Digital Detox at Brno University of Technology

Cílem této bakalářské práce je popsat závislost na digitálních technologiích a digitální detox a provézt výzkum zabývající se závislostí na digitálních technologiích a zkušenostmi s digitálním detoxem u studentů a učitelů na Vysokém učení technickém v Brně. Práce zahrnuje rešerši literatury na téma digitální závislosti, digitálního detoxu a výzkum prostřednictvím dotazníku, který byl distribuován studentům a učitelům. Výsledky dotazníkového šetření ukázaly, že více než 70 % respondentů stráví více než dvě hodiny denně na telefonu, přičemž nejpoužívanější aplikace jsou Facebook a Instagram. Současně téměř 70 % respondentů přiznalo, že používají telefon více, než původně zamýšleli, což naznačuje možné symptomy digitální závislosti. Povědomí o digitálním detoxu mělo téměř 90 % respondentů a téměř 50 % respondentů mělo zkušenost s nějakou formou digitálního detoxu. Většina respondentů doporučila digitální detox, což naznačuje jejich povědomí o jeho pozitivních účincích.
The ideal first grade teacher trough the eyes of parents

The thesis surveys the perspective of parents of children attending last class of nusery school and investigates what expectation they have about first grade teachers. The thesis is divided into two parts, the theoretical and the practical part. The theoretical part summarizes existing knowledge the main actors wiho are present in the pupil's transition to the first grade, which are the pupil, the family and the teacher. The practical part is focused on a mixed methods study. In the first part quantitative research is used questionnaire method, the research sample comprises the parents of preschool children. The responses reflext the respondent's opinions about idea about first grade teacher in primary school. First grade teachers react to this parent's idea. The semi-structured group interview method is used to find out whether the parent's ideas seem realistic to them and if they satisfy or prove to satisfy this idea about first grade teacher in primary school. The aims of the thesis is to ascertain, how looks the teacher's ideal by parents, which characteristics parents prefer in relation to pupils and parents and how the first grade teachers react on these ideas. Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) in Engineering Courses at Brno University of Technology

Cílem této bakalářské práce je vymezit koncepci integrované výuky předmětu a cizího jazyka (CLIL) a analyzovat některé faktory, které ovlivňují úspěšnou implementaci CLIL v odborných předmětech na Vysokém učení technickém v Brně. Teoretická část práce diskutuje výhody CLILu, vysvětluje model Coyleové, Hooda a Marshe a popisuje využití různých pedagogických modelů a strategií při integraci této metody do kurikula. Zároveň také předkládá přehled vybraných výzkumných studií zaměřených na využití CLILu, který ukazuje, že CLIL má na univerzitách významný vliv na výuku odborných předmětů prostřednictvím cizího jazyka. Praktická část práce se zabývá výzkumem zaměřeným na aktuální situaci CLILu v odborných předmětech studijního programu Angličtina v elektrotechnice a informatice na Vysokém učení technickém v Brně. Závěrem práce diskutuje výzkumná zjištění vyplývající z dotazníkového šetření mezi učiteli a studenty a navrhuje, jakým způsobem výuku prostřednictvím CLILu zdokonalit.

Recruitment and Selection of Employees in Selected Company

This thesis focuses on the analysis of the recruitment and selection of employees at CONTEG, s. r. o., based in Pelhřimov. The goal of the thesis is to evaluate the system of recruitment and selection of employees in the selected company and to suggest possible changes for the improvement of this system. The first part of the thesis concentrates on a general description and theoretical principles of human resource management, with an emphasis on the recruitment and selection of new employees. The content of the practical part involves examining the current state within the company, applying two research methods: quantitative and qualitative. The survey is conducted through a questionnaire, complemented by a structured interview with the director of the HR department. The questions included in the questionnaire are designed to provide quantifiable data suitable for statistical processing. This method of processing enables a thorough understanding of the problems the company faces. In conclusion, the thesis presents suggestions for making the recruitment and selection process more efficient.

Thesis deals with the identification of knowledge and awareness of Fairtrade at the Faculty of Economics of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice. The aim of the thesis is to identify knowledge in the area of Fairtrade and to propose measures to increase awareness of Fairtrade among students and employees. The practical part of the thesis deals with conducting marketing research among students and employees of the Faculty and subsequent analysis of the data from the questionnaire survey, which forms the basis for evaluating the established hypotheses and proposing recommendations that, once implemented, could help to increase awareness of Fairtrade at the Faculty of Economics.
