Conception of the lifelong learning
Popelková, Lucie ; Šerák, Michal (advisor) ; Neusarová, Jana (referee)
Main aim of my bachelor thesis is to give a comprehensive explanation of the field of lifelong learning, to clarify its transformations during important historical periods and to cover all its aspects. Although learning during whole life is a natural accompaniment of human evolution, it is not possible to let it out of public interests. In most cases, it is all about accidental, unintentional, unsystematic and aimless learning. Provided the system of lifelong learning would be created, which comprises formal education, non-formal and informal learning, is accessible to everyone, the whole process would be more effective and lifelong learning become a device to cope with changes in humans' lives and to cope with problems of society. This is the cause why I concentrate on explanation of this system and its priorities. Since the situation in lifelong learning is connected with the degree of economic development of each state, I do not leave out the present situation in the Czech Republic. Finally, I put a question of real impacts of implementation of lifelong learning. Are his proponents really true and is it surely a device to bear individual's destiny? Or are right those of its opponents, who claim lifelong learning will make inequalities higher? There are people who have reached high degree of education and...

Social inequalities
Gašparínová, Marta ; Kopecký, Martin (advisor) ; Neusarová, Jana (referee)
Education is very important part of our life these days and it has been integral part of our working career in a few last years. I have been working in a field of education for many years so that is why I have been interested in possibilities of studying in our society. The aim of this work was to prove or disprove the idea of educational inequalities in our educational system. I wanted to show how schools can determinate student achievment and social mobility through the roles of transmission of knowledge and culture, socialization, and occupational preparations. I think schools cannot be expected to compensate for social inequalities in the large society, or to transform society and eliminate these inequalities, but they still have the ability to lessen the influence of race, gender, etc., they can also create opportunities for students to utilize their cognitive abilities and talents to become upwardly mobile. Unfortunately this does not happen in the Czech Republic according my point of view. The Europian Union also lay the big stress on lifelong learning, unforunately, our educational system still prohibitive people to continue on studying anytime they wanted. It seems to me that our school education system is not open for everybody and it is not equal to all of us. It will take a long time to improve it.

Kohoutková, Hana ; Tureckiová, Michaela (advisor) ; Neusarová, Jana (referee)
The purpose of this paper is to outline the various possible approaches in the concept of career management and development within contemporary management. Career theories of the 20th century are compared with the theories relevant to current society. The notion of career development is changing with different employees and organizations understand professional careers differently. This emerging variation is applicable especially for university graduates who are entering the labor market with highly diverse expectations. Human Resources professionals, managers, and professionals in adult education, should be aware that career expectation is important and consider the different priorities and values of individual employees in their future professional growth and development. Beside these professionals, also individuals should be more responsible for their own career success. This paper summarizes the issue of career development and it aims to contribute to discussions about career management and career development for Human Resources professionals as well as for individual employees.
