation of the kindergarten, including an analysis of the business environment marketing plan financial plan and the steps for implementing the business plan.

Management of kindergartens in private and public sector

This diploma thesis is focuses on management in private and public kindergarten. The aim of the thesis is find out specifics of management in two different preschool institutions. Diploma thesis is consisting of theoretical and practical parts. First part of theoretical thesis inform about public and private sector briefly. The main topic of theoretical part is describing different functions of management, which are important for the functioning of the school. It includes the areas of school management, school funding, but also personnel management. Furthermore, it is also focuses on the legislative conditions, curricular documents and qualifications of leaders in pre primary institutions include their rights, obligations and competences. The end of the theoretical part is describing cooperation with the founders and parents, which is one of the most important factors affecting the quality of kindergarten. Practical part of diploma thesis contains two case studies of two preschool institutions. These institutions are similar in their size, number of classes, capacity of children and number of employees, but they are different in their founders.
