Automation of production lines: an ethical point of view

Through automation and robotization, factories are trying to eliminate the participation of human labour in their production, with goal to have efficient production and higher profits. The thesis focuses mainly on the consequences of automation. The first part of the thesis characterizes the process of automation itself and its historical development. It shows the advantages and problems of automation. The second part focuses on the process from a sociological point of view, i.e., the implications for the lives of workers. The main part is an examination of the process from an ethical point of view. I focus primarily on the dignity of work, the meaning of work, business ethics, corporate codes of ethics and ethical values.
The consequences of managerial decisions in the selected sport club

Title: Consequences of managerial decisions in a selected sports club Objectives: The main objective of this thesis is to identify the key managerial decisions that took place in the management of the selected sports club, which started to lead to a deterioration in the performance of the A-team, and to examine what actions may have led to this decline. Methods: To find out the consequences of managerial decisions in the selected sports club, I first analysed the top league tables and club results, as well as the managerial environment, processes and examined the application of managerial decisions in practice, then I conducted four semi-structured interviews. Results: The results obtained reveal key decisions made by managers that had a negative impact on the performance of the selected sports club. The main shortcoming was found to be the lack of education of the managers with a combination of mismanagement of the club budget and too unprofessional behaviour. Diploma thesis "Proposal for optimisation of the remuneration system and human resources management in a microenterprise" is focused on the analysis of the human resources management of the company. The theoretical part is focused on the definition of fundamental concepts in this area, on the personality of the manager and his requirements, on the reward and development of employees. It also focuses on the influence of the manager and his roles. The practical part focuses on the current state of the reward system in the company, historical data and current human resource management in the company. It is aimed at providing the basis for the design of a new reward system and at improving the coordination of employee work.

The bachelor thesis deals with the assessment and development of management skills in JYSK Ltd. Using a questionnaire survey and an interview with a company representative, it examines the key skills of managers and the effectiveness of current training and evaluation methods. In the essay of the work, gaps were identified in some areas. Based on this data, the thesis presents suggestions for minimizing the identified shortcomings.

This bachelor thesis focuses on the process of management skills development in a company. The thesis is structured in three parts. The first part consists of an overview of the theoretical background necessary for the construction of the thesis. These backgrounds are focused on managerial skills and their development. The second part is devoted to the analysis of a specific enterprise and includes two methods of investigation thus providing an overall view of the issue under study. This section is designed to reveal potential gaps within managerial skills and their development. The final section is focused to formulating suggestions and recommendations to address the identified gaps.

The bachelor thesis focuses on the examination of the relationship between manager and subordinate. The theoretical part defines the literature search and key concepts. In the analytical part, the current state of affairs in the selected company is identified and evaluated through a questionnaire survey and the LMX method. Based on the analysis of the obtained information, suggestions and recommendations for improvement are presented in the last part of the thesis.

Proposal of a motivational system for a student team

Student teams are very beneficial for gaining practical experience and making contacts while studying. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to propose a motivational system for the student team strojLAB, which has not yet had this system in place. In the first part of the thesis, theoretical research of important topics related to the subject is discussed. In the second part, an analysis of the current state of the student team is conducted by interviewing the management and directing a questionnaire survey for all current and former team members. This is followed by the proposal part, where recommendations for the development of a motivational system are brought out and based on analytic part. All the suggestions have been presented to the management and will be implemented gradually.
The impact of management training on subordinates' motivation for further training

This thesis examines the impact of managers' continuing education on their subordinates' motivation for continuing education. The aim of the thesis was to find out how employees are influenced by their supervisor's approach to continuing education and whether manager training has a positive effect on motivation for learning and development. The theoretical part is divided into three main chapters. First, it deals with an introduction to management, the role and tasks of the manager, approaches to leading people, or managerial competencies. The second part discusses manager education and a systematic approach to manager development, including possible barriers to learning. The third section deals with motivation, where the concepts of motivation and stimulation, the context of motivation and the hierarchy of needs are defined and strategies to motivate adults to learn are described. The practical part of the thesis analyses the educational offer within the selected organisation, which can be used regularly by managers and employees. Furthermore, structured interviews are conducted with six selected managers. The thesis combines the theoretical part, where the basic concepts of management are explained and topics such as personality types, motivation, stress management, time management and personal development are discussed, with the practical part, which includes the analysis of all these areas in selected managers. Based on this analysis, recommendations and suggestions are offered to increase their effectiveness and the overall success of the company.
