The impact of management training on subordinates' motivation for further training

This thesis examines the impact of managers' continuing education on their subordinates' motivation for continuing education. The aim of the thesis was to find out how employees are influenced by their supervisor's approach to continuing education and whether manager training has a positive effect on motivation for learning and development. The theoretical part is divided into three main chapters. First, it deals with an introduction to management, the role and tasks of the manager, approaches to leading people, or managerial competencies. The second part discusses manager education and a systematic approach to manager development, including possible barriers to learning. The third section deals with motivation, where the concepts of motivation and stimulation, the context of motivation and the hierarchy of needs are defined and strategies to motivate adults to learn are described. The practical part of the thesis analyses the educational offer within the selected organisation, which can be used regularly by managers and employees. Furthermore, structured interviews are conducted with six selected managers. These interviews serve to gain a deeper understanding of managers' attitudes towards training, their approach to developing both their own skills and those of their team members. The interviews...

The bachelor thesis focuses on the analysis and evaluation of the management of personal development of managers of the business company OMAP Financial Group. The thesis combines the theoretical part, where the basic concepts of management are explained and topics such as personality types, motivation, stress management, time management and personal development are discussed, with the practical part, which includes the analysis of all these areas in selected managers. Based on this analysis, recommendations and suggestions are offered to increase their effectiveness and the overall success of the company.
Motivation and Satisfaction of Managers in the Selected Company

This master's thesis deals with the satisfaction of managers and the correct grasp of the motivational style by management and society. The work is divided into two parts - theoretical and empirical. In the theoretical part, basic concepts are defined: manager, management, leader, leadership. Next, the types of leadership styles of managers are defined and compared. Subsequently, the concept of need, motive, motivation is explained here and the most basic tools for motivation are presented. The empirical part contains a qualitative research study carried out through semi-structured interviews, the aim of which was to answer the main research questions. At the same time, it was investigated what influences this phenomenon and what type of cooperation or help the respondents would welcome to improve their work performance. The goal of this work is to make a concrete proposal that will lead to an increase in work performance.
Communication and corporate culture in construction engineering

This bachelor thesis is focused on communication and corporate culture in the construction engineering, with an emphasis on importance and improvement. The thesis aims to capture the importance of this topic in the context of the construction engineering. In the theoretical part of the thesis, the issue of communication and culture in the construction industry is examined in detail to provide a comprehensive overview. The practical part presents the results of the research conducted, combining quantitative and qualitative approaches. The data was obtained through questionnaire surveys and guided interviews with employees of selected construction companies. The paper concludes with a summary of partial conclusions and formulates recommendations for improving communication and corporate culture in construction companies. This work included a proposal for a more effective survey methodology and tips for making the industry more attractive to young people.
The Personality of a Manager in the Selected Organizations

This bachelor thesis focused on the personality profiles of managers in the public and private sectors. Personality DISC tests and interviews were utilized for manager analysis. The main differences between the sectors were evident in motivation and approach to subordinates, with the private sector emphasizing individual needs, while the public sector focuses more on goal setting and supervision of their achievement. The thesis achieved its goal of evaluating managers' personality profiles and proposed recommendations for improvement, including the implementation of psychological support for development. Psychology was identified as a key factor influencing managerial work. The thesis provides both a theoretical overview and empirical research results that can be used to enhance managerial functions and support mental health in organizations.
Managerial Competencies in Small Enterprises

The dissertation thesis dealt with the managerial competencies in the small manufacturing enterprises in the Czech Republic. The research aimed to examine the current level of these competencies on the sample of top managers of those enterprises. The chosen topic is topic of current importance due the competency development for enhancing the managerial performance. The thesis elaboration was based on the detailed literature review of national and international publications in the respected scientific journals, and on the in-depth analyses conducted through the primary researches. The main objective of the dissertation thesis was to detect the competency level of top managers in the small manufacturing enterprises in the context of business management and to identify the key variables influencing the discovered competency level and on the basis of research findings provide recommendations for further competency development. The main objective was supported with four partial objectives and five research hypotheses. On the basis of results of executed pilot research on managerial competencies the model of managerial competencies was established, and further verified in the author’s primary research. Within the data analysis and data evaluation, the competency level was formed. The dependences of competencies on examined variables were tested empirically. Those variables were sex, length of current and total practice, age, ownership and education. The aggregated research results were compared with the literature review and based on this comparison, the recommendations for further managerial competency level improvement were provided. The conclusions and further research aims form the integral part of the dissertation thesis.
Coaching as a method for managerial development and possibilities of its application in construction engineering

This thesis deals with coaching as a method of developing managers. The aim of this work is to determine the possibilities of coaching in construction engineering and what is its contribution to the construction companies. The theoretical part deals with definitions of basic concepts and theories associated with the specified topic. Empirical part is devoted to a questionnaire survey. The interviews controll the volidity of the hypothesis. Conclusion focus on the evaluation of empirical part and recommendations for construction companies.

Time management in construction company managerial work

The goal of the thesis is to find out if manager in the area of building uses the methods of time management for the planning of work and tasks. At the beginning of theoretical part is the basic definition of the „time management“, assessment of the goals and the priorities, explanation of the methods used by time management and how to manage effectively. This part of the thesis deals with the downside as well – procrastination. Shows this downside as inability to manage the time management. The methods of time management are described and history of this methods as well. The second – practical part of the thesis – contains proposed hypotheses what investigate how the time management is in reality used by building managers, how helps the electronics and if managers prefer the working time. The author tries this hypotheses to confirm or to refute using the survey and structured interviews in selected building companies. The results of the thesis are suitable recommendations for more effective planning of the time and avoidance the mistakes in this area.
