Fojtíková, Monika ; Fialová, Ludmila (advisor) ; Tilinger, Pavel (referee)
Title of thesis: Contribution of consulting service to a change of lifestyle Summary: The question of healthy life style has been recently in the centre of frequently discussed topics. The population's lifestyle has changed noticeably in comparison with the past and high-quality nutrition and regular motion activity is frequently neglected. People suffer from stress, lack of sleep and all these factors bring an increased level of heath risk. Among others, the society reacts to this fact by founding an amount of consulting clinics which try to help people to change and achieve a healthier and better quality life style. This thesis is concerned with an effect of a programme individually formed by a consultant on a change of life style and consequently on a change of female physical constitution at the age of 18 - 65. The research is supposed to reveal whether the program itself, regular controls and feed - backs will bring positive changes of life style and if there consequently follows a reduction of body weight as well as improvement of other physical parameters. Objective of thesis: Our aim was to determine what kind of women seek for help and consultations in the area of healthy life style. We were also interested which effect individually formed programme has and whether this change also...

Title: Innovativ ways to affect overweight and obesity (use of the machine Body - Space VacuTherm). Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to evaluate if walking on Vacutherme encourages and accelerate body fat loss and figure forming as advertisements claim. Based on my own measurements of the clients of our clinic MS Clinic in Slaný I will examine body weight loss, particularly body fat loss, decrease of centimeters of those areas that are exposed to vacuum and change in body composition. I compare the results of clients enrolled in group used to weight reduction only VacuTherm lesson in the machine, with clients of the second group, which combine lessons in the machine with another physical activity attending at least 2 times a week for longer period of time. Methods: To get results important for bachelor thesis I chose only measurement method. For data processing, this method is most accurate. I used two forms of measurement. With one presentation helped me body analyzer Tanita BC-1000, which provided me with information that can not be measured by conventional methods. The second option is a common way of measuring the circumference of lots tracked to within one centimeter. At work I examine a group of 20 women who underwent diagnostic input on physical analyzer, where they were measured value...

Keywords: body fat, %fat Pařízková, %fat Deurenberg, BIA, BMI
Changes in nutritional status during high-dose chemotherapy in selected hematooncological diseases
Křivánková, Jana ; Szotkowski, Tomáš (advisor) ; Káňová, Marcela (referee)
Hematooncological diseases are often accompanied by dietary restriction, especially in cytotoxic therapy. The main purpose of the work was to assess the effect of high-dose chemotherapy on the change of nutritional status in two groups of hematooncological patients. A total of 16 patients were enrolled. Changes of the body composition were evaluated using bioelectrical impedance analysis supplemented by monitoring of biochemical nutritional indicators. Observations showed that in both groups the majority lost weight. In the first group of eight patients with acute myeloid leukemia observed during three consecutive hospitalizations, the median of change of body weight was -3.7 kg (-4.3%). Loss of lean body mass with a median value of -4.8 kg (-7.2%) was detected at all patients. Body fat was reduced at half of the patients. In some cases, with length of observation, there was an increase in fat mass along with visceral fat. In the second group, which included eight patients (after autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation) at whom one hospitalization was evaluated, body weight was reduced at six patients. The medianof change of body weight was -2.1 kg (-2.3%). At five patients, the treatment representeda loss of active metabolic mass. The change of the weight of the lean body mass was shown...
